Ongoing efforts to comprehend and address the factors contributing to the decline of house sparrows in India continue, with a specific focus on promoting conservation measures to ensure their continued presence in the country. With avian biodiversity and sparrow conservation in mind, this book aims to provide a basic understanding of avian biodiversity, using the house sparrow in the foothills of Garhwal Himalayas as an example.
