Rentt and Lorraine are tasked with picking up the grand guildmaster of Yaaran and escorting them to Maalt. Rentt Faina, the undead adventurer, agrees to take on a request from the Latuules, a highly influential yet mysterious family in Maalt. At the end of the maze, Rentt finds the Latuule matriarch, a young girl named Laura Latuule.
