It is the belief of traditional Indian nationalists that the events of 1857 are not a series of isolated and uncoordinated mutinies. In fact, it was a war of idependence for achieving freedom.It is a turning point in which the nationalist feeling, long suppressed by the British occupation flared into violence. It convinced the Britishers that India could not be held at leisure and fear of another mutiny continued to haunt the British rulers right till 1947. Chandra Shekhar Azad is a matchless personality of the Indian revolutionary movement. His love for the freedom of India to the exclusion of all else, indomitable courage and commendable strength of character will ideally inspire for ever the custodians of freedom of our nation. The ideal of patriotism which he, though born in a very indigent family, presented is not only commendable but adorable as well. Azad, in fact, is a symbol of virtues such as love for the country,renunciation and self sacrifice.

రమేష్ బ్యాంకులో ఆఫీసర్ గా పనిచేస్తుంటాడు. అతని భార్య పేరు జాహ్నవి. ఆమె ఒక పెద్ద కంపెనిలో ఉద్యోగం చేస్తుంది. వాళ్ళకు ఒక్కతే కూతుర ప్రియ. టెన్త్ క్లాస్ చచదువుతుంది. అనుకోకుండ ఒక ఉద్యమంలో రమేష్ కు గుండు తగిలి చనిపోతాడు. ఆ గుండు కాల్చింది సాగర్ అనే యస్ పి. సాగర్ తండ్రి ఈ విషయం తెలుసుకుని చాల బాధపడతాడు. జాహ్నవి ఇంటికి నౌకరుగా వెళతాడు. ఆమెను ఒప్పించి ఆ ఇంట్లో పనికి కుదురుతాడు. వాళ్ళకు అన్ని పనులు చేసి పెడతాడు. ప్రియకు చదువు చెప్తాడు. ముఖ్యంగా ఆమెకు లెక్కలలో ట్రయినింగ్ ఇస్తాడు. జాహ్నవిని రెండుసార్లు కాపాడతాడు. ఒక వైపు ప్రియకు చెప్పుతునే ఇంకో వైపు తన మనుమరాలు శృతికి కూడా పాఠాలు చెప్తాడు. ఇద్దరు పరీక్షలో మెరిట్ లో పాసవుతారు. ఇద్దరికి ఫెసిలిటేషన్ జరుగుతుంది. తమ విజయానికి కారణం తమ తాతయ్య అని ఇద్దరు చెప్తారు. ఇద్దరు రమణను స్టేజి మీదకు తీసుకువస్తారు. జాహ్నవికి ఏం అర్ధంకాదు. తరువాత రమణ అంతా చెప్తాడు.

संजय येरणे यांची कथा स्वकेंद्रित आत्मानुभव गुंफत जाते. कथेतील पात्र, संवाद व कथानकाला एका जाळ्यात विनतांना ती शेवटी सुखांत, दुःखातांच्या अपेक्षेमध्ये न पडता वाचक रसिकांना आपलीसी करीत, मनाच्या कोपऱ्यात ती सदैव तरळतच राहते.... अनादी प्रश्न विचारांचे थैमान आणि माणुसकीचा आग्रह धरणारी तेवढीच समाजात अस्तित्वात असलेल्या मनभावनेतील विविध पैलू वाचकांना निरीक्षणात्मक नोंद घ्यावयास लावून परिवर्तनाचा टाहो मांडणारी ही कथा होय. कथा वाचतांना मला तरी वाटते, नामदेव तुकारामाचे अभंग आज शेकडो वर्षानंतरही भावार्थाने जसे समाजनिकडीचे ठरताहेत तेवढेच जनमनात उरताहेत. अगदी तसेच संजय येरणे यांची कथा ही शेकडो वर्षानंतरही मानवी मनात आंदोलने उभी करणारी काळाच्या गर्तेत दृष्टीआड न होता जनमनात चपखल बसत उरणारी कथा आहे.

நடுத்தர மக்களின் வாழ்க்கை வரலாறை நம் கண்முன்னே கொண்டு வருவதுதான் இந்தக் கதைகள். நடுத்தர மக்களின் வாழ்வாதாரம் அவர்களின் பொருளாதாரமே. இந்த உலகின் பொருளாதாரமே நடுத்தர மக்களின் பொருளாதாரத்தையே ஆணிவேராகக் கொண்டு அமைந்துள்ளது. இவர்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் சுயநலம் மிக்கவர்களாக, ஆடம்பரத்தில் மோகம் கொண்டவர்களாக, மேற்கத்திய நாடுகளின் கலாச்சாரத்தை மேற்கொள்பவர்களாகக் காணப்பட்டாலும் இவர்கள் தங்கள் வரவையும் செலவையும் சரிக்கட்டி தங்கள் வாழ்க்கையை திறம்பட நடத்துவது மிகவும் வியக்கத் தக்க விஷயமே.
