The Rise of Metallurgy in Eurasia is a landmark study in the evolution of early metallurgy in the Balkans. It demonstrates that far from being a rare and elite practice, the earliest metallurgy in the world was a common and communal craft activity.

Presenting the results of the TransFER project, this study uses a wide-ranging methodology to examine the evidence for, and nature of, iron production in the lowland area of the central Drava River basin in Croatia during late Antiquity and the early Middle Ages. The results testify to the importance and longevity of iron production in the area.

Later prehistoric settlement in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly reports on the excavation between 1996 and 2014 of five later prehistoric and Roman period settlements. All the sites were multi-phased, revealing similar and contrasting occupational patterns stretching from the Bronze Age into the Iron Age and beyond.

This volume presents the results of archaeological work at the Neolithic site of Tinqueux 'la Haubette' (Marne) dated to the 'Blicquy/Villeneuve-Saint-Germain' (5000-4700 cal. BC).
