One of the most important things we can convey in a child's life is simply how much we want to be present in their lives. This book does that in a fun and memorable way so that the children and grandchildren in your life have no doubt that you being with them is even more important than just doing things with them.

The mind can be a dangerous place. Milo Weston often refers to it as "ground zero." Out of Body into Mind: An Ultra-Reflective Memoir invites readers to delve into harrowing and destructive divorce-oriented scenes the author himself has experienced during his formative years, as well as neurotic and obsessive-compulsive psychological, spiritual, physiological, and sociological-trickling plagues in hopes of achieving cerebral freeness and mind-actualization through intense and cathartic self-reflection. Being a transformative mental case study, not a single chapter of this memoir offers surface-level content. By way of four chronological mental phases and three wisdom-bundled "Mind Relics" series inspired by Proverbs and Meditations, lessons and some of the deepest levels of current youth's human experience are explored while being provided grounded, relevant perspectives for everyday use and personal growth in a wide spectrum of connectable areas. It's nearly impossible to reflect alongside these testaments without adding a new perspective to your mind's collection, or cementing Milo's think pieces as true mind relics. In this melancholic, yet triumphant memoir, mental health is prioritized and its utmost importance is elaborated upon in this mirrored space for those seeking thoughtful direction, transformation, clarity, and peace amid life's burdensome positions.

The Thriverold Histories are the three-part biographical story of Ren Lioghtfinna. His story is one interwoven with the events that consume three different worlds. This first book recounts how Ren comes of age and finds his place in a world that stands between those of light and darkness, a world called Metaxuheimir. Ren must navigate the events surrounding the final collapse of the Ancient Order, as both a bystander and key participant in the history of Metaxuheimir. As new powers emerge, political and social chaos is inevitable. This chaos is used by the emerging political power called the Mountain, but also by a more ancient power. However, this ancient power that seeks to once again enslave humans, he must contend with another rising power, that of The Kingdom of Eternal Light. As a soldier in the Skotian empire Ren must fight political forces that seek to destroy his world, forces that wield awesome powers emanating from the Rift, known as Riptek, . The power of the Rift is a terrible power used by humans to enslave the weak, enrich themselves, and destroy their political enemies. But these powers come at a price, one that could once again transform Metaxuheimir into a world enslaved by powerful ancient forces from beyond the Rift.

Enlightenment or Spiritual awakening is a psychological phenomenon where something of the mind develops, awakens, and unifies, and something else of the mind drops off or surrenders. Some desire spiritual awakening very directly and indeed, very intensely, but it is very difficult to achieve, because spiritual enlightenment is something that happens rather than something that we do. And on the other hand, spiritual awakening does not really happen by itself. There is always some preparation for some time in whatever form. Some develop intensity through the development of deep understanding that later leads to more intense curiosity that ultimately leads to seeing through the obstacles of the mind, and then a profound surrender occurs as a permanent state of being. Others develop intensity through desire and developing powerful emotions that may lead to the higher awakened state, where the heart blissfully awakens and unites with consciousness. And still others develop intensity through the proper use of suffering, where suddenly they find themselves transformed into awakened conscious beings. This short book describes what happens in the actual experience of spiritual awakening and how to prepare and thus speed up the process. The book also discusses the profound benefits of enlightenment, powers associated with mind development, healing oneself, accomplishing in life, and how to prepare for life after death.

This book along with all my writings is dedicated to my wife Rev. Dr. Betty J. Whitely who continues to encourage me to write and be a good writer. Thank God for her. Also, I want to dedicate this book to all my siblings and others who are related to us on both sides of the family. The book entitled, "Proverbial Reflections" is a devotional book that you can use every day primarily for your thoughts, prayers, and direction of life. The book of Proverbs from my own thoughts and learning tells me that this writing is classified with Job and Ecclesiastes as Hebrew Wisdom Literature. Some scholars or traditionalist attributes Proverbs to Solomon. Proverbs some say that perhaps Solomon wrote. Solomon was the wisest in which God gave him this gift. I will try not to be too scholarly in this reflective book. I will attempt to cover verse by verse devotions. Endowed by the Holy Spirit who knows if I will go to other verses as a devotion. After all the Holy Spirit is mysterious. I will let God use my mind, my thoughts, and the Holy Spirit within me with these devotional writings. I will attempt to cover the whole year. There are 365 days in the year, and a leap year makes 366 days. During these writings, I am dealing with tension. There is Covid-19 pandemic still going on, racial and political unrest, so many lives lost because of various reasons. I know that God can carry us through these trials and tribulations. This will be my second publication of a book that I have written. The scripture quotations that I will use are some translations that are public domain or used by permission. When it comes to moral behavior, human life, and righteous conduct, this is a reflection book that hopefully will be useful for you in your daily living. It is my prayer that it will help me too! Was the book of Proverbs primarily written for young people? Yes!! However, the book of Proverbs is applicable for all people whether you are young or at a mature age. I am excited already. I hope that that you will be excited too, as you read these verses coming from Proverbs and its reflections.

These lessons, these proverbs are the product of nearly four decades of experiences as an adult. Many of these have been forged in the crucible of life. Having a father that's a Sicilian-American, U.S. Marine, and a Catholic gave me a phenomenal foundation of wisdom. This wisdom was honed, put through the furnace, and forged under great pressure, during a 21+ years career in Special Operations. I have continued on a path toward better wisdom, through trial and error, introspection, and validation in my civilian career, now close to 20 years and counting. With my 17 books (counting this one) I have adjusted, added new ones, deleted ones that no longer apply, and perfected many of these. These lessons, these proverbs, are a peak behind the curtain. The title, The Red Pill on Wisdom, is a metaphor for the choice between the brutal truths, autonomy, and understanding of reality. We may not like it, we may love it, we may not agree with it, or we may embrace it. That's the point.

This book is the story of my life, a lady who grew up on a small farm in the Deep South, and how I was able to reach the top of my career field, serving as a two-star general at the Pentagon. Women have served, both in and out of uniform, in defense of this country since the beginning of our nation. Serving the United States Air Force in uniform was my career choice. This book is an outgrowth of the review of publicity surrounding my military career, both active and reserves, and follow-on civilian career, and of the inventory of the more than 100 speeches I gave when I reached the top of my career field. Audiences in the 1980s and 90s were surprised to learn of the original roadblocks, both laws and policies, which precluded me, a woman, from setting goals at the beginning of my military journey in 1960 to reach the level to which I finally achieved during my career in uniform. All I had when in uniform were male mentors, because there were no females to which I could look for guidance and success stories. Indeed, my accomplishments led to the glass ceiling being opened wide for the other ladies who came after me and were recognized for their ability and talents to serve and excel at higher levels of leadership.Friends who know of my accomplishments implored me to put pen to paper to show how I, as a young girl could -with hard work, tenacity, stick-to-it-iveness and using lessons learned in early years -propel myself to the forefront, leading to success. Come with me as I take you back to the beginning, to my first role models: my mother and father who set examples for me and taught me lessons that would propel me even further than a little 1940's farm girl from Oakman, Alabama could have imagined. I hope you'll be inspired to see where my dreams took me, finding love, heartbreak, adventure and prestige along the way.

I must admit it has been an exciting, history-filled life. From the Great Depression of the 1930's, WW II, my combat service in the Korean War, Vietnam, the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, the amazing technological breakthroughs, McCarthy times, the Kennedys, Nixon, the Clintons, the Bushes, 9/11, the turmoil with Russia and the Ukraine, the pandemic, the travails of Donald Trump and "January 6" have all contributed to the drama of living. Some of the most rewarding events of those years was watching grandson, Adam Cook, the subject of this book, grow into a man determined to be of value to the community. This book depicts one day of his boyhood.
