As believers, our lives can be turned upside down in an instant by unexpected crises and challenges that can shake our faith, fill us with despair, or radically transform our lives. How we respond to these challenges will be largely dependent upon what we believe, and what we believe will be dependent upon whose voice we choose to listen to. Jesus said that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy but that He came that we might have abundant life. But how do we experience abundant life in the midst of life's painful struggles? In The Day the Telegram Came, we will take a glimpse into the lives of biblical and modern-day men and women who faced formidable challenges. Each was confronted with a choice-to believe the enemy's boisterous telegrams of doom, failure, and loss or to believe the promises of the One who came to bring us good news, to open blinded eyes, and to set the captives free. In choosing the latter, each encountered the miraculous and experienced abundant life amid seemingly impossible situations. As you read each account, you too will be challenged to trust God in the midst of your personal season of conflict, pain, and crisis. The choice is yours: telegrams of defeat or words of life-whose report will you believe?

Born in 1914 just prior to WWI in a small town in Austria, a young Valerie is determined to escape the modest background of her family. Early twentieth-century convention and financial circumstances limit her career choices, and she reluctantly follows her father's footsteps to become a teacher. Faced with the first real dilemma of her young life, she bravely deals with adversity and mishap, and when during her time as student she becomes familiar with the Nazi underground movement, she wisely resists joining. In March 1938, Valerie and many people in Austria are confounded by the Anschluss, Hitler's forced annexation of Austria, which renders the country part of Germany. It is during this time in her life that Valerie believes to have realized her dreams, when in September 1939, World War II breaks out, an event destined to end in worldwide cataclysm, though at the time no one thought, or dared to think, of it as such. For the first few years, the German Army is remarkably successful until hopes for a peaceful conclusion are dashed by Hitler's ruthless blunders and the Russian winter. Valerie's story closely follows the war years in historic detail through its catastrophic end, the ten-year Allied occupation and post-war challenges. Conditions gradually return to normal, and Valerie feels content with her life until she suddenly faces events that even her lifelong strength and determination cannot overcome.

While we wait, we often feel stuck or even as if we're suffocating. This study is designed to guide you to the realization that you have so much potential while you're waiting. When we're waiting, we have the opportunity to prepare a new idea, nurture a concept into maturity, develop a relationship that has been set aside. Waiting does not mean sitting and doing nothing. Waiting is a very thoughtful, energized time to prepare for the next step. If you've ever waited, which I know you have, this study is for you. The irony of the title of this study is how long I had to wait to even submit it to the world. A lesson in itself. As I waited for my atheist, past gang member husband to become a believer, a relationship with my stepmother to be one full of respect and love, and most importantly for the timing to share some of my waiting with you, so much more happened. You will have opportunities to dive into scripture, reflect on your past, and even prayerfully consider your future. You can do this study with a group, with a friend, or even by yourself. As you journey through the scriptures and learn more about your relationship with Jesus and those around you, I hope that you're waiting becomes filled with more joy than sorrow and more focus than fog and more growth than death. Thank you for taking a chance on me; thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey; thank you for making your waiting worthwhile.

Part One: Our StoryThis book is the story of the journey my siblings and I took to honor our parents. The Bible says we are "e;to honor our father and our mother,"e; and Our Story reflects what that journey looked like for us. Everyone's journey will be unique to them, and their circumstances may not look like ours at all, and that is okay; it shouldn't look like ours. We came together as a family and made the decision to care for them to the best of our ability to the end, and although the journey was long and we grew weary along the way, the Lord looked at our hearts and made up for everything we lacked. He was the strength that saw us through to the end, and for that, we are forever grateful.Part Two: His StoryFrom the time I began to pen this story, the world already lacked honor and respect for so many things on so many levels, but by the time I finished the book, the world had gone into a downward spiral of complete chaos and utter disregard for people and things I never imagined seeing in my lifetime. Lack of honor and respect for just about everything has begun to take over society. Who would have believed America could be so shaken and turned upside down with turmoil of this magnitude in such a short period of time?I believe entire generations have no idea what "e;to honor or respect"e; even looks like, hence adding to the chaos and mayhem we are seeing today in our cities and on our streets. All the more reason, we need to come together and fight this atrocity gripping our nation. I believe we, as individuals and corporately as a nation, are being called to honor in this hour.

I wrote this book because I love God. Even when I did not know God, I knew I was being watched over. I had a hard upbringing, yet a loving mother, loving sister, and brother, twelve in all. One day, this pastor showed up with a limousine, and he and his wife had church on the Sabbath day, Saturday really. He asked my mother if we could attend. She agreed, and that was where I really realized that there is a God. We had gone to one church prior, but my mother said that we were too young then to realize it there. That was at Pastor Haynes's. My book says that you go through a lot of everything, but God is always there. I found my life with ups and downs all the way, but it was rewarding. That is because God is real, and He had to stabilize life for me-ups, downs, twisted, good, straight, upset, whatever. He made it work. So my reason is to believe in the only one real God when all else fails. Then God will reassure you He is God. He is real. Things in life happen, but He is the only one with the solution to every problem. Life is real. Life is not a quick fix, and life is God-given. So I trust God to fix everything in life.

There are many things in life that can make you feel that you belong somewhere else.Whereas others have to go out and find a place where they have a feeling that they belong! It is a matter of just visiting that place and deciding if that place works out for you, as you can feel that you are tied down without actually being tied when you are in the wrong place. "e;'Come into my parlor,' said the spider to the fly"e; (Mary Howitt, "e;The Spide and the Fly"e;).The chance of finding the place where you belong is not always easy! I have written on the things that God enlightened me through our spiritual father's teaching and to share with others on altars also and on its strength.God opened my eyes during the lockdown and miracle after miracle that God has done for me and family that needed to be shared with others. Every seed that I have sown that died came to life again and birthed new faith. "e;Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap"e; (Galatians 6:7). My book speaks on a lot of revelation on how God manifested things into fruition in my life!

A Love Song Just for You highlights God's supernatural and transformative love for his beloveds, as revealed through the Song of Solomon, a love song written by God just for His beloveds. Not everyone is a "e;beloved,"e; but everyone can become a "e;beloved"e; son or daughter of God. A Love Song Just for You leads you on a personal journey of introspection and sings out to you to "e;internalize the love."e; Do you know what it means to be one of God's beloveds-the love and the relationship? Do you really love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength-what should this love look like? Do you really know how to love yourself and others-"e;the Bible"e; way? A heart wholly surrendered to our heavenly Father in Christ Jesus is all He seeks! Walking in His love in the power of the Holy Spirit will do the rest! Oh, how He loves His beloveds! Finally, you can check your "e;Level of Loving"e; (LoL) by using the creative tools in the section "e;Encouraging God's Beloveds in the Things of God."e; Enjoy the journey!

Something we never imagined. We did not see it coming, and we wrestle daily to erase the stain of tragedy from our minds, to heal and hold on to to our mental health and sense of sanity. Losing a loved one is oftentimes painful enough even when expected or accepted under normal circumstances. But tragedy is mentally brutal, a sting of unrest rattling through the corridors of our consciousness replaying the how and the loss of our dear beloved.Beyond grief there is a pathway to mental, spiritual, and heart healing, and to live, we must get to the otherside.Finding peace and power beyond grief is a process we must embrace, a journey we must take, and a terrain we must tread to come into healing from tragedy and loss.Whenever I looked at you (Daniel), talked with you, laughed with you, and even hugged you, I saw a lifetime. I never imagined you would be gone or that a lifetime would end so soon. If only I could have known, we could have talked more, laughed more, hugged more. I could have expressed more how much I appreciated you and told you how much I was proud of you and just how much I loved you. But the truth is, no matter how much more or how long, I still would not have been ready to let go of you.How do you prepare for something like this? And now, we must learn to live with and live through what we were never prepared or ready for.For a while, I wrestled about feeling like I was moving on without you. Now, I realize I take you with me in spirit and in my heart everywhere I go, and we go on together! I love you!

Perversion of Love aims to explore the reasons why we as Christians may struggle to love ourselves and others through the lens of what Dr. Gary Chapman defined, and what has been accepted by popular culture, as the five love languages. Christians have been given a Great Commission which is to spread the Gospel and make disciples. The method by which we fulfill this commission is the greatest commandments-to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves. God created us to love, but we have an enemy whose goal is to destroy everything that God created, and his favorite method of destruction is perversion-the distortion, corruption, or alteration of a thing from its original course or design. So it makes sense that our enemy would seek to pervert the way we love ourselves and others in his attempt to stop the spread of the Gospel. So how does this perversion take place? I believe the enemy attacks us through our primary love language(s) and uses our very own parents as unwitting (and sometimes witting) participants to carry out his plan. Since we all receive love differently, the enemy will attack us in different ways, but there are some common tactics he uses depending on our love language. If we can learn to recognize the enemy's tactics for what they were/are, we can start the process of breaking the cycle of perversion in our lives and the generations to come. In doing so, we can learn to fully love God, ourselves, and others, and we will fulfill the purpose for which we were designed.

Escapades with the Holy SpiritThe book was inspired by my born-again experience in 2014. I was so amazed by the things of God, felt compelled to write it down. And those events that were forgotten, he reminded me, and I wrote about them too. Eventually, all informal notes were turned into this book. For over three years, I had no idea what to call the book. No title until the Holy Spirit spoke. While reading the Book of Jeremiah, I heard his voice say, "e;Escapades with the Holy Spirit."e; I responded aloud, "e;Oh, that's good!"e; I liked the title instantly and was so relieved to have it.A title from God that tells of my mission in life. How wonderful that was. If God is for me, who can be against me? Thank you, Holy Spirit.I very much enjoy helping others and praying for the sick, aside from writing which I have done before. The only difference is before, I was writing formal reports of interviews and now am writing about the ways of our Creator, showing others all is possible with God.The love and joy are indescribable, nothing else matters. I live alone, far from family, and have this one spiritual friend whom I love. He just happens to be God.

This book is about my personal life story and how I experienced some unbelievable things that I had no idea I would ever experience or see in this lifetime. Things that deeply affected me: the drugs, alcohol, and being homeless in a world that's nothing but a death trap. It doesn't have a conscience, and it doesn't care who you are or where you come from. It will eventually destroy you if you choose not to change. We are lost, wandering souls with nowhere to go. The thought of fear had taken control of my mind, that if I did not change, something bad was going to happen to me. I went from being addicted to believing that life is a special gift to each of us and that we can learn and share with each other. I have personally experienced the love of Jesus, and what he can do in our lives gave me hope, courage, empowerment, and faith to know that there is a purpose for me being here. Most of all, to be able to maintain an open mind with the eagerness to learn that life is what we make of it.Despite my many failures had not I failed I would not be where I am today, once you learn the love Jesus has for you, your life will be forever changed. You will be richly blessed and well-prepared to live your best life, which will be an abundant life forever.I hope and pray that this book will give you strength and encouragement and will energize you to believe in yourself. I am grateful today that I don't look like what I have been through, and I am thankful that I never looked back as to want to go back to that dark and evil world from which by God's grace I was delivered. The chains that once had me bound are now broken, and I am free from the tormenting pain of agony and defeat, free from suffering that once burdened me. I have been set free by the blood of Jesus, the precious Lamb of God.Today, I am a strong and confident person. Keep believing in yourself and the one who sent, made, and created you to know that there is nothing impossible for God to do. And that you can do all things through Christ Jesus, who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). My dreams and goals are to be who God created me to be. Because I am wonderfully and fearfully made.

His Private Counsel: Encouragement for the Spirit is a collection of poems with a corresponding devotion. The poems and devotions are uplifting for various times in your life. God is love. When we go through difficult experiences, it is so easy to question if God loves us. He created His Word to be that guidance to overcome these challenges. His Word also expresses how much He really loves us. He wants the best for His children just as we identify with wanting the best for the children we love in our lives. No matter what we are facing, He is still there and He still loves us dearly. May the writings and scriptures remind you that you are loved by God, how special you are, and how you are able to overcome and rise to victory. It's a book that can be a blessing to you and to others as a gift of encouragement

It's been two years since the Great Basin Desert incident. Sorvan is dead, and thirty years of classified underground government research has been made public. After witnessing the amount of power released from the twin's first physical contact, compelled by fear, nearly every country in the world is racing to develop anti-sentient technology. Yet at the same time, the US has vowed to protect the Sentients so long as they refrain from drawing attention to themselves, and Tabatha makes good on her promise to keep Sarah in line.Tabatha, however, has to contend with not only Sarah's varying personalities but her own fallacies as well; her inability to have children. Her desire for normalcy and a family ends up affecting how she interacts with Sarah, viewing her more as a daughter than a sister. But when Sarah has had enough, her alternate personality, Twenty-Four, is released and, with it, a rage that engulfs the entire city of another country. The US is then forced into attempting to take them out. Well aware of the Sentients' destructive capabilities, the administration then enlists the assistance of an unassuming individual who's developed the technology to incapacitate them. However, this individual may have more nefarious reasons for helping to bring down the Sentients.

What if the government-not in China, not in Iran, not in Europe but in the United States of America-deemed the Holy Bible as pornography and banned its use in any capacity, such as in schools, in the workplace, in counseling, in the home, and yes, in church? How would this impact you? Would it change your daily routine? Would it change the message at the church you attend? Would you miss it at all? Ever since God, through the Holy Spirit, passed his text down to the human race, the enemy of our soul has set about to distort and even eliminate that Word altogether. Satan has used some bad players over the millennia to wipe out not only the written document but also people who proclaim its truth. From the garden of Eden to this present day, promises have been made to both preserve and destroy the most important writing in history. Read along as the Last Sunday School Teacher shows us what a government shutdown of the most purchased book ever looks like. Follow the teacher as he prepares the last lesson and invites us to view one believer's journey from the beginnings of faith to the greatest moment in the life of any follower of Christ.

There are so many wonderful books written on prayer that when the Lord told me I was to write this book, I questioned Him. I wondered what I would have to say that hasn't been said already. However, as I began to write, I found out I had a lot to say.You see, The Prayers of an Intercessor is a book based on my experiences through prayer over years. So many times people find prayer to be a difficult thing. Many may think you have to pray some big, flamboyant prayer to be heard by God. However, you will find out by reading this book that we can all pray. In fact, we all need to pray.Prayer is not about fancy words. Prayer is simply talking to the Lord. God is the reader of the heart; He cares more that our prayers be heartfelt. It was some of the simplest prayers I prayed that I saw the greatest answers come about. I have had the honor of seeing many prayers answered over the years, and God is still answering my prayers today.
