The Importance and Purpose of This Book This book is a masterpiece that reinforces the need to develop the “total child” and encourage various creative skills in learning.  It can make learning fun and emphasize sharing of ideas. This book has flexible uses. It can be an enrichment to a language arts program or serve as a review of basic grammar with worksheets to develop skills in various types of creativity. It can be used with a group or with an individual. It can be a springboard for teachers to develop their own creative worksheets and methods. It can also give learners skills to help them pass state writing tests through organization, grammar, brainstorming, and related skills.A student can start according to their present ability and this is the reason for the coded levels. “Foundational” skills deal with very basic skills using structured charts, to basic skills, to intermediate, then advanced levels for elementary students. This book can be used by teachers, tutors, or home schooling parents with sample steps to teach a lesson. This book can also change the lives of learners, because creativity is like magic that sparks excitement and learning that involves “thinking outside the box.”

Turn your dreams and thoughts into a reality.I am just an everyday normal guy. I have always had a positive outlook in life. I have never been one to be afraid to do something new. I get such joy out of the most normal-day occurrences such as in my expressions about life, vacation, and the Lord.I believe you will be able to see yourself in many of my expressions of life. I also believe you can tell a lot about a person by how someone treats the less fortunate than yourself. I try to be a very generous and caring person. I feel that I have never really lost at anything, for everything in life is a learning opportunity-not a failure. In this book, you will find all the joys and sorrows of everyday life. I hope my expressions of life reach backward in time and bring you many fond memories. I want my expressions of life to give you great hope for the future and the never-ending possibilities in life.Paul

Destination's never the place of victory, it's found in the journey!Faith contains power to birth the supernatural. It raises you above all circumstance to believe in what is not yet seen. The path walked is paved by faith. Maybe you're at a place where you've been knocked down by storm after storm, and you're struggling to get back up. Situations you believed God to change have worsened. This hour your weakness shall know God's strength. What appears as your defeat and end births forth victory and a new beginning. Circumstances appeared as defeat and the end for Jesus as he climbed the hill to Calvary. In reality, it was his greatest victory and a new beginning for all. Without death, there'd be no resurrection. The same is true in our walk. Peter walked on water till his focus changed from Jesus to circumstance. Yet remember that Jesus lifted him up before he sank. As he shall do for you.All is not as it appears. You only need regain focus on whom your faith rests. May the obstacles overcome, lessons learned, and inspirational teachings throughout my shared journey grant birth within you to revelation of faith to believe in what is not yet seen and the strength to perseverance beyond circumstance unto victory."For we walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7, KJV).

"Old English Sheepdogs are teenagers all their lives!" I was told this a little over thirty years ago when I brought my first sheepie into our home. By watching their funny comical ways, our most recent household members-who are actually named Lizzie and Lenny-made writing this book so very easy. This series demonstrates how simple but cute this breed can be. Since these doggies are children at heart, these books are written to give back the lessons and love our little ones can learn from this breed!Lizzie and LennyBobtail Series

  • - Depression, abuse, forgiveness, love, and more can all be fixed by Jesus in your life.
    av Johnny R Sauceda
    287

Problem Solving with Jesus is a book full of truth that would and can help many people. We all have gone through many things in our lives and wished that it never happened. But we cannot change the past, but we can do something about the future. You see, we have the power to change ourselves, and in doing so, we can live better lives. This book has many things that I have gone through in life, and many things that I have seen others go through. Also, it has many truths that Jesus can show you and take you out of the negative and put you into the positive. Just by reading and understanding what the Lord Jesus can do for you is the best thing for you and those around you. I know that if you have not gone through something, then you have seen and/or know someone that has or is going through something that is not good. We all have heard of others going through sad situations and wish we could help them. But we seem to be powerless because we do not know what to do.Well, we have forgotten that knowing the past of self and others we can change it and make it better by not doing the same things over again. Also, we can help others that are going through bad times by just receiving Jesus into our lives. Having Jesus can give us strength and so much more to better our lives. I have gone through so much, and if I knew Jesus and/or had listened to God to begin with, I would not have gone through so much pain.

If we trust in God to keep persevering, we can have victory and be set free. James 1:12, Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

Living on This Side of the Timeline is a book about faith, love, and the spiritual growth we all seek as we move through this life that God so graciously gave each one of us. Jesus is the true way and at the center of our timeline. Many aspects of our lives deal with these thoughts, as well as our laughter, tears of joy, and certainly our sorrows. This book dabbles in all of those emotions, including some of the author’s pun-strewn narratives. This is a book about us and our walk on this side of the timeline.

As Christians, we need to be aware that we are in spiritual warfare every day. This is what Get Right Church is about. The book is written with hopes that the reader can see the many missed opportunities that God places before us daily to be blessing to others and opportunities to witness and attest to His greatness. It also allows the reader to see through the experiences of others what should be our reasonable service. It is our duty to be strong for the weak and share the gospel of Christ correctly.Too often, we as Christians negate the need for true spiritual and religious revivals in our personal lives. Many times the purpose of a revival is not clearly understood by Christians. Revivals are spiritual feastings on God's word. The duty of a Christian is to lead others to Christ through witnessing, not in words only, but through lifestyle.Get Right Church shares the trials, tribulations, and victories of believers as they continue to grow in the true knowledge, understanding, and wisdom of God. This growth is not just for their lives but to share freely while leading others to Christ as ambassadors. Get Right Church is about a lifestyle. Second Timothy 2:15-16 and 3:16-17 gives directions to study and control our speech with confirmation of the author of the Holy Bible and the reason to study. Romans 12:1-2 gives us directions how to live in this world and honor God, which is our reasonable service. These experiences are shared to help others see that we can live a victorious lifestyle in Christ while giving glory and honor to God through our daily lives. Start your personal revival with Christ, and allow others to see him in you, which is your reasonable service to God.

  • - Where Faith Confronts Depression
    av D M Harrington
    307

I want the world to see my insides like a badge, like a statement saying "" this is how bad it really is.Are you a Christian who battles depression? Have you wondered why your faith isn't meeting your needs? D.M. Harrington understands the crushing weight of depression. When reality didn't align with the deep-rooted beliefs she held since childhood, D.M. began asking tough questions of her faith. By confronting spiritual questions that didn't have easy answers, God revealed the shackles that bound her to the dark.Light in a Dark Place breaks down our own desperate questions of faith into digestible nuggets, which show how to make a faith walk practical. Much of our pain is our shredded hands refusing to let go in an invisible tug-of-war with God. But we must let go""of our illusions about life, our irrational expectations, and our preconceptions about God. It is the only route to relief. Light in a Dark Place explores questions that plague many, including:- Why am I unable to help myself?- Why won't God fix me?- How can a good God allow bad things to happen?- Could I be the problem?- and moreWith a compassionate voice, D.M. Harrington relies on Scripture and the One who gave her answers as she crawled after the light. You are not alone in your depression. No matter how many years you have fought or how many wounds you have accumulated or how exhausted you are""there is light. You can thrive emotionally, mentally, and relationally in spite of depression. D.M. Harrington has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill but currently works as a Certified Public Accountant. As a member of American MENSA, she uses her capacity for complex thought to search the mysteries of God for help in managing major recurrent depression disorder. Ray Deaton wrote Jungle Walk for his granddaughter to help her navigate through the decision processes that we all face on a daily basis. In the poem, the hero, or protagonist, is faced with decisions from the very beginning. Why am I here? The impetus that propelled him through the initial stages was the friendly animals, which could represent friends, teachers, etc. The surroundings, although alien, provide the motivation to proceed deeper into the jungle. Forks in the road represent major decisions or possibly life-altering possibilities. As you read the poem these decisions and forks in the road could be discussed with the child, suggesting that they substitute the decisions needing to be made by our hero with actual events in the child's daily routine. Finally, the story was written in poetic form to gain and maintain the child's interest.

Words of Wisdom was proposed by the publisher as a title, and it seems appropriate as lately, I have had no trouble expounding my theories concerning politics, society, moral values, and life in general. Although this book could be considered as part 2 of my memoirs, spanning my age from thirty-five to fifty-nine, it is far more than a simple chronological statement of life incidents. No topic is safe from my scrutiny and sometimes biased point of view.I began writing this book the same day that part 1 was submitted to the publisher, but the outline was prepared during the long flight to Japan. More details were added nightly as I sat in hotel lobbies, struggling to put my thoughts onto paper. By the time we returned, twelve days later, the project was complete except for several hundred hours spent filling in the details.Within the pages, I hope that the reader will gain some expert advice from someone who has lived a full life, not without hitting a few speed bumps along the way. Hopefully, they will learn from my mistakes, especially involving alcohol and prescription drugs.Compared to my first book, which was painful and difficult to prepare, this one has been a breeze.

When the rich young ruler asked Jesus how he could obtain eternal life, Jesus told him to sell everything and give it to the poor. He went away sorrowing because he had great possessions. What if someone who was really rich actually did sell everything he owned and gave the money to the poor? Would he know how to survive without money? How would people treat him? Would he try to get a job? There are many possible outcomes. This book explores one of them. Along the way, the man encounters several interesting people who teach him important lessons including humility. In the end, he comes to a greater understanding of why Jesus told the ruler to sell everything and give the money to the poor. It wasnt about money at all. The Bible is clear in teaching that eternal life is only obtained by faith in Jesus Christ. Why then did Jesus tell the man to do what He did? Read, and you will learn.

  • - God Turns Curses Into Blessings
    av Brenda J Baldwin
    171

After high school, a coal miners daughter from a small, rural country place called Havaco, West Virginia, leaves town in hopes of finding a better life, employment, or striking it rich somehow. Her family was poor so they dreamed big. She needed a job paying enough to take care of her needs, as well as enough to send some money back home to help the family. The president of United Coal Miners Union, John Lewis, was murdered; the coal mines were shut down and the coal miners were now jobless. The family was now living off of government cheese, dried milk, and beans. She had never been away from home and she had only read about the city. Now she finds herself in a place full of strangers, huge buildings, and dual highways. She had been instructed to get in a Bible believing and teaching church so she could make friends and be safe. She gets married and, because of the betrayal of her in-laws, gets divorced. She first turns angry, then becomes bitter and has unforgiveness in her heart. She turns inward for self-gratification. Unbeknown to her, her intimate life was being recorded. This keeps her from having a normal life so she goes back to square onelooking for a Bible believing and teaching church. Thereafter, her life takes many twists and turns. What she discovers will make you shiver. This book was sabotaged seven times to cover up the truth, but the truth got out anyway. The most valuable thing in the world is the truth. One cannot have trust without the truth. Most times it is hidden behind a bunch of lies. We, as the people of God, must live by the truth or there will be no trust. The word of God is true. It lives in me. 1

  • - Never Stop Believing
    av Bill and Karen Smith
    181

This is a true story of faith, hope, and love that happened to two average people who came from small towns in Iowa, the heartland of America. God has blessed both of us with miracles, time and again, asking nothing in return except for love and reverence for Him. This is our testimony. As we look back at our lives, it often becomes clear that God intervened, at times and in ways that we did not understand. His plans for us aren't always or even very often understood, but they are always perfect, and all we have to do is believe, have faith, and trust Him.While reflecting on our lives, we decided that the story of how God had blessed us so abundantly, time and again with true miracles, had to be told. This book was born with the goal to glorify God in thankful praise for His blessings to our lives and to give hope to all those facing life's challenges every day.Never give up! God does answer prayer and we are living proof of His grace and love. Miracles do happen every day. Never stop believing.

  • av Rev Joseph Sill

This book is intended to show Jesus's deity through the signs and dialogue in the book of John. John has recorded eight signs or miracles in his Gospel. He begins with the marriage at Cana and progresses through his Gospel to the resurrection, the greatest of all the signs. These miracles in the book of John, and all the Bible for that matter, are not arbitrary but were chosen by the Holy Spirit to show that Jesus is who he says he is. John himself tells us his purpose in writing his Gospel in John 20:21: "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." This book is intended for you to look at the miracle and sayings of Jesus in John and show how they point to Jesus being the promised Messiah, the Son of God, deity incarnate.John showed who Jesus was when he said, "I am the bread of life," and proceeded to feed the five thousand with the loaves and fish. John records that he said, "I am the light of the world," and then Jesus proceeded to heal a man born blind from birth. He told Mary at the death of Lazarus, "I am the resurrection and the life," and proceeded to raise the dead. Finally, he told his disciples, "I lay my life down, and I will take it up again." Then he went to the cross, died, and was buried to rise again on the third day. And just in case there is any doubt as to his resurrection, he appears to Thomas in the upper room and to the disciples by the sea of Tiberius. It is my prayer that this book may prove who Jesus is to the minds of all who read it. That they may come to believe that Jesus is who he said he is-the Messiah, the Son of God, who died for our sins-and is raised to make it just as if we never sinned (Romans 4:25).

This book is about my testimony. I grew up attending a fundamental church out of the mainstream of other Christian churches. Many of the doctrines and views that came from its teaching caused me to be an outcast and different from my peers. When I reached the age of eighteen and became independent of my parents, I started to study the Bible and find out for myself what was in it. It's been a long road and a difficult journey, but my quest has been rewarded by the many treasures I have found hidden in its pages. Just recently, I found the ultimate treasure: bringing the Bible into focus as one picture. This picture has become predominate in my understanding of God and how He views and works with those who come to Him.

The Ark of My Leadership Experiences is a summary of seminal professional experiences in my leadership journey shared for others currently on a similar journey or may someday be on an aspirational journey to become a CEO/servant leader. Being in environments without the benefit of colleagues who held the same position and looked like me, my network became a membership of two-me and Jesus Christ. My strength, courage, encouragement, anointing has come from taking comfort in Him who I believe catapulted me to every position I have held. Every elevation came from His providential intervention. So I reference my experience through this leadership Ark. The Ark of the Covenant contained the Ten Commandments, laws given to Moses by God. The Ark of My Leadership Experiences are anchored through a cloud of witnesses that traveled before me!The Ark provides us with reassurances that in:Leadership ~ no leader should go it aloneDiscernment ~ the still, small quiet voice still leads and guides us if we be stillEndurance ~ He gives us momentum for the journey
