Welcome to the Princess Divine series. This is a series of short stories that introduce children to God, the perils of sin, the power of praying God's word, and righteous living. Common sins which plague our nation and destroy families will be explored in these series to include adultery, homosexuality, fornication, greed, lying, pride, pornography, and drug addiction. The writer was inspired to write this story from a revelation the Lord revealed to her in January 2012. God impressed upon writer's heart that if we meditate on His word, it will manifest in the natural. We do battle in the spirit realm, not in the natural. He further revealed to writer that power comes from the Word--speak the Word, think on the Word, act on the Word, said the Lord. The practice of competing in sports has been around a long time. Archaeology provides valuable information on games and athletics in the ancient world. In I Corinthians 9:2427, there is information of running a race to win and a man fighting. It concludes that the goal is to win a prize that will last forever. Man seems to enjoy competing. Perhaps boredom has a way of creating something to do. Over time, new sports and games are developed. In this day and time, commercialization will become involved as individuals strive to make money. As sports grow in popularity, rules are written and guidelines set. These regulating documents tend to expand as the sport grows in popularity. Terminology for the sport will be refined and expanded to explain the game and its rules.Sports and Spirituality is a series of devotional books. Each book relates spiritual principles and scriptures to terminology for a particular sport. Terms related to the sport are defined and then used as the central focus to develop devotional thoughts. Each book presents specific devotional thoughts related to the term being discussed. Scriptures are suggested to supplement the devotional study. Studies can be in a group format or individual. The book is written to spark interest for the sports enthusiast who wishes to increase his or her spiritual commitment. Also, it can serve as a devotional guide for those interested in sports and physical activity. It can make an excellent gift book. Everything we do in life should center on serving God, even when playing a sport. We play a sport or game for fun, but we must play the game of life for God. If we ever stop serving God, all will be lost.

Greetings!I am a family nurse practitioner with a doctorate degree in nursing. I first embarked on this journey of living and being healthy to be the best I could be in loving myself. I felt that by loving me, I was getting connected and closer to God. I no longer wanted to go through the motion of losing weight, but to reach for something more that will last a life time, physically as well as spiritually. My strength came by putting God first in my daily life. I wanted to teach others that they too can be healthier, have peace of mind and joy in their lives.I am educating my patients and others that one can lose the weight by living a healthy lifestyle. I am living proof as a diabetic, that it can be done. I have lost fifty-eight lbs.It was not easy. As we all know, nothing in life worth doing is easy. I still go back and forth, but the frequency is lesser. When I do get off track, I am aware and have the discipline in getting back on track.It takes consistency and daily discipline where your old habits are replaced by new ones. I educate my patients and others that when you change how you think, you change your direction on how you live.My patients would give me feedback that it was a continual struggle for them in keeping the pounds off. As soon as problems would surface, the weight they had lost would be erase when old eating habits (usual for comfort) would return. Many patients just gave up, feeling that this is their norm. I am teaching my patients that caring for themselves is to be proactive in the daily decisions they make in promoting their health and well-being. The journey of health is not about taking just the weight off but embarking on a life long journey in being the best they can be; mind, body, and spirit. By bringing all these three elements together, they become the complete healthy vibrant version of self. In conclusion, I realized the battle was not between myself and food but what was in my mind. I accepted the fact that how I felt about myself was a reflection of what I ate, that it begins in the mind. To change this direction, I had to change my thinking. This is where the book entitled, Food for Thought, was written to reach out to others on this life long journey of getting back to healthy living. As a practitioner in internal medicine, I have seen by helping others that thinking and eating healthy has turned their lives around not only in losing weight but also in feeling good about themselves. I have patients who are losing the weight, getting their diabetes, blood pressures, and cholesterol under control. In addition, these same patients are using less medications, having more energy, and having happier moods. He Will Provide is a collection of poems and two short stories. The poems vary from everyday life to thoughts of God. One of the stories is about the ladies in the Bible. One day I was telling my daughter about Deborah, and she said, "Wait, Deborah. I didn't know that the name Deborah would be in the Bible." So I decided to tell Deborah's and few other ladies' story. The other story is about a young lady that grew in the church but sort of lost her way. But you know God is good, and she found her way back to the Lord. It was a little scary, but she did it.

The angel Machaira has experienced the ever-warming embrace of the almighty God. Now she has sacrificed that to defend children from the evils of a fallen world, a world where pedophiles have rights and a child murderer is innocent until proven guilty. Machaira will stop at nothing to serve her own kind of penance on these rogues. Legend has it that once an angel falls from grace, they can never go back, that they are doomed to hell. That makes her a very dangerous angel. If she's going to hell regardless, why not enjoy the ride. Machaira will hunt these people down and show them every courtesy that they showed their victims, and along the way, she realizes what it means to be human.

These words I have written in Messenger of Simple Truth are written with deep love, simplicity, and truth. They are from my heart of personal experiences and pain in life, the highs and lows and everything in between.My hope is that these poems will point you the reader to the Living Word Jesus Christ. "Michael was just fifteen years old when he started dieting. He wasn't fat, he wasn't thin either. But he was a strong minded teenager who was determined to change his own life in a very dramatic way. Michael's obsession with his appearance drew him into a death struggle with Bulimia Nervosa. Sherry and I believed that there was no hope for Michael. We knew that we were losing our youngest son, but at the height of our desperation, God came and touched our lives in a very powerful way. When tragedy enters your life and you feel that you have no hope, don't be afraid. The Lord is close to those who call upon Him. He is only a prayer away, and when He comes, He reveals Himself as the one true God, the Almighty".

We never know what tomorrow will bring us whether with family, financial, health, or other issues. An annual medical checkup for Linda at the age of nearly sixty-two in December 2006 resulted in the worst words you would want to hear, "you have cancer." Subsequent medical tests and oncologist evaluations resulted in the next worst words to hear, "you have myelodysplastic syndrome cancer and your 'pink-slip' gives you twenty-four to thirty-six months to live." And these words were followed by "you need to get your affairs in order." Discussions with the doctor indicated they would keep her as comfortable as possible through treatments by chemotherapy, blood transfusions, shots of procrit and neupogen, as well as, pain and other comforting medicines. What do you do with this death sentence given to you by the medical profession when you feel you are in the prime of your life and have so much to look forward to in the future? Do you give up and go along with the doctors recommendations? Or do you put on the armor of God and fight?Linda chose to fight armed with God's sword of the spirit, breastplate of righteousness, loins girded with truth, and sandals wrapped with the hope of peace. The next three years were no cake-walk, but many times felt like hell-on-earth. This is the story and diary record of how she won with her faithfulness to God and His faithfulness to her.We hope you can gain strength from the story of the fight that "only God could win."

I wrote The Modern Version Incursion because there is a need in the church for Christians to see plainly that the modern versions of the Bible are counterfeits. God wrote one Bible, not three hundred! The Bible tells us plainly that God's word is forever settled in heaven, as Psalm 119:89 teaches. This means the word of God is established and firm in heaven.The modern versions attack the cardinal doctrines of the Christian faith and especially attack the Lord Jesus Christ. The modern versions are based on the second-century Gnostic beliefs that were prevalent in Alexandria, Egypt. They disbelieved that Jesus was the Son of God and that He was not the incarnation of deity.What is really unhealthy is when the pastor of a church pushes these counterfeits and convinces their congregation that they are the most accurate. I sincerely desire Christians to look at their modern version and then compare it with the King James Bible and ask the question, why is theirs so different?We will look at 747 verses, which should be more than enough to convince even the skeptic. Christians will search out a neighborhood to live in, check out a mutual fund or stock, research a car before they buy; but when it comes to Bibles, they couldn't care less what they use. It shows how Christian commitment is lacking, and the weakness of modern Christianity attests to that fact. If one uses a counterfeit, they will be weak in their walk. Since the 1901 ASV came out, the church has become so weak it needs to be put on life support. When you start making the comparisons in this book, you will see that Christianity has been sold a bill of goods.

Antonio H. Adad, or "Tito" to close friends and family, devoted his whole corporate life to only one company: S.C. Johnson & Son (SCJ), a family-owned company based in Racine, Wisconsin. SCJ is renowned as a world leader in the area of industrial and household cleaning and specialty chemicals with brands such as Raid insecticide, Off! insect repellant, Glade air freshener, Toilet Duck, Mr. Muscle all-purpose leaner, and Pledge furniture polish. Throughout his thirty-six years at SCJ, Tito distinguished himself by constantly achieving record market shares, sales revenues, and profits that consistently met or exceeded targets across different departments, various divisions, multiple subsidiaries, and ultimately the Asia-Pacific region, earning him dozens of coveted Directors Awards and successive promotions in rank and responsibility.Armed with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines, the youthful Tito started his stellar career in SCJ as a salesman for the Philippine subsidiary in 1959. Life Behind the Train Station is a fictional novel about a poor family with Native American and European ancestry. The story is based on life in North Carolina during the 1940's and early 1950's. Prejudices towards the poor and the paper genocide of the Native American people are muted tones of the story.The story concerns the daily life of the Lister family. Much of the story is told through the eyes of one of the young Lister girls. It highlights their challenges as they navigate life through a world that is not always accepting of people of a different background or race. Detailed are the hardships, struggles, joys, and acts of evil faced by this family. Complications of family dynamics add to the provocations that the Lister family must accept or overcome.Featured are the people that God places in their lives that teach them of God's love, redemption and mercy. These good people help the Lister family learn how to live Christian lives. They lead by example, accepting the Lister family as they are and showing them that all strangers are not bad. The Lister family learns to trust the goodness in others. Through God's grace, this family learns that although there are many dark sides to life, there is also much goodness in the world. Through difficult times, they learn to look to God for guidance. They have their Christian friends to support them through life's hardships and challenges. The family learns to have hope for a better life.

From Out of darkness into His Marvelous Light is my bout with a health issue, which was misdiagnosed as a mental illness. My life was bleak during this time, and things were dark for me. That darkness lingered for quite some time, but one day, it became clear and I was myself again. In an instance God showed up and I was in his marvelous light. I was set free!During my seven years of unemployment, the challenges I faced were astronomical. Having no income made life very hard. I had to trust and believe that God would be there to see me through it all. I maintained my faith, and God did see me through this very dark part of my life. It is true that God will be with you and see you through anything and he is always on time. God truly makes a difference.

The powers of darkness again victimized the late great Reverend Dr. Martin King Jr. and Kim was a witness. A midnight phone call from parents in Virginia to Germany alerts a military man that his four-year-old son, their grandson, has been driven from California and abandoned by his mother. The military man sensed that his marriage has broken down files for divorce and custody only to be told that he cannot get custody of his son because of his military service and that his son has to be torn from his grandparents and returned to the mother who abandoned him. Twelve years later, after a twenty-year military commitment, that military man files for custody again this time in Mississippi from Alaska where he is disrespected and abused financially by a court system that favors custody to go to the mother despite of many shortcomings by that mother. After winning custody the military man discovers that planted in the mind of his son is one last mental entanglement designed to deny him a lasting relationship with his father.

I'm encouraging all to be uplifted and to build a stronger relationship and communication with the Lord. My prayer is that all would remove negative energy and all those folks, whether it's family or friends, who are causing you not to be able to reach your full potential and allow you to know your worth. May you all put God first in your life. Love yourself and you will then be able to reap all the blessings you are entitled to. I'm encouraging all to stop looking for others to make you feel complete. Stop being a hater and jealous of others. Build confidence within yourself.Praying that all are able to release those years of hidden pain that you have kept a secret within yourself for fear of guilt, shame, and embarrassment. Looking deep within yourself and being able to forgive all past hurts that have been caused. Forgiving the offender being able to release the past in order for you to embrace a blessed and beautiful future. Being able to be happy for others when its their season and not yours to be blessed. To have more empathy for someone else and not be self-absorbed.God bless you all who supported me on this journey, and I pray that you have been blessed in some way. I believe no one wants to go through a life like this, but I did. One day my life started flashing before me. And even though my parents struggled through this life with us, I treasure every moment we went through. I love them so! This is a story that truly happened. My dad served in the USA Air Force/Army/and National Guard. And every time he came back to us, he worked while he was at home. He moved us a lot across Texas, depending where he served. He tried his best to keep us together and avoid being noticed of our conditions, and being a boy through all of that time, I was not told anything of my dad. It was just that we went through very hard times, and that's what I never wanted to think. I am not perfect, just one who has been through so much, till now. I still have faith in Jesus Christ. I flew out of a car, saw a UFO, got beaten up, had out-of-body experiences, run over by a car, cancer survivor, suffered a heart attack, and am still here.
