When I began writing this book (October 2010), I resided in the northeastern part of North Carolina, in Barco, a big city approximately forty-eight miles west on Highway US 158 of the Outer Banks (OBX), NC. I have since than moved (March 2012) to Harlem, GA, approximately eight miles on Highway US 78 west of Fort Gordon, GA, where I reunited and remarried my spouse Dorothy on September 15, 2012.I'm currently waiting to hear from the presidential pardon attorney's decision to be made on my tireless effort in exonerating my wrongful conviction as a result of the miscarriage of justice and/or prosecutorial misconduct malicious act against me. I also plan to continue in pursuing my masters of science in criminal justice with Troy University, for which I have already received a Certificate of Acceptance.Hopefully, those studies will help me to better understand the American jurisprudence as it relates to our "We the People" Constitution rights.God be the glory!

God loves us and desires to have a close, personal relationship with each one of us, not just a select few.Loved is an extended dialogue between an individual, someone like any one of us, and God. Through emails and texts, you get to hear what God has to say about topics that are relevant to all us, including healing our wounds, grace, forgiveness, trust, and being our true selves. As you read this book and immerse yourself in the dialogue, you become part of the conversation and begin to understand the enormity of God's love. He is not far away or out there somewhere. He is right here, right now, and is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.We can communicate with the Lord just as readily and easily as we do with other loved ones and friends. We don't have to wait for an emergency to reach out to Him and He doesn't want to be just a distant observer. On the contrary, God loves to hear from us anytime and wants to be included in all aspects of our lives.Having an intimate relationship with the Lord is for everyone and we're all invited to experience the vastness of His love. It's not complicated or hard; all we need to do is say yes to His invitation. Every time we share ourselves with the Lord, we give Him a new opportunity to show us the depth and breadth of His love. The more open we are and the more we communicate with the Lord, the more we will feel His presence in our lives. It's that easy.

The book is a topical commentary and Bible reference based on the Scriptures from the Old and New Testaments. After the introduction, the first section explains the Messiah’s purpose and focuses on the foundations for salvation through the Messiah. The second section focuses on emotional topics and how they affect your relationship with the Messiah. The root of many emotional issues is caused by bitterness, so the causes of bitterness and forgiveness are explained in simple terms easily understood by the reader and how they affect salvation. Next the reader explores love, compassion mercy, pride and humility and how they affect their relationship with God. Digging deeper into the emotional issues the reader learns God’s definition for lust and purity of heart. The next section deals with the intangible issues in the reader’s life. This includes faith, sanctification, repentance and the importance of total surrender to God. The holy Spirit is explained in detail with an emphasis on His purpose for you. Section four covers some of the symbolism in the Bible and tries to help the reader see things from the cultural view of Jesus time. The desire is to help the reader understand how symbolism points to salvation and the importance of events symbolically. Section five covers almost all the parables of Jesus found in the Gospels. The parables are grouped into broad categories including: “The Kingdom of God,” “Service and Obedience,” “Prayer,” “Humility,” “God’s Love,” “Jesus Return,” and “God’s Values.” The parables are explained in detail using the cultural setting of Jesus time.Section six is a brief overview of biblical history and Israel’s history. The next section begins with a discussion about the rapture at Christ’s second coming. The various points of view are discussed. Then the anti–Christ and False Prophet are explained. Revelation is covered extensively, but not by analyzing the symbolism. The first article is “Don’t fear the book of Revelation,” followed by “Revelation: The real Message,” These articles explain the purpose and message for Revelation and try to remove the fear factor that most people feel. The final section is designed to challenge your thinking and bring you closer to God.

The Legend of the Secret Flowers is a true story that took place in Memphis, Tennessee, once upon a time.It was just an ordinary day when Mama decided that the time was right to plant her bulbs in the garden. As with every other day, Mama enlisted the help of her four-year-old son to become her “special helper,” as she called him. This was no average assignment, but it was one that was to be esteemed and, of course, always followed by the reward of a delicious snack coupled with quality time.By virtue of the hidden nature of freshly planted bulbs, Mama’s special helper could not grasp why he could not see the flowers after all of his striving to bury the bulbs. It was then that Mama created the mystique of the secret flowers and told the boy how they were becoming something new in God’s rich soil. The Legend of the Secret Flowers became a teaching tool that reinforced several simple scriptural precepts, specifically the notion that God is always working on us, even when we cannot see the outcome. The boy grew taller but departed neither from the legend nor the lessons of the secret flowers that his mama told to him that one ordinary day. And Mama hid deep in her heart all the words God gave her as well. She remembered those secret flowers and the day with the four-year-old boy for many years to come but most especially in springtime when the flowers were in bloom.

"IT IS FINISHED." Our Lord Jesus spoke these words on the Cross not long before His death. Indeed, the promise of redemption that was given so long ago was finally fulfilled. Now all who would call upon the name of Jesus would be saved forevermore. Entering the rest of God was once again a reality. No more striving. No more toiling. In body, soul, and spirit, we could experience the presence and power of God. Yet how many Christians truly realize the fullness of their salvation? How many continue to live in fear, depression, condemnation, and lack? How many understand what was finished and who they truly are in Christ Jesus? Through the words in this devotional, you will find a beautiful unfolding of truth. You will come to understand what was God's heart and plan for you from the beginning, what really happened in the Garden of Eden, and who you truly are because of what Christ Jesus accomplished on the Cross. And as you read and grow each day in experiencing His love for you, you will come to know a joy and peace and victory beyond what you have even imagined. Truly, IT IS FINISHED."

  • - Beyond the Sugared Hills
    av Diane Prebula
    191

Praise for God's creation rings like timeless bells, blows like a train from yesterday's valley announcing the joy of His rescue, relief, and plan-hope and a future beyond our imagination. Simple visions of His majesty and compassion flash through the pages of Wild Horses Run-Beyond the Sugared Hills as in the following selection from the poem, "Appaloosa Sky": You have blown lavender light on the hills. The afternoon is sinking into dusk, soaking into the ground of our breath . . .The appaloosa sky dapples with a thousand small clouds. They begin to merge as they drift over the hills. Hopebegins to rise within-it dapples our countenance. This collection of poems praises the Lord of all creation for speaking to and through us. He does this in spite of our sin and frailty. Consider the following excerpt from the poem, "The Invitation": Everything's in flux, and I'm fading with age as our culture draws the breath of its final images, its concluding sentences. This ending may drag on for years or decades; we cry for rescue with eyes of faith. You infuse us with a scent of home. We've welcomed everyone to join us-so many choose to decline. The pilgrimage revealed on these pages reflects the pain and suffering we all experience in this fallen world, especially in these postmodern days. God's people cry, "Come, Lord Jesus!" The following lines from the poem, "Seabird Passing" praise Him: It's You, Lord; You absorb A spout of tears as I press into the chest of Your Spirit. You touch me with a breath of Your boundless beauty.Ponder these verses from the poem, "Piano Solos":You interpret the music and dance to color us through winds by the ocean. You draw us through forests and over hills. But again, You take us back to Your lost cities, where we stumble through the brown haze; we learn to breathe through the back side of everything, including ourselves.

Have you ever wondered what is going on in this world we live in and have been born into with its wars, rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes? Why are things the way they are and is there a purpose to it all? Most of us have, perhaps even on a sunny beautiful day!Living in a Fallen World endeavors to provide some answers as to why it is this way as well as how we get along and survive in it while pointing to God as creator, refuge, and strength. And it will show that God uses this fallen world to teach us to overcome it, which puts on spiritual muscle, enabling us to do this while preparing us for heaven and eternity.Written in a direct style, it lays out why and how the world got this way, what the cure is, and what the outcome will be as well as where our place is in the drama of life. Most importantly, it will present a vital decision that all must make.Based on God's Word, the Bible, it shows that God has in fact let us know what's going on and why, as well as what the outcome will be. This commentary will present biblical answers and insights and be an encouragement to your walk of faith.

Duke Rodgers is an incredible young man with a miraculous story of perseverance, determination, and faith. Duke reveals the struggles endured by a person with a Traumatic Brain Injury and how the laws designed to protect and assist TBI survivors can be ignored by the very institutions that should have a willingness to educate and train. As Duke chronicles his life from the time of the injury through his struggles to graduate from the University of Missouri, the reader is introduced to a young man of great promise and potential whose life was changed on a Missouri highway when he was severely injured and, by all medical probabilities, should have died. Duke's miraculous story is one of inspiration and hope to all people who sometimes struggle and question if God is there. His story is proof of the miraculous healing power of God and how God's grace, mercy, and love can overcome even the most doubting expectations of man. As you read Duke s story, I hope you are moved to have more compassion and understanding for those who suffer a life altering disability, but most importantly, I hope Duke's story challenges each reader to come to a saving knowledge in our Savior Jesus Christ.Ronald D. • - Jesus Revealed
    av Dr Reverend Maria Goldstein

"Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son''s name, if thou canst tell?" (Proverbs 30:4). The answer to this riddle can be found in the revelation contained within this book. The Son''s identity, once concealed in the divine letters of the Hebrew alphabet... is now revealed! Yeshua said, "Before Abraham was, I am." Messiah is also known as the Poretz, (the one who will break through). He was present from the beginning of time for the salvation of the world! Each Hebrew letter points to Jesus/Yeshua as the Messiah to all the nations of the world. The mystery of Messiah Yeshua was once hidden in the divine Hebrew letters and the Torah. This breakthrough information has been revealed for such a time as this. Yeshua said, "Repent for the Kingdom of God is near! "This book is a glimpse of Yeshua in the Hebrew Alpha-Bet. Yeshua said, "In the volume of the book it is written of me". You are about to get a glimpse of Yeshua revealed in the Hebrew. For those not fluent in Hebrew, it is my hope that this book will pique your interest in learning our holy language. As a Jewish Rabbi and a believer in Yeshua the Messiah, I highly recommend Mystery of the Hebrew Letters to connect you to the Jewishness of Yeshua/Jesus. The Bible is a Jewish book from cover to cover and only in studying the Bible in Hebrew, its original language, will you begin to understand the richness of the Word of Elohim. As Christians, it''s time to reconnect to the Jewish Roots of our faith."  - Rabbi Deborah Brandt - Deborah''s Messianic Ministries-Beit Midrash Tefillah Hallel Congregation and Vice President and Instructor at The Judaic Studies Institute and University.  "Dr. Maria Goldstein, THANK YOU for writing this incredible book. As a Hebrew Christian for 46 years, I have never read anything like this! It solves the mystery of the Hebrew alphabet and reveals Yeshua/Jesus as the Son of God. Many of my questions have finally been answered by this book, which I highly and enthusiastically recommend!" -Pastor Meyer Stahl- Southern New Mexico Church of God, author, founder, producer, TV and radio host of What is Truth?

This manuscript covers more than forty years of seeking God with a few steps forward and then interludes of many steps backward. Feelings of failure run rampant but the genuine heartfelt search for God's will is always there. It is the author's sincere desire that relaying these honest encounters and real emotions will help at least one person in their quest of pleasing and serving God.

  • - God's Manifest Presence in the World Today: A Biblical-Theological Study of Gods Interaction with Man
    av Dr Douglas G Sullivan
    181

God's holy presence may have eluded you . . . but He truly wants for you to experience his glory. Christ in You . . . God's Manifest Presence in the World Today offers a comprehensive study of God's interaction with mankind through the ages. Dr. Sullivan's ability to express biblical-theology in creative and insightful ways is refreshing. Doug skillfully traces God's glorious presence through the Bible and shows how our loving Father reveals Himself to ordinary people, impacting their lives, and affecting others around them and even the places where these encounters occur. He desires that all believers powerfully embrace the holy presence of the Father in a personal and life-changing encounter just as the patriarchs of old experienced. Believers in our post-modern culture must resist contentment with stories and memories of past relationships with God and intentionally press forward into His manifest presence which empowers Christians to make a difference right where God places them . . . in the workplace, marketplace, and communities where we live our lives. He examines the biblical foundation for developing the necessary understanding of the true incarnational ministry impact of spirit-filled Christians in marketplace outreaches, and he provides hope for believers in the world today by showing that as they develop a true relationship with the LORD, God's revealed glory in them also transforms individuals in their communities. People find the evidence of God's manifest presence in relationships. God connects individually with humans and then impacts His people through these personal interactions. Understand God's presence as you have never understood it before. Christ in You . . . God's Manifest Presence in the World Today facilitates incarnational transformation in your life as you allow the holy presence of the Father to impact you as the power of the Holy Spirit changes you just like Abraham, Moses, David, Paul, and countless others.

Life is not a trip. Life is a journey. A trip is a short sprint, but a journey is a marathon race. This book will help you discover the very distinct difference between the two. Three roads. Three narrow roads. Each road helping to keep one man on the right road-the road that leads to eternal life. Some say that roads are meant to be traveled, but the truth of the matter is that some roads are meant to be avoided. In Matthew 7:13-14, Jesus declared, "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."Ups. Downs. Rights. Wrongs. Choices. Decisions. Everywhere we go, everywhere we look, everywhere we travel, there is always a decision that needs to be made. When we make the right choice, there is a reward. When we make the wrong choice, there is a consequence or a price to pay. While traveling this narrow road, there will be failures and deterrents, but we must continue to travel in the right direction. Changing our direction of travel ultimately leads to death and defeat. You will discover that the greatest part of traveling this narrow road is the fact that it will give you testimonials to share with others to help them along their way. You may even get a sermon to preach! Let's walk with Dr. King, as he explores this narrow road experience, to see where it leads. At the end of the day, the Lord expects all of us to choose him.

  • - My Life in Poems

As a single parent of three, I have had an extraordinary life. But even so I’ve had my share of heartbreaks. And I’ve come to know people who have experienced extreme highs and lows in their lives as well. With their blessings, I have told their stories so as to give them comfort and help them to heal and move on. I personally have always believed that no matter how tough things get, to succeed, it’s important to find the positive among the negative in life. It may not always be easy . . . but it is possible. These poems are my positives. Some relate overwhelming pain and sadness . . . while others express the most joyous moments in my life. I relate how anger can cripple as well as empower. It’s all in the way you perceive it. Writing has served as an outlet for my deepest felt emotions . . . some good, some bad . . . and at times the best therapy. But I also know that without Jehovah God in my life to strengthen and guide my very steps, I may have remained lost. I am forever grateful for his unending love and direction.

This book was created with several goals in mind. It is intended for use by new and current pastors to provide ideas for sermons, messages and prayers. It can also serve as a discussion stimulator for Sunday school classes, study groups and book clubs. The messages are often coordinated with special seasons and liturgical occasions.

Everyone has a journey to go through in this life. On my journey I had specific questions about certain topics discussed in (My Psalms) are concerning: Spirituality, Haiti, Enemies, Family, Haters, Doubters, Thankfulness and Blessings. Most of my deep thoughts are about God. Most of the language is written in English and Haitian Creole. If you're interested in learning either language, then start reading. This author started writing poetry at a church auditorium. It was for an event organized by the Youth Group in that specific church. After the poem was recited for the audience and the event was over; the author received a lot of positive feedback. So, the author continued poetry as the years went by. This time it was for different varieties of events. These poems speak about different topics on the journey of life. They are mostly about God. The poems are written in English and Haitian Creole. For example, some of the author's famous poems are: "Why Am I Angry At The Lord?" "Problems" "Teenage Tribulation" "God, Can You Hear Me?" "Sin Gives A Bad Smell" "Quit Wasting Your Life" "Home Will Always Be Home" Who Is Your Coach?" and "Blessings Over Here"
