This book is the result of two friends sharing with each other the sayings our mothers and mother figures had used to encourage, discourage, comfort, and guide us. Although we were reared in two different states, Florida and Michigan, we found that the sayings were the same or similar.We discovered we could search the scriptures and find a biblical meaning for the advice that Momma gave. Although our moms might not have been aware of it, they were instilling biblical principles in us by using these sayings.After many shared sayings and much laughter, the Lord blessed Carolyn with an idea, and she graciously shared it with Sharon. We pray that each reader has had someone in their life who has shared one of these sayings with them, and if not, we hope you can enjoy them as you read them for the first time. We hope you enjoy them and reflect on them and that they leave an imprint on your heart.It is our hope you will start a dialogue with your family. Ultimately it is our desire that this book will cause you to search the scriptures for yourself. And if nothing else, now you have a better understanding of what "Momma Said."Enjoy!

Grace Came in the Mourning came to life through the grief of a young newly found widow who, in the midst of her darkness, God revealed himself to her in such a great and mighty way that He lifted her out of the pit of despair and saved her soul. God inspired her to share her life story leading up to the traumatic sudden loss of her sweet, loving husband to the moment God poured an abundance of grace all over her.

Although different, he has support from his family.He finds there is more to his chosen career than he realizes. He also finds there are choices to make, some easy and some difficult.The book conveys how we should support our children and the career choices they make. We as parents and grandparents sometimes want our children to follow a career path we think is in their best interest, forgetting they are individuals and happiness is as important as success.

Praise God I was born and raised in a place and time which my extended family had little. There was never enough food, and clothing was sparse. I grew up without a father, though notwithstanding, having many females in the family, there were always men around. In this continual scenario, I was able to see what sin really is and how it takes advantage of the deceived, eventually taking their lives.I completed an online seminary course and improved my knowledge of God's Word. I held church services in my home weekly, for over ten years. I have led many people to Christ and counseled them concerning how the deceiver was trying to rob them. I pray that God remembers that I shared the love he shares with me.

He threw the rope over the branch and made a loop at the other end. He put one Harness boot in the loop. Holding the rope, he swung back and forth for a minute.
