About age seventy-four, living in Dallas, Texas, Marcia joined a local church active in missions. After taking a course on missions, she joined two mission trips: Africa and Kazakhstan. Sharing her adventures through missions and extensive European travels may serve to open your eyes as they did hers. Back home, Marcia captured her memories on canvas and chronicled them in her diary. The powerful, holy God was there with Marcia every step of the way.Eventually, Marcia developed a keen interest in national politics and soon became even more disillusioned with the liberal media spewing out nothing but lies that grew bigger, more frequent, and more detrimental over the years. This book compares today's political climate with a partial view of American history. The annals of ancient history draw a picture of nefarious men seeking power, total control of a society through division, violence, changing the language, and political correctness gone amuck, all waiting for America to crash and burn.Changing the course of history is paramount to reaching the decisive final goal. Who knows? This book could be among the last historical accounts. Since history does indeed repeat itself, history must necessarily be destroyed. Keep the populace as ignorant and misinformed as possible--if necessary, by force. The formula has never changed throughout the annals of history, multimillions losing their lives as a result.Slavery has existed since the beginning of recorded history dating back to Ur over four thousand years ago. The city of Ur in Mesopotamia was unearthed in the early 1900s. This was the city God called Abraham to leave and to go to Harran. The detestable practice of slavery existed in Ur and still exists today. Human trafficking, drug addiction--all alive and well. As slaves to an evil cause, the BLM gang will not see past their nose. Ignorance is foolish and dangerous. Socialism, the final divisive step to communism, has been forced down the throats of our children and uninformed adults for years. This story addresses CRT, woke, atrocities of the Biden Administration, and the catastrophe on our southern border.I live in Texas; I see the truth with my own eyes. You only know what you know. Keep learning what you do not know because there is nothing new under the sun.

Those buildings are going to come down!"Panic takes over the group, and they join others in the street, running for shelter against the falling buildings. Every woman (and perhaps every man) longs to be loved, to be tenaciously pursued by someone who simply will not give up until they have owned the other's heart. We need to know that this love is unconditional and will not become disillusioned or lose its intensity. We need the security of forever.Have you ever found yourself in a spiritual pit, feeling lost, unloved, unlovable, and unsure of just who you are?If you long for a passionate love relationship that you can hang your identity on forever; if you have never understood that the entire Bible from cover to cover is a love story of God's relentless pursuit of you; if you need to know that you have a covenant partner whose love for you has no limits; if you long for a solid, stable place to throw down an anchor for your soul, this is where your yearnings will at long last be satiated. You will never be the same.

Have you ever wondered how God speaks to us? This book will reveal one of the ways he speaks to us in his word from the Bible. I have learned how to hear from God through the word and by his Holy Spirit, but I have always believed that the Holy Spirit speaks the word to us when he teaches us. You have to know the word of God to hear the voice of the Shephard. Since the Word is a sharp, two-edged sword, it will reveal the spiritual word against your fleshly knowledge and rightfully divide it, leaving you to decide what you will choose to do and follow. The Message was created by using the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit inspired me to share it with the world. The Holy Spirit speaks and teaches us from the Word of God, and it changes and renews our minds to a new way of thinking. The Word changes our lives if we choose to do it and not just read it. The Holy Spirit is, in fact, our greatest teacher; and only he can reveal all truth to you. I hope The Message encourages you to spend time in his presence and in his Word.

Rhymes for Doing Time provides a unique opportunity to use real-life situations that come up every day in prison or upon release--to help a prisoner develop a closer walk with God and to make their time easier, knowing that they may be just an inmate to the guards or even to the world, but they are or can become a child of the Most High God!The book has a page for every day and is formatted so that it describes a situation that happened to a prisoner, describing how he or she reacted to different situations that came up. Then it shows a situation that happened to a person or persons in the Bible, and then it draws a practical or a spiritual application between the two.It gives people a chance to realize that the Bible is living and practical, and it shows them that the same God back in Bible times hasn't changed one bit!The book also has inspirational poems that were written by the author to uplift his friends. They are perfect for prisoners to send to their families in cards and letters for everything from birthdays to holidays.

By reading through the entire Bible, anyone can begin to see the consistent influence the first three chapters of Genesis have on the rest of the Bible. These three chapters begin the great doctrines of creation, grace, the virgin birth, marriage, angels, human free will, humans created in the image of God, the existence of evil, and prophecies fulfilled in the life of Jesus. Instead of a scientific debate, Dr. Ted Beam offers solid scholarship with logical explanations to answer that all-important question, "So what?" He answers that question over and over again as he takes us deeper and deeper into the beauty and the mystery of the garden of Eden.

As a pastor, I have seen that most believers have a strong desire to hear from the Lord, but many struggle in discerning His voice. I am certain that the most direct way that God communicates with us is through Scripture, yet many who seek to hear the Lord get discouraged with Bible reading. Ironically, this is the flaw in most devotional books. Readers hear the author's thoughts, which occasionally have little connection with the verse pasted at the top of the page. What is needed is a devotional guide that gives an example of how to listen for God's voice through a structured Bible reading plan. In 2018, I was counseling with a young man who was considering abandoning the Christian faith. I asked him if he was reading the Bible daily, and he stated that he was but that he did not get much from it. I gave him a specific challenge--continue reading the Bible daily, but text me a verse or two that spoke to him directly. He agreed, and together we began sharing daily verses with each other. Over time, we began to share not only the verses but what exactly the Lord said through those verses. Within two months, this young man renewed his commitment to Christ, and within six months, he became one of our young adult Bible teachers. Chairside Chats with God was birthed from these texts where I shared what God was saying to me through my daily Bible reading. These devotionals are built around the One Year Bible reading plan, but they could easily be altered to fit with any year-long Bible-reading schedule. This devotional is not intended as a substitute for reading Scripture. It is intended to show how God will speak by listening intently for His voice in His Written Word. I am confident that God will use this guide to help any believer grow in faith as he or she walks through the Bible.
