When the barn cat Mama Yella had four kittens, her Elm Grove Farm animal friends wanted to help Mama Yella. Isabella, the cow, had an idea. A school assignment leads 11 year old Ivy to discover the family secret. She has a hidden grandmother. When her parents plan the trip for Ivy to meet this grandmother, her joy is complete.
