"One World One Standard" is the mission of the ROW Foundation, which exists to improve the lives of millions of people with epilepsy in under-resourced regions of the world. The ROW Foundation believes this injustice can be remedied if enough good people decide to make it so.
A social enterprise applies commercial strategies to improve financial, social, and environmental wellbeing. Social Enterprise 2.0 as used in this book features a for-profit company and a charitable foundation whose hybrid partnership takes the concept to the next level. "Our strategic focus is to support physicians and patients in the U.S. with beneficial products," says Scott Boyer, OWP founder, "and to use a large portion of the profits to provide resources for those living in under-resourced areas of the world.
