The five irrevocable KEYS that one must have in order to excel in whatever one do in life are: Excellence Stewardship Servanthood Faithfulness Accountability"If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets with excellence even as a Michelangelo painted, Beethoven composed great music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, ''Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well." (Martin Luther King Jr.)As the above sayings of Martin Luther King Jr. goes, whatsoever a man is called to, he or she must excel in it, and must not do it as one of those things. He or she must do it with the spirit of excellence. God wants us to excel in whatever we do as ministers of God. Every one called to work in the house of God is considered as a minister of God; whether you are called into the five-fold ministry or into the ministry of helps, and whatever you are doing as a child of God, consider that thing as a ministry. God has given them to you to do, and God wants you to excel.1 Corinthians 4:1-2 (NKJV)1 Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. Excellence is what God is expecting from each and every one of His Ministers concerning what He has entrusted into their hands. Whatever you have was given to you by God, whether work, family, business, education, ministry, etc. And He expects you to excel in them.1 Corinthians 14:12 (NKJV)12 Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel. From the above scripture, God is telling us to seek after excellence. Excellence should be our standard, nothing less, nothing more. When you seek to excel, that means you are striving to bring out that Godly nature that is in you. Every child of God has the ability to excel in whatever he or she is doing. There are five major keys to excellence, and that is what this book is all about, and the five keys are dealt with in the subsequent chapters.
