About the Book The book is about a trial conducted on anthurium cultivation using low-cost cultivation techniques and nutrient sources available locally, the plant performance and productivity during the cultivation and also economy of cultivation under such conditions. It is expected to be of use for researchers, and also farmers of developing countries who could make best use of their locally available resources for commercial cultivation of flowers.

The pond effluents need to be treated through bio pond or wastewater treatment process before releasing to the outside environment to prevent the natural coastal resources from hazardous substances coming out from shrimp farms. The way in which semi intensive shrimp farming has been practiced here is no way environment friendly and no longer to sustain. Increasing pond depth year after year will ultimately make these ponds neither suitable for aquaculture, nor land filling or other use. There may be a great threat of salinization of soil and freshwater resources, acidification of soil, accumulation of obnoxious gases into soil and ground water contamination due to increase in pond depth. If such culture system is followed very soon it will create tremendous pressure on land area, on environment, and ultimately, to the human being.

Logical reasoning about the semantics of everyday observations leads to a fairly unique low level theory about the self, its spiritual composition, as well as its biophysical background. The kinematical and dynamical framework we end up with is extremely simple and leads to a staggering simple explanation behind a huge variety of everyday observations. It opens in way Pandora's box where classifying people in the quantitative way is within reach.

Indigenous Peoples¿ cultures have adapted and evolved along with their understanding and appreciation of their world. Indigenous societies have imbued the land with meaning; every feature is named and linked to the history and spiritual lives of the people. The land and waters of the Arctic anchor indigenous societies. They provide resources upon which their cultures continue to survive. However, Indigenous peoples have inhabited the Arctic for thousands of years. The proportion indigenous people are estimated to be about 10 percent of the total population living in arctic areas. There are over 40 different ethnic groups living in the Arctic. Map with fact boxes on Indigenous peoples who are permanent participants at the Arctic Council. Arctic indigenous peoples include for example Saami in circumpolar areas of Finland, Sweden, Norway and Northwest Russia, Nenets, Khanty, Evenk and Chukchi in Russia, Aleut, Yupik and Inuit (Iñupiat) in Alaska, Inuit (Inuvialuit) in Canada and Inuit (Kalaallit) in Greenland. All of the above-mentioned countries except Iceland have indigenous peoples living within their Arctic territory.

In this book ¿Modeling and Designing of Wind Turbine Blade¿ for the location of Distt. Kangra is presented. The methodology used in this research includes the collection of meteorological data and investigation of parameters that effects the power output of the wind blade. At first the investigation of parameter and meteorological data is collected for the selected area, After the investigation of parameters, the airfoil section is done. In this research work certain airfoils have selected based on the literature review and investigate these airfoils at low Reynolds numbers. The characteristics of airfoil is examined on the basis of lift coefficient, drag coefficient, and lift to drag ratio. based on the characteristics of the airfoil, the best airfoil is selected for the modeling and designing of wind blade in q blade software. For the modeling of blade at first blade is divided into different sections for the calculation purpose. At the end, simulation of wind blade is done and a graph of coefficient of power and tip to speed ratio is obtained. The performance of the blade at different Reynolds numbers is also checked by us in q blade software.

Sequel to the global decline in supply and rise in fossil fuel prices, such imminent irresistible impacts of combustion of fossil fuel as global warming and change in climatic conditions to mention but few, a progressive shift and change in the way of harnessing energy is imminent in both developed, developing and under developed countries. Of this is the shift to eco-friendly ways that satisfy carbon neutral policy.Bioethanol as fuel substitute for mobile cars and engines that work on petroleum is one of those eco-friendly energy sources that holds promise for the future. This books is an engaging rich enchiridion and a guide to a successive production covering both production processes, economics, technologies, refining and prospects of bioethanol as a petroleum fuel substitute.Salim Abubakar¿s book attests to his commitment to the dissemination of information toward the growth and benefit of the scientific community in the same discipline.

The urbanization process has changed the land use pattern and urban structure. Urban development adds impervious surfaces, increases runoff, decreases infiltration, groundwater recharge and has negative effects on the local water quality and quantity balance. A large portion of former forest and agricultural areas have been cleared and replaced by concrete buildings, roads and drainage systems which are impermeable. The rivers flowing along the urban area are choked up with sediment from mining, housing and other development areas. The problem of silting in rivers and drains together with high rainfall intensity causes flash floods. The phenomenon of these flash floods has become more common as the surface runoff from developed urban and industrial areas has fully increased the peak discharges entering the rivers with a shortened time of detention to peak flow. This book is intended to give the understanding of the fundamental and design criteria of constructed wetland based on various guidelines from local and oversea. The performance of constructed wetland for tropical climate based on Malaysia condition has been discussed as well in this book.

Microwave Filters, Antennas and Filtennas For 5G summaries the design, simulation, fabrication and measurement of efficient and compact RF filters, antennas and filtering antennas (filtennas) for 5G transceivers. Where possible pictures of real devices have been used to illustrate the theory. Drawing from the editors¿ vast experience in linear and nonlinear RF applications and of being at the forefront of 5G systems, this book also aims to discuss and review the recent developments and challenges in the design techniques of reconfigurable filters and antennas, as well as their integration. It is expected that the book will be useful to MSc and PhD students and will hopefully serve as a valuable tool for all RF/Microwave researchers, in academia and industry alike, to draw inspiration towards taking further innovative strides in this fast¿evolving arena. It should also provide a useful reference for RF research workers and engineers who are designing and/or specifying filters and antennas for commercial systems.
