"Strawberries" is a playful bit of erotica and ironic humor. "Kindness, Only Remembered" records the moment when the first tinge of jealousy overtakes the intellectual attempt to be easy about your lover's other lover. And "After Midnight" is about the persistence of longing for a remembered lover, a grand passion.
