The Cult Leader is about Maria, a 29-year-old woman who "sees through the pandemonium of COVID-19" and decides to follow her boyfriend around Eastern Europe in the thick of the pandemic. Disillusioned and bored with her boyfriend's hypocritical corporate BLM outlook she decides to leave him and moves to Southwest Florida to spread awareness about human trafficking for Americorps. She falls in love with an aspiring cult leader named Cash Swanson and helps him start a cult based on red pilling the masses.
