This gratitude journal was created to help foster self-esteem, mental strength, and peace in Black Americans (Freedman, Foundational Black American, Copper Colored Indigenous, & ADOS). It contains gratitude prompts in English and the Tut language. The Tut language was created by our ancestors in the 18th century in the southern states of America to communicate at a time when literacy was illegal for Black Americans. Tut is included to honor the ancestors, resilience, and ingenuity that exist within us today. This journal also contains powerful quotes from Black Americans who have transitioned or are still alive, promoting encouragement, goal achievement, success, and self-determination.Each journal page includes space to record expressions of gratitude, daily reflections, memories of positive interactions, and more.As we express gratitude in the language our ancestors created under oppression, we become the great alchemists just like them. Black Americans have resilience built into their epigenetics after being crystallized under a crucible for 500 years. We have influenced the globe ten times over with our creations in music, inventions, science, culture, food, dance, worship, and language. We are a unique group with so much to be grateful for. This book is dedicated to that legacy. Let us always be grateful and remember our ancestors, so the current of greatness stays open and ever increases.Practicing gratitude has been scientifically linked to improved self-esteem and mental strength. Research has shown gratitude not only reduces stress, but it may also play a significant role in overcoming trauma. A 2006 study published in Behavior Research and Therapy found that Vietnam War veterans with higher levels of gratitude experienced lower rates of post-traumatic stress disorder. Other studies have shown that gratitude reduces social comparisons. Rather than becoming resentful toward people who have more -a major factor in reduced self-esteem-grateful people can appreciate other people's accomplishments as well as their own. This gratitude journal is designed toImprove emotional regulation.Increase positive mood.Foster hope for the future.Reduce stress and burnoutIncrease resilience.

In this groundbreaking work, the author critically examines the shortcomings of Pan-Africanism and introduces the entrusted melanism Framework, an innovative and action-oriented approach to melanated empowerment. The book explores the history and limitations of Pan-Africanism and demonstrates how its one-sided nature has led to a lack of tangible progress for Black Americans.Entrusted Melanism is a tiered, open-source template that focuses on shared goals, interests, and practical strategies for empowerment. By acknowledging and preserving the unique cultures and ethnicities of each melanated tribe, the framework encourages collaboration. It allows melanated tribes to preserve their unique cultural identities while working together when it is advantageous for them to do so. This new approach fosters autonomy, adaptability, and strategic alliances for tribes that share similar objectives and can benefit from working together. The author also presents an array of high-level strategies for empowerment, drawing on military science, to provide practical guidance for tribes seeking to procure land, resources, and opportunities for growth. Furthermore, the book emphasizes the importance of action over theory, exposing tribes that fail to contribute to collective empowerment and allowing tribes to focus on their unique goals at tribal, regional, and national levels. Entrusted Melanism represents a paradigm shift in the pursuit of melanated empowerment, offering a more effective and sustainable path towards collective growth and progress than Pan-Africanism ever has or ever will.At its core, Entrusted Melanism emphasizes the need for action rather than pie-in-the-sky theoretical plans. It highlights the importance of delineating and preserving the unique culture and ethnicity of Black Americans, while encouraging collaboration among those who share similar goals and interests.

When I was younger, I used to love watching cooking shows on TV. My favorite was always the one where the host would travel to different parts of the world and learn about the local cuisine. I loved seeing all the different ingredients and how they were used in each dish. But what I really loved was hearing about the culture behind the food. Speaking of culture. Soul food was created by Black Americans, and many of these dishes are more than just a meal. It's a way of life. It's a way of connecting with family and friends, of sharing one's culture. That's why I decided to create this cookbook. I wanted to share my love of soul food and culture with Black Americans. I also created this cookbook to share some of my favorite recipes in TUT language to help preserve our culture.TUT language was created by Black Americans (Freedman, American Indian, FBA, ADOS, DOAS, Aboriginals) during the 18th century. TUT is important to Black American culture because it is a way to communicate our history, experiences, and values. It is also a way to connect with our heritage.Gloria Mcllwain published the first book on the TUT language. This book is important because it helped to preserve culture and communication. Mcllwain's book is a valuable resource for those interested in learning more about the TUT language. Her book has been published in American Speech (journal of the American Dialect Society), which is edited and published at Duke University, and the San Jose Mercury News. Thank you for your interest in learning more about the TUT language. I hope that this cookbook will help you to connect with our culture. This book is not an exhaustive list of Black American soul food. I only included what I grew up seeing cooked or cooked myself. We have our own way of cooking our vegetables. meats, and starches. We also created many entrees and desserts. We must always remember how special we are and value our food, language, and our essence. I hope that by reading this book, you'll not only learn how to make some delicious dishes but also gain a better understanding of the culture behind them.I hope you enjoy it! Love, Kali J.N.S
