Comment tous ces éléments, par la suite, ont eu un grand impact sur les relations entre le monde musulman et celui chrétien. Comment ce monde latin, à son tour, s'est fait une image irréelle de l'islam et des conquêtes islamiques ? This is a work on the Baghdad translation movement of medieval period which is considered to have been one of the most important translation movements in the history of humanity. Its contributions to the preservation and exchange of knowledge between different cultures and civilizations are well attested.The Baghdad translation movement, which lasted more than century of time, had an impact on the intellectual and scientific process even up to the present day. In addition, this translation movement brought together scholars from different regions, religions, and different branches of knowledge to translate, discuss and share information that would improve and impact the world we live in.

Fats/oils are integrate parts of poultry diets and their price has shown an abundant increase in the last decades due to shortage of oilseeds production in Egypt as well as the competition between human and animal. Thus, utilizing the by-products of oils/fats industry would help towards decreasing feeding costs, and reducing the amount of oils/fats used in animal production industry and this need to supplementation antioxidants in diets to prevent oxidation.

Placing Emirati nationals in jobs through Emiratisation policy has become a topic that thoroughly deserves attention. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has made this policy a priority. However, due to obstacles related to organisational inefficiencies and failures of leadership in public and private sectors, the policy has not been implemented to any significant extent. The purpose of this study was to investigate the current situation of Emiratisation policy, the impact of the policy on skilled and unskilled labour, and the barriers to its implementation.

Most of orthodontic treatments involve sliding mechanics particularly during overjet reduction or space closure; the major disadvantage with the use of sliding mechanics is the frictional forces resulting from the interaction between the bracket and the guiding archwire, which affect treatment outcomes and duration in a negative way. The aim of the present in vitro study was to evaluate and compare the static and kinetic frictional forces produced by a passive self-ligating bracket and a conventional stainless steel bracket ligated with two different ligation methods under dry condition.

This is the outcome of my Master's researching, which shows Max Frisch's use of magical realism in most of his plays, and how this helped him to present and confront serious issues in reality. This sheds more light on the significance of magical realism as a genre in modern drama and how it has grown to work hand in hand with realism. This study researches into the definition and history of magical realism as a genre, and how it is applied skillfully in Max Frisch's drama.

This book reviewed forced vibrational behavior of porous nano-composite shells reinforced with graphene platelets, under radial dynamic loads. The geometry of a cylindrical shell with graded porosities and graphene platelets has been discussed in this book. Also, the type and distribution of exerted dynamic load to the shell. The material properties are dependent on the uniform, non-uniform distributions, and porosities. Description of the material properties of such nano-composites accounting for porosity and GPL content is performed via Halpin-Tsai micromechanical rule. The dynamic equations of the nano-composite shell are based on first order shell theory and a semi-analytical approach is implemented.

The aim of the study was to investigate the effectiveness of using chants/ songs and short stories in developing third primary graders' English communicative skills in Damietta governmental schools. In order to answer the questions of the study, the researcher adopted the quasi experimental approach. The participants of the study consisted of (50) pupils from Dr. Ahmed Zwail primary school in New Damietta city. The chants/songs and short stories were used with the study group in the second term of the academic school year ( 2014 ¿ 2015 ). An oral communication test of six questions with ( 30 ) items was designed to be used as a pre -posttest. The study indicated that there are statistically significant differences in mean scores of communicative skills test in favor of the post application. It also showed that there were statistically significant differences in mean scores of each of the communication skills in favor of the post application. In the light of these results, the study recommended the necessity of using children chants/songs and short stories in teaching and learning.

By rearranging the chromosomes in the sample taken from the human body, thus contributing to the detection of genetic diseases in the target sample, as well as detecting diseases that can be diagnosed through the technique of karyotype Syndrome Down, Edward syndrome, Turner syndrome and Kleinfelter syndrome, and lack of growth and development, as well as leukemia and lymphoma . The steps to work in the laboratory are summarized by providing a suitable environment for sample growth and cultivation, stopping the division by using a chemical and adding a solution that causes the cells to bloom and exit the chromosomes, dye the sample and examine it under the microscope and insert the results into a computer program and analyze them using the karyotype

Dr K.M.A.Ahamed Zubair has been teaching Arabic Literature and Language in New College, Chennai, India. He has written 53 books in English, Tamil and Arabic languages, which were published from Germany, Iraq and India. His 173 research articles got published in Journals from India, Canada, Malaysia and Bangladesh. He is the editor of two Refereed journals NJAS & IJLLL.He has been popularizing and introducing Tamil Works into Arabic, and introducing Arabic works into Tami Languages.His efforts are resulted to carry out comparative studies of these two great literatures.He has given solutions to encoding Issues of Arwi, by substituting some characters in the available character set of the Unicode Consortium.He is the pioneer in popularizing and introducing the literary forms of modern Arabic literature namely Poems, short stories, Novels, essays into Tamil language.The United Nation has referred his translated poem "Gandhi" written by Ahmed Shawqi from Arabic into Tamil & Hindi languages and "Yaadum Oore Yaavarum Keelir" from Tamil into Arabic appreciated his efforts in translating this poem for the cause of Universal Peace and Brotherhood.

There are various developed instruments to assess impact of asthma among asthmatic children but few of these instruments were developed in paired versions of child and caregiver. Children Health Survey for Asthma is one of the instruments that have paired versions, parent version (CHSA) (item, n = 48) and child version (CHSA-C) (item, n = 25). The aims of the present study were to establish the validity and reliability of the Malaysian versions of M-CHSA and M-CHSA-C, to assess the effect of asthma on Malaysian asthmatic children and their parents, to present the difference of child¿s and parent¿s report about the effect of asthma on their lives, and to investigate the differences, effects and relationships of socio-demographic and medical data with the health outcomes from asthmatic children and their parents.

L¿évaluation de l¿impact social (EIS) est aujourd¿hui l¿un des plus grands enjeux liés au développement de l¿entrepreneuriat social. Ce champ est caractérisé par une inflation d¿outils et méthodes d¿évaluation (plus de 35 méthodes recensées). Ces outils s¿inscrivent majoritairement dans une logique financière et ont un caractère contextuel. Autrement dit, ils servent des objectifs spécifiques liés au contexte de leur conception et sont rarement adaptés aux besoins des entrepreneurs sociaux. Par ailleurs, la majorité des outils ont été conçus dans les pays développés sur les deux côtés de l¿Atlantique (Etats Unis, Europe). Cette thèse propose un outil d¿évaluation d¿impact social inspiré du contexte marocain qui permet de comprendre le cadre logique dans lequel l¿impact social se génère, de le mesurer selon une démarche rigoureuse et de le communiquer aux différentes parties prenantes. Cet outil est élaboré sur la base d¿une étude exploratoire pour déceler les besoins des acteurs marocains en termes d¿évaluation de l¿impact social. For several decades, antibiotics and chemotherapeutics in prophylactic doses have been used in animal feed to improve animal welfare and to obtain economic benefits in terms of improved animal performance and reduced medication costs. However, there are increasing concerns about the risk of developing cross-resistance and multiple-antibiotic resistance in pathogenic bacteria both in man and livestock, linked to the therapeutic and subtherapeutic uses of antibiotics in livestock and pets. The European Union has banned all of in-feed use of antibiotics from 2006 and the use of antibiotics in feed is being considered for elimination (or intense regulation) in other parts of the world. This perspective has stimulated nutritionists and feed manufacturers to search for new, safer alternatives.

A simple, sensitive, accurate and low cost effective spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of Tetracycline, Doxycycline and methyldopa in pure and pharmaceutical formulations. The method is based on the reaction of methyldopa with 4-aminoantipyren (4-AAP) in presence of potassium ferriecyanide (PFC) in an alkaline medium. Two optimization methods were applied to determine the optimum conditions of oxidizing coupling reaction variables; univariate and design of experiment (DOE) method. The conditions effecting the reaction; pH, buffer Volume, reagent concentration, oxidant concentration, type of buffer, order of addition, time of reaction and stability were optimized. The method was successfully applied to the analysis of the some drug tablets formulation.

Both Al-Mawardi and Sayyed Qutb are considered as Islamic intellectuals who theorize for the ordinances of government, but each one of them was influenced by the cultural, social, and political contexts and circumstances of his own epoch. As a result, new technologies were emerged, such as optical computer. Switching is a fundamental activity in communication networks. In addition, it is a basic operation in advanced PCs and signal processing systems. The present rapid development of high rate fiber optic communication systems has driven a requirement high frequency repeaters and terminal systems for ultra-fast photonic switches. Similarly, the potential for optical processing and computing can only be realized if large arrays of high speed photonic switches, gates and memory elements are developed.

This course book comes under English for Specific Purposes (ESP) materials which is designed for teachers and students as well. Back- formation in English is one of the processes of word-formation, whereby new verbs are derived from already existing nouns by deleting what is thought to be a suffix. In Arabic, the case is different; back-formation is considered a derivational process called ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿derivation from the noun¿ in which new verbs are formed by applying the processes of affixation, infixation and substitution. In other words, in English it is a deletion process whereas in Arabic it is a process of addition and modification. Antonomasia is another word-formation process in English, in which new verbs, nouns and adjectives are derived from proper names. In Arabic, antonomasia is a ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ under subsumed process derivational whereby only verbs can be derived from proper names. The present contrastive study investigates the two word-formation processes back-formation and antonomasia in English and their Arabic counterparts, so as to shed light on the points of similarity and difference between the two languages.
