Our Journey to Oneness: How He Found Me is our story of how we were 6,202 miles apart; how our Father, Jehovah, Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit was talking to us about the same plans, dreams, and visions for our lives in their kingdom; how our meeting would be from afar--meaning, we had never met or seen each other. We had no idea He meant we were from different countries, that my prayer would be answered as I prayed my husband would know I'm his wife at first sight. As I opened my mouth to speak the words of kindness, Oluwagbemiga would experience peace like never before. Once he found me, his mind would be at rest because his lifelong seeking had been fulfilled as God promised him. As we share the story of God's unfailing love for us, we just celebrated our second year of marriage. We tell you about our waiting, meeting, engagement, wedding, and foundation building of our marriage, ministry, businesses, home, and family.

This book contains poems and stories that carry meaning. Throughout the years, I have written hundreds and hundreds of pieces. You don't see them all because I was scared of what everyone else thought. After each notebook or paper was written, I burned it in my grandpa's fireplace. As I had gotten older, I realized I never wanted to burn away my words anymore. Everyone deserves to be heard, no matter how small the words are. These poems and short stories are all gonna be different. They all bear various emotions and results, as life does too. Love, sadness, loneliness, and happiness are the core conscience in the human body. I had difficulty separating those emotions, so I had developed a fake smile for whenever I felt not okay. I hope this shines a little understanding of what was in a little-troubled human being's mind.

This book breaks down the dynamics of the most talked about parts of the Gospel or Scripture. The Gospel is made plain to all who believe. It is God's living Word, which became flesh in manifestation of Jesus Christ. God's Word is truly like a puzzle, which can only be pieced together by faith. Nevertheless, I don't find it strange that God would want it this way. He is clear that He wants our diligent, wholehearted efforts in knowing Him and receiving His glorious kingdom. This book is the true definition of tough love.

Our lives are earthen vessels fragile but unbreakable due to our self-determination and steadfast faith. Faith allows us the opportunity to make the needed changes in our lives so that life is worth the journey. Despite the regrets, failures, and misgivings in our past, we can still change. Faith is the foundation, anchor, and root of self-transformation. Self-transformation is the result of the significant changes we make to become authentic and lovable human beings. The process of transformation is only possible if we have the courage to be as ourselves that is seeking and living the truth based in reality. This means being a personal instrument of compassion, empathy, self-giving, and kindness to others while pursuing our own dreams. Human life is sacred and unique in the sense that transformation at any age is always possible. It is never too late, nor is it fully achieved until we have breathed our last. We live for second chances. The story enshrined in the memorable Christmas novella A Christmas Carol is a testament to every person's journey of faith, self-transformation, and redemption. It is not only in reminiscing the experiences of our lives that is redemptive but how we end up in life when death knocks at our door.

Paterson is the third largest city in the state of New Jersey. It is the home of Larry Doby (the first African American baseball player to play in the American League in 1947), the world-famous comedian Lou Costello, the Great Falls National Historic Park, the Huntoon-Van Rensalier underground railroad site, the Hinchliffe Stadium (where many teams from the old Negro Baseball League played, including the New York Black Yankees), and the first submarine, which was invented and manufactured by John Holland, a Paterson schoolteacher. But the lifeblood of Paterson are the ones who proudly call themselves Patersonians. These are the people who were born, raised, lived, worked, played, or raised their own families in Paterson. In UCAP: Up Close and Paterson, you will hear from a small sampling of current and former residents who comprise the ethnic, socioeconomic, cultural, political, and religious diversity that is Paterson, New Jersey. Through their personal stories, you will get a brief glimpse into the soul of the city dubbed the Silk City. And even with their contrasting and oftentimes very candid views of how different Paterson is now compared to when they grew up, there's no denying the love and pride they have for the city they call home, "P-Town!"

Mary Harris experienced many aspects of life that were thought-provoking. As a girl, she often walked the streets of Charleston, South Carolina, and observed the effects of the environment on people's lives. She was then able to often use her spiritual beliefs to understand and relate personally. Through the vices of poetry, she analyzed and recorded her thoughts. Here, she also describes her adolescence endeavors, love for family, and relationships as well as how she, as an adult, persevered and navigated in a multicultural society to achieve her goals.Perspectives of a Life Lived focuses and visualizes for the reader vivid reactions to love and daily life. It offers dedications when losing loved ones in respectful, touching tributes from the heart. There is a sense of protectiveness portrayed in the section of poems titled "God's Grace". It illuminates the serenity needed to go on through all trials and tribulations.Mary Harris profoundly expresses her voice in the various "Perspectives" poems as she achieved her goals for a long career; traveled in her off time as a hobby; and interacted with colleagues, friends, and family. You will surely be encouraged and see yourself on many levels, reading these exciting poems.
