Of Living, Thinking and Being is the literary culmination of my journey of self-discovery thus far.After several years of working with my psychologist to help resolve some of my personal issues, I developed an interest in philosophy and how our thoughts impact our lives.Being something of a lay person in this field, I dove into the rabbit hole of podcasts and eventually built up the courage to take on actual source material, but even after reading popular entry-level texts, I still found that it could be challenging work to unravel all the lessons.I created this book, featuring the beautiful artwork of Aidan Roberts, to deliver some of my favourite ideas that I have encountered, in a familiar format so they could be enjoyed, and reflected upon with ease.It is my hope that this short book, comprising twenty illustrated verses, will serve as a springboard for you into your own journey of self.

He is a faithful God, and we witnessed a miracle that only He could give, and we give Him all the glory, honor, and praise.Laila was born 24 weeks prematurely and we were told she would not live but would be born and die.Laila's name was on prayer warriors', men and women of God's, prayer lists everywhere. There was an outpouring of powerful prayers as we stood in faith.We had confidence in God's Word. So, we prayed that she would not die but live.We stood firmly on God's Word. We could not let fear, doubt, or unbelief enter in.We chose to walk by faith and not by sight, and we declared boldly God's promises found in the Bible.Jesus, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever, raised Laila up from death to life. He did it all and it started on the cross at Calvary. He gave this miracle.In 2005 God placed a desire in my heart to write this book, Laila: God's Miracle and our Faith, to glorify Him and to testify of His great mercy, grace, and faithfulness.The focus is to be on Him, and the power and authority found in His Word, when believed and acted upon in faith.
