Die Kunstwissenschaft blickt üblicherweise chronologisch auf die historische Entwicklung von künstlerischen Konzepten und Begriffen wie Harmonie, Erfindung oder Bildraum. In diesem Aufsatzband wird ein neuer wissenschaftlicher Ansatz bewerkstelligt, namentlich die Untersuchung der Retrospektiven der künstlerischen Praxis seit der Moderne insbesondere auf tradierte und vergangene Konzepte der Renaissance. Dieser Perspektivenwechsel erlaubt neue Einsichten in die mitunter brüchigen und komplexen Entwicklungen der künstlerischen Konzepte oder in ihre Ideologisierungen oder Mystifizierungen, und lässt gleichzeitig das Verständnis der divergierenden Bedeutungen der historischen Konzepte vertiefen und schärfen. Dabei wird hier immer wieder grundsätzlich die Bedeutung der Kunsttheorie, der Wirkmacht der Kunstwahrnehmung, des Kunstbetriebs und der künstlerischen Traditionswerte erörtert.

Cet ouvrage entend contribuer à l'analyse de la traduction en action, en réunissant des études de cas concrets, issus d'aires linguistiques et culturelles différentes, qui cherchent à résorber le clivage entre théorie et pratique et à tenir compte des multiples facteurs (politiques, culturels, sociaux, économiques) qui influencent les processus de traduction et que la circulation des textes traduits influence en retour. Il s'agit donc de sortir de la relation binaire entre un texte source et un texte cible pour adopter une perspective élargie, à même de faire ressortir le rôle des acteur·ice·s et agents multiples qui entrent en jeu dans tout processus traductif. Ce faisant, un certain nombre d'idées reçues (entre autres, la sacralité du texte source, le caractère nécessairement second et subalterne de la traduction, le mythe de la transparence) seront remises en question, pour faire ressortir le potentiel créatif et subversif de la traduction.

En este volumen se recogen veintiocho artículos relacionados con la compilación y el análisis de corpus diacrónicos especializados, que sirven de complemento a los corpus de la RAE. En algunos casos, se trata de corpus digitales ya disponibles en red, como CHARTA, CODEA, CODCAR, CORHEN, Post Scriptum, ODE, Corpus Mallorca, CORDICan, etc. En otros, de iniciativas para configurar nuevas bases de datos textuales y herramientas para el estudio diacrónico del español, desde la Edad Media hasta finales del XIX. El foco central de esta nueva infraestructura de investigación está en aportar nuevos datos (procedentes de tipologías documentales y de regiones poco representadas en CORDE y CDH) y en ofrecer mejores recursos para el análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de la documentación archivística.

La ricezione della storia di Adelphi ha risentito a lungo dell'influenza di una delle sue figure più autorevoli: Roberto Calasso. Quest'ultimo ha dedicato una parte della sua produzione a un discorso sulla figura dell'editore a cui si intrecciano percorsi autobiografici riguardanti la sua attività nella casa editrice milanese. Attraverso il filtro delle sue memorie editoriali si è venuto formando così un preciso immaginario adelphiano. Il saggio indaga le opere di Calasso che rientrano in questo filone memorialistico. Partendo da un'indagine sulle tecniche narrative utilizzate, la ricerca arriva a delineare il rapporto tra la storia di Adelphi e la sua resa creativa all'interno del racconto dell'editore. Grazie a una prospettiva interdisciplinare che considera la critica letteraria relativa alla scrittura del sé, la sociologia della letteratura e le ricerche in campo editoriale, il lavoro vuole proporre un approccio nuovo alla storia culturale in cui lo studio della memoria intellettuale arricchisce e amplia l'indagine storica.

Throughout the history of human civilization, the definition of the animal and its relationship to humans have been contentious issues. This book investigates the notion of what constituted an animal in Early Medieval English culture as well as how the animal-human interaction is portrayed in the Anglo-Saxon literary corpus. In this regard, the animal's portrayals in the Exeter Book Riddles and of monstrous creatures in the Wonders of the East provided a fertile field for research because these texts, rarely connected to allegorical readings and offering viewpoints that might be seen as complementary, deal with fundamental issues regarding what it meant to be human for Early Medieval English society.This study offers fresh insights into the characters and themes explored in the Exeter Book collection and in the Wonders of the East, looking for the spaces of Anglo-Saxon thought in which animality and humanity appear to meet. The author not only discovers the peculiar features in the definition of humanity with regard to animal and non-human figures, but is able to demonstrate that a strong anthropocentric vocation can coexist with an outlook that recognizes a close affinity among different species.

Este estudio ofrece una propuesta interpretativa de la primera etapa de la trayectoria de Ada Salas (Cáceres, 1965), condensada entre Arte y memoria del inocente (1988) y Lugar de la derrota (2008). Se plantea una visión de conjunto sostenida en el diálogo de las realizaciones textuales con la teoría literaria y el pensamiento simbólico-místico y filosófico que las fundan. Con este enfoque integral, los distintos capítulos analizan pormenorizadamente cada uno de los aspectos medulares de esta obra. Como si se tratase de un proceso de desvelamiento, sus páginas trazan el recorrido que va desde la concepción cognoscitiva del poema hasta la "cortedad del decir" -o viceversa-, a fin de desentrañar el sentido último de la escritura: el conocimiento del ser en el lenguaje.

Este libro pretende poner el foco el estudio de la ¿¿¿µ¿ en Eurípides, recurso ampliamente utilizado por el tragediógrafo pero que ha recibido escasa atención. Para ello el estudio propone un modelo formal de análisis que comprende tres aspectos principales de la ¿¿¿µ¿. El primero consiste en la contextualización de la ¿¿¿µ¿ en la obra euripidea. El segundo, la base, es la definición de la ¿¿¿µ¿ a partir de la retórica y de los estudios modernos. Finalmente, la parte más importante, la descripción y análisis formal de la ¿¿¿µ¿ en la tragedia euripidea, presidida por el rigor filológico en el tratamiento de los pasajes y sometida a un estudio pormenorizado, desde los indicios léxicos hasta los morfosintácticos. Se trata de un trabajo pionero y necesario en su género que supondrá la base para abrir nuevos caminos en el estudio de Eurípides y la ¿¿¿µ¿.

Population movements taking place in past decades, including those reaching the European Union, defy straightforward and simplistic conceptions of drivers, trajectories and forms of migration. Approaching migration journeys as non-linear processes, this book looks into the conditions and legal-policy frameworks at broad spaces of mobility interlinking several origin, transit, destination and host contexts in South/Central/Western Asia, Eastern/Central/Western Africa, Central and South America, and Europe to provide a more nuanced understanding of mixed migration. It also looks at specific migratory trends towards the European Union before and after the so-called 'migration crisis' (2009-2020), while paying particular attention to gender- and sexuality-specific dynamics and patterns.

She was young, a determined fighter against Nazism in Germany; she was an independent socialist, a tireless writer against hatred and war; and she was an extremely courageous woman. All this would be enough to secure Hilda Monte a prominent place in the history of resistance to barbarism in 20th century Europe. Furthermore, she designed a project for a federal Europe that remains unparalleled. Among the many proposals for the future European peace, this one stands out. She edited her project in October 1943 with the renowned London publisher Victor Gollancz.Her plea: for European countries to finally put an end to the "old game of sovereignty". Lasting peace and economic development required a genuine "European revolution": solidarity throughout Europe, common federal structures, based on a shared history and the common values of humanism. She was aware that this path would be a difficult one. Hilda Monte was born in Vienna in 1914, grew up in Berlin and wrote her first newspaper articles against the rise of Hitler when she was 17. In 1933 she witnessed the "seizure of power" in Berlin. Exile in Paris and London followed. But Hilda Monte wanted to do more than just write against Nazism, and so she undertook dangerous trips to Germany. On 17 April 1945, while returning from a mission "on the ground" for the Austrian resistance, which she considered an act of European solidarity, she was shot and killed on the border near Feldkirch. Her treatise "The Unity of Europe", newly published here, is the lasting legacy of an eminent European resistance fighter.

This volume honours Federica Scarpa, a prominent figure in Translation Studies who has made a major contribution to defining, describing and researching specialised translation. In her body of research, Scarpa has successfully combined insights from a variety of approaches, from functional theories to the cultural turn and, more recently, profession-related aspects. Her approach to the study of specialised translation considers multiple dimensions (discoursal, pragmatic and service-related) and builds an organic model capable of accommodating context-based quality criteria and advances in technology.
