Prof. Brij Kishore Kuthiala A teacher by profession, thinker by inclination and a social activist Prof. Brij Kishore Kuthiala is involved in promoting research based nationalistic dialogue. Born and brought up in the sub-Himalyas, he graduated from Shimla and did higher studies from Panjab University. He has been trained at Film and Television Institute Pune and Indian Institute of Mass Communication. Prof. Kuthiala is engaged in media teaching and academic management during last 51 years.He is actively engaged ever after formal retirement. His thoughts and analysis, in English and Hindi are available in the form of articles, chapters, books, radio and TV programmes and also in social media. Initiating career as field investigator, he has occupied various academic positions in higher education that include eight years as Vice Chancellor. He has the reputation of an 'Institution Builder'. for the last few years, Prof. Kuthiala has been engaged in policy planning. At present, he is the Chairperson of Haryana State Higher Education Council. Friends and colleagues know him as a 'senior teenager'.
