The book covers the last three years of my mother's life. It is a tribute to her and the family. It started out as merely keeping track of various appointments, etc., and ended up as a diary of events describing the last three years of her life. She struggled much longer than what is written, but I started taking care of her those last three years. Dollie Fuller was born and raised in South Carolina. She holds both a bachelor and a Masters's degree, and worked in academia and social services for over 40 years, until her retirement in 2007. The Mets received great pitching from left hander - Jerry Koosman who won two games in the World Series. They also, were helped by Ron Swoboda's .400 batting average and Don Clendenon, World Series MVP. Clendenon hit .357 with three home runs and four RBI's. The Mets won the Series I five games which were all low scoring that shocked major league baseball thet season.
