When talking about process, this book is expressing a continual forward and onward movement from one point to another on the way to completion. Process is a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular result. Please note, the opposite of process is disorder. Our God is a God of order!! In this book you will receive wisdom and insight from God's Word, concerning this area of biblical receiving. God has plans, purposes and many promises for you, but there is a process you have to enter to manifest those divine conditions in your life. While reading and studying this book, remember, you are not to live your life as a believer only but also as a receiver. All the promises of God must be believed and received by faith. Take time and enjoy learning about the receiving process. Dr. Richard D. Holmes Sr., is the Pastor of Morning View Word Church in Chicago Illinois. His passion is to build competent viewers and doers of the word of God, people of victory success and prosperity. The anointing of God on his life causes him to teach in a very simple and understandable way. Dr. Holmes received his Doctorate in Ministry from G.M.O.R. Theological Institute of America in 2003. He is married to Lydecia A. Holmes who partners with him faithfully in ministry and they have four sons RaeDaeon, Richard Jr (Shauta), DeAndre (Kassy) and Richaun. He has been blessed with six grandchildren, Reigh Grace, Ava, Richard III, Richaun II, DeAndre Jr and Harmony.

STANDING ON HIS PROMISES is a testament of a number of my life experiences and proof that God is a promise keeper. Experiences of Divorce, loss of income, being jailed, and mental breakdown, were mine and how God brought me through each of them. There are several scriptural references of a few of the more than seven thousand promises in His Word that helped in the process of recovery. Examples of journals, affirmations, vision boards and poetry that were therapeutic are included. It is written to encourage and inspire others to share your testimony so that our Almighty God will get the glory that He deserves. Barbara Goings Wilson, a retired award-winning science teacher, taught for 38 years in North and South Carolina. Practically born in church, her mother went into labor at 4:00 AM on SUNDAY which prevented it. Her love of God and all of creation has never allowed a conflict in her career as a teacher of science. It is her belief that theology explains "why?" and science is man's attempt to explain "how?". The conflict in thinking is the ploy of the enemy. She is the very blessed mother of two from her first marriage with two grands and three great-grands. God has also blessed her to live in three of His beautiful biomes: The temperate deciduous forest of the Carolinas, tropical ocean in Key West, Florida, the Sonoran Desert in Tucson, Arizona. Barbara and her husband, Carl live in beautiful Savannah, Georgia.

God has so many blessings in store for us. Most Christians are aware that God's Word contains promise after promise of good things He has done for us and good things He wants to put in our lives. The problem is most of us wait for those promises to drop into our laps. If you wait for the good things of God to happen to you, you will never experience them in your life. Receiving requires action. God's promises must be possessed. Good news-God also gave us a divine how-two manual for taking hold of these blessings. The book of Joshua is a model teaching us, as Christians, how to overcome obstacles and bring God's promises into the reality of our day-to-day lives. Use this in-depth study of Joshua to: -Move beyond your past and anything else holding you back -Live full of passion, strength, and courage --Share in the Lord's victory over the enemy and bring His dominion into your life God has good things in store for you. Learn to possess what's yours-your full inheritance in Him.

As Christians, we want life to be easy and pretty for us, but often it's the opposite: hard and messy. On July 7, 2007, my husband, David was injured on the job. He fell from the top of a machine, severing the fingers on his left hand when he grabbed the swinging door of the machine to keep from falling off. As the machine tipped, he fell 6 ft. onto a concrete floor, hitting his head, which resulted in a head injury. He also suffered from memory loss, and trauma. Read how we came through this event with God's help, in a life-altering event that changed us forever. Fifteen years later, we are still traveling this road. Christians Get Hurt Too is an easy to read story of faith and hope in tragedy. Debbie Berger is an ordained minister, wife, and mother. Her hobbies include writing, crocheting, reading, scrapbooking, and being with family and friends. Debbie graduated from Sullivan Business College, attended Oakland City College, and earned a degree from The Institute of Children's Literature. She is published in Reminisce Magazine. Debbie and David have been married for over 44 years and they live in Clarksville, Indiana.

Many people think the Bible is too deep and complicated to understand. Others consider it too old and boring to be worth our time. Punk Rock Theology declares that anyone can read the Bible, and everyone should. It's time to stop sitting back and letting the so-called experts tell us what it all means and what to do with it. The Bible is not about history or fantasy but real life. These raw, gritty stories reveal how the world works, how relationships work, how faith works, and how life works. This book offers a simple way to read the Bible for yourself without professional opinions or years of study. God knows how to speak for Himself. All we have to do is pay attention. Nathan Proper earned so many stickers for learning memory verses as a child that he had no interest in reading the Bible as an adult. When a surprise encounter motivated him to study it, he tapped into his nerd roots and went deep. He now authors the Punk Rock Theologian blog/podcast to encourage reading the Bible for yourself over conforming to someone else's interpretation.

Peace in a Trouble Time was the first topic I preached, after I gave my life to Christ in 1991 in Assemblies of God Church Amakohia Owerri Imo State Nigeria during one of the youth meetings. This topic had helped me so much for over 29 years. Even when I backslider in my Christian journey, I always have this inward feeling of "peace" till I was restored back. God had used this topic to strength me, as I draw hope and see a brighter future (Proverbs 4:18) during my uncountable life's billows. I had always been a firm believer that no matter how bad life situations may be I always see "light at end of the tunnel". I experienced an uttermost Peace during the pandemic in 2020. I got a job to work in a psych unit but upon my arrival to that State I was deployed to full COVID unit. It was not fun my "Peace in a trouble time" manifested when I started leading the dying patients to Christ, thereby getting them ready for heaven. Halleluiah!!! Then came the rebirth of this topic after 29 years, first in Facebook where over one thousand viewed the Part 2, then the eruption of this book to be a global blessing. MAY THE PEACE OF GOD REIGN OVER YOUR SPRIRT, SOUL, & BODY AS YOU READ THIS BOOK IN JESUS NAME (JOHN 14:1).

Everyone has a story to tell-a life's story. Many do not take the time or have the God-given ability to put it on paper for others to read. Since Diana had both, she felt it was her responsibility to do so. She began several years ago with Heaven's Scent: Spreading the Fragrance of Christ. This spoke to her salvation experience and her new beginning in Christ. Journey of Faith: Through the Looking Glass, was the continuing story of her learning to walk with, listen to, and obey Jesus. Several of the new friends she and Russ made in Washington State mentored them, helping them in practical ways as well as sharing biblical knowledge with them. In Patches, Diana's third autobiographical account, she shares with her readers what it means to lose your mate of 40 years, make life-changing decisions for the future, and trust God and others to help you find peace in your present situation. Diana Warner-Adams is a published writer whose desire it is to share the love of Jesus Christ with all who will read about her experiences in Heaven's Scent: Spreading the Fragrance of Christ; Journey of Faith: Through the Looking Glass; and her latest, Patches. All three books have been published by Xulon Press within the past four years. Diana was encouraged to study journalism many years ago by a tenth grade substitute teacher from Scotland after turning in a particular class assignment. "You have a way with words," the teacher stated in her Scottish burr, "You should study journalism." The seed was planted. And while Diana didn't have the financial means to attend university (nor did she even consider it!), her interest in writing blossomed over the years.

It was put on my heart to read the books of Isiah and Jeremiah in the Bible during the pandemic and shutdown periods we all suffered during the past two years. I learned how many times through the ages and generations over the past 3000 years people have gone through times and troubles such as these. Pondering what God was telling me through his words at night time, these poetic words would come to me. Mary Leigh studied playing the piano, thinking of teaching this in public schools. She played for all three of her high school choirs, graduating with scholarships to college. While in high school, she joined the Youth Group where she met her husband and she took a job as a typist for a large corporation. Four years later, her husband was transferred to Wash., D.C. where her life changed again. His love of racing led to publishing a 20-page weekly newspaper that covered every division of racing in 5 different states. Mary typed all results, articles, and stories on a digital typesetter, designed advertisements, and photo captions, and got the layout sheets ready for the printer. Then she served on a Christian Elementary School board for 17 years where one of her children and 5 grandchildren attended. Mary felt the Lord working through His word and has written 2 novels showing God's way of working out difficulties and this new book of poems hoping it will help others with any difficulties and problems that they too may face.

Faith! The author of the Biblical book of Hebrews (chapter 11, verse1) says "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." So, faith can be a little difficult to firmly grasp. But the quality of life depends so much upon having faith in the right objects and persons. Even when we have faith in the right objects and persons, we can still fail to fully develop and correctly apply that faith. Christians place their faith in God. That's easy to say, but what does it really mean. What does a Christian believe about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, Humans, Salvation, Security, and Eternity? What beliefs are essential to fully developing and correctly applying the Christian faith? How can I have confidence in my faith? This book addresses those questions and presents clear answers. Gary White spent his earliest years near Archer City, TX. His father was a cowboy on the Canaan Ranch, and his mother was the cook for the Canaan Ranch cowboys. At age 8, his family moved from Archer City to Wichita Falls. His mother's family had a strong Christian heritage. Gary became a Christian and was baptized in a stock tank in Iowa Park, TX when he was 9. Gary obtained a BS in Biology from Baylor University and then moved to Houston where he met and married Barbara Kuhn. He worked for the next 43 years adjusting/auditing/investigating life, health, and disability claims for insurance companies. He has been an active church member throughout his life. In 1997, Gary and Barbara moved from Houston to League City, TX, where they have been attending Clear Creek Community Church and where Gary became addicted to pickleball.

April didn't always know God, but she was no stranger to the paranormal. Living in a dysfunctional home had led April on a quest to gain power and control in her life. Dabbling in witchcraft and astrology, she found that things can get a little crazy when you are sensitive to the Supernatural. Crazy enough to make you wonder if you really are crazy. One weapon -and the prayers of her mother-had saved April from the many battles where demons had tried to overtake her. But the day came when April stopped fighting and discovered that the one weapon she'd had-and had given up on-was the power in the Blood of Jesus. This was the one weapon she would need on her journey into the spiritual realms; from being tormented by demons to arriving at the face of Jesus.

Family. There is no stronger bond than that which ties us together to our family members. Not even the tight chains and iron confines of a raging, out-of-control pandemic. Young Aiden, Lottie, and Izzy are overcome with grief and overwhelmed to have lost their single mother to the coronavirus, in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic. At a loss of what to do, stressed, scared, and not wanting to go back to his abusive, alcoholic father whom they had left behind in his mother's separation, Aiden convinces his sisters that it is time for them to strike out on their own, in the hope of staying together forever. As minors, and afraid of what might happen to them should the authorities place them into separate foster care, the sisters reluctantly agree to follow their brother's plan. What follows is a harrowing and unexpected journey of off-the-grid hiding and survival on their own, as the three siblings seek out the solitary solace of the woods to begin a new life. In Family Survival, author Susan Thayer Kelley takes readers along for the ride of these teens' lives, as they journey out of grief and pain, attempting to lift their family life up from the ashes and ghosts of their past. But the road is long. And filled with uncertainty and danger.

Issues of the Heart is a collection of short essays with scriptural insights to relate to everyday life, and are primarily from my own life experiences. Do you like to fish? Many times life is like fishing, and two of the stories speak to this. Ever gone out of your comfort zone? Encounter a message or "messenger" that you perceived was from God? What kind of "soil" were you planted in? Ever been asked to preside over the funeral for someone dear to you? These stories may make you smile, laugh, reflect, and even cry a little. Perhaps they can be applied to your own life, finding a common experience to your challenges and trials, and become an encouragement to you. See the author's heart as he experiences unexpected brain surgery, marrying off three daughters, and a painful death in his family, sharing life analogies in a transparent way. Sam Siligato was born and raised in Southern New Jersey and resides there with his wife Sherry of thirty-seven years. He is active in his church, Fairton Christian Center, over forty years where he enjoys teaching adult Sunday school. Sam has a teaching degree in high school math and science, and has been a licensed real estate agent over thirty years. Sam enjoys catching amazing sunsets at Fortescue, a nearby fishing town, and relaxing on his back porch overlooking the fish pond, a place to read and write, and spending time with family. Fishing provided many memories with friends and family. Seeing his grandchildren catch their first fish has been immeasurable joy. Sam previously published a real estate investment book, So You Want To Be A Landlord. He was a finalist in the Amy Writing Awards, and published in The Upper Room, War Cry, Live, Seek and The Lampstand.

How can injustice be uprighted from that horrible hot blistering day in Florida, August 2005. As a grandmother and grandfather waited outside of a divorce and custody courtroom to testify to the best of their knowledge to protect their precious granddaughter. Instead, the grandparents were SHANGHAIED into the courtroom by a deceiving Judge. As they were entering the Judge immediately cleared the courtroom. He then railed upon the grandparents, ordered the police officers to [illegally] SHACKLE them, and drag them out the back door to six months in Prison. No attorneys present, no rights, no law. In addition, the evil Judge applied a zero contact Restraining Order with the granddaughter they had helped raise. Their grandchild had trusted the grandmother with her tearful story of painful abuse. How could this happen when they had broken no laws, and were protecting their grandchild? Even worse - the Evil Judge stated that he was giving sole custody of the child to her Dad, her alleged perpetrator... This story is about love...struggles...faith...trust being broken...abuse...betrayal and Injustice resulting in irrevocable loss. Annie Aplin, author Born in Georgia, mother of two children, and fourteen grandchildren. I served in the political system in the USA, as well as a Missionary in several Communist/Socialist/Dictatorship countries. While serving in Cuba, Venezuela, China, Haiti, etc., my eyes were opened to the atrocities happening within my own country, and the necessity to expose it. Knowledgeably Voting in person is our duty to preserve Freedom in our nation. Exposing evil with the truth - at all risks - is the way to clean up a corrupt government system. Proverbs 17:15 ERV...The LORD hates these two things: punishing the innocent and letting the guilty go free.

Religion can be a two-edged sword! Handled correctly, it brings peace. Handled incorrectly and religion can also be harsh and unsettling, especially when man adds his complex mandates to the text. If you were raised in an environment of religious rules, especially with no valid explanation from scripture, this book is for you! Grace Morph will ignite the metamorphosis of God's destiny for your life and initiate a transformation freeing the reader from the bondage of legalism into the glorious freedom of grace! Estes weaves his own epic journey, including the pain of unanswered questions as a child, of leaving popularity within a denomination as a young man and questing through the struggles of transition in maturity, to find the simplicity that is in Christ. After fifteen years in the making, time has yielded ample proof of this treatise, as Tim and Tricia have ministered to thousands of people, including pastors and leaders, helping them to know Jesus with a biblio-centric approach to life! Tim and Tricia Estes have spent most of their lives serving the city of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and the surrounding area. With more than thirty years of pastoral and chaplaincy ministry, Tim brings a wealth of experience to this writing. His five grandchildren affectionately call him Bop-Bop. Tim is recognized as a civic leader and has held several leadership positions with a variety of entities including a Northwest Regional Hospital, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary International, and more. Like finding the headwater of a stream, Scripture can instill in us insatiable curiosity for more. As a compass depicts a way to know where we are going physically, so God leads us through the Holy Spirit's pointers. Perrla B. Timms began a journey of discovering a church that was a fit for her. God pointed her to a community congregation which had five-minute readings each Sundays, what specific Scriptures meant to them. Many years and Scripture readings since her first, Timms has acquired insightful and down-to-earth wisdom of God's Word that can only be taught through true faith and real-life experiences. Into Mystery: Finding the Headwaters of Scripture, Vol. 1 is Timms's thirty-day devotional where believers can reflect with the Holy Spirit's counsel. Each day provides insightful questions, real-world experiences, Biblical stories, and excellent topics for reflection, including: How Jesus works against what humanity considers "normal" Finding the balance needed in one's life Why humanity believes they must fight each other to be "top dog" How teamwork truly does make the dream work And more! Timms followed where God led her to be, and found as others can, the headwater where curiosity for His Word would not only be sated, but would be given the opportunity for continuous growth. Perrla Bayner Timms is a busy, but balanced healthcare worker and mother. Her hobbies include writing, cooking, shopping and being with family. She enjoys her "oldies music" and good movies for much needed escapes. Perrla has earned a degree from the University of Tennessee and obtained two insurance licenses. While she has traveled some, the hills of East Tennessee beckoned her back and she resides there presently. Thankfully alone now, she can visit her three grandchildren and their respective parents, when she is not preparing for Scripture studies.
