Who am I and why should you read my story? My name is Max Faraday. Nobody is going to believe me, but here I am putting it all down on paper. I am a man of two time periods. Forgive me, this sci-fi stuff is new to me.A week or more ago, in July 2002, I came home for my 1982 high school class reunion. I was staying with my friend Jamie Scott and his family. On the way home from the reunion, we picked up his kids at the babysitter. Their little girl comes out and bounces a ball that tumbles out of her hands into the street. Just as we arrived, a car speeds up and my instincts take over. I pick her up and get her out of the way, but I was then hit by the speeding car! Stunned, I wake up in September 1978! I am a thirty-eight-year-old man in a fourteen-year-old's body! I can't tell anyone, or they would lock me up, thinking I'm crazy! I know I would. So here I am in the eighth grade all over again. When I went to bed in 1978, I woke up in a coma in 2002, wondering about driver who ran me over.About the Author: First-time author Jeffrey Shurlow Graham lives in rural Michigan. His writing is inspired by George Orwell and Tom Clancy, and he grew up reading Marvel and DC Comics. "With time and history, we just don't know all that is going on in it."

I was in my early thirties when I fell ill with myalgic encephalomyelitis. It's extraordinary that one of my main pointers to recovery came in a leaflet from the ME Association, where it acknowledged that while there is no known medical cure, the patients who make the best recovery have paid attention to their diet!Since then, over thirty years ago, I got better relatively fast. However, the ME Association has become a far bigger concern, since it still insists there is no cure for the condition. It produces a quarterly magazine full of information, but still promises no way to get better.I relate my own experiences, discussing how hard it has been to be with those who are unable to comprehend my long illness, which lasted between two and three years before I achieved wellness independently of the medical profession. There were many months when I had no idea what my condition was, and I was confused. Even after diagnosis, I remained ill, getting worse until I could hardly walk. Then a gift arrived from an auntie. It was a bundle of books, some of which were about good nutrition.Information from the ME Association fell into place. I devised a better diet, took care of myself, and began to recover. I struggled with the recovery process and kept on researching. I learned the value of vitamins and an important process related to repetitive eating.I was able to return to activities such as swimming and horse riding, but most wonderful of all, I could care for my two small sons without needing help.Lisette Skeet grew up in the village of Great Horkesley, near Colchesterin Essex. "I live in a quiet corner of Halstead, Essex now, and I love the scene at the front of my house where there is a green space and a duck pond surrounded by foliage. I can watch mallards, coots, magpies, pigeons, squirrels, and an occasional visiting muntjac deer." She is a counsellor, including grief counselling, and a dog behavioural therapist

The Chronicles of Pericles denotes a collection of ancient manuscripts, supposedly unearthed adjacent to the Parthenon in Athens, Greece, when the city was preparing for the 2004 Olympic Games. The chronicles are so named because the chief character appears to be Pericles. He may or may not be the same Pericles, more commonly known as the Greek statesman and general, who ruled during the 5th century BC, the greatest age of Athens. Within these chronicles, time and place are not important. The stories are as told in an ancient language and set in a time that could be called Greek "Dreamtime." It appears the original author was familiar with both Homer's works and Greek mythology. This historical adventure follows the discovery of these manuscripts and how copies came to be in the hands of "The Pericles Committee." Of the original seven manuscripts, only three have been translated. What will the other four show?Author Bio: Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, John R. Sabine earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Melbourne, and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. He has lived in the United States collectively for about eight years, and has spent six months in England and Sweden with multiple visits to other countries, especially China, Kuwait, and India. He has lived in Adelaide, Australia, for the past fifty years, working predominantly at the University of Adelaide. His wife is originally from America. They have five children and twelve grandchildren. The author is now in his third career, first as an academic and research scientist, second as a business consultant and entrepreneur, and now as a "Scholar-at-Large," a thinker, writer, speaker, and actor.
