The question Jesus asked, past, present, and future, demands our answer. Whether we know it or not, we answer His question every day. Our path in life is not determined by chance but by us. Regardless of what happens, our words and actions reflect who we say Jesus is. God places memory stones throughout our life; therefore, we all have God's visible hand all along the road of life. As God gave Joshua and the Israelites memory stones to remind them of who He is and what He had done, He provides us with memory stones also. The world is profoundly dynamic in every way. Every day we are bombarded with instability, confusion, and fear of one kind or another. The news media dramatizes lies as truth to sway public opinion. We tend to listen to the media far more often than we fill our minds with the goodness of God. To add to our undoing, family, friends, neighbors, and others pressure us with their viewpoints, trying to persuade us while stealing our peace. If we are to reflect the presence of Christ in this world, we must rise above all the earthly noises and declare and believe Jesus, the Word of God. God has provided His solid foundation of truth throughout all generations. We, along with millions before us, have trusted, lived, and overcome the things of this world based on God's Word, His holy and living Spirit, and His abundant grace. God's Word is easy, straightforward, available, and free of charge. His relentless love, His Word, and His Spirit are clear, concise, and continually breathed into our lives, but how we answer who we say He is, is up to us. Our answer to Jesus's question determines how we choose to live our lives. Every minute of every day, we consciously choose to live for or against the Lord. There is no in-between, no middle of the road. No one needs to tell us that our words, choices, and actions influence everyone around us. No one lives in a vacuum; everything we do and say affects someone. Others notice how strong or weak we stand and in whom we put our trust. Regardless of what we believe or think, our Book of Life contains every Word and action. When our last day on earth comes, and it inevitably will come, "how" we answered Jesus's question tells our story. Our story is our legacy to those around us and the world every day. I write with love, excitement, and anticipation that every reader may continuously ponder and polish our response
