During one of my personal Bible studies, the story of the woman with the alabaster box (Mark 14: 3-9, Mathew 26, and John 12) ministered to me differently. Unlike many people that came to Jesus while He was on earth, she came to give to Jesus instead of receiving. She came with an expensive oil to worship Jesus. She went above and beyond to honor the Kingship of Christ. The more I read the story, the more intrigued I became about the alabaster box, its contents and its symbolism to Christianity. The main purpose of man is to please God, and this can be done by blessing humanity with the gifts and virtues He has given us. Christianity is about being a blessing to our world. The world needs you and I to make a difference, to be the salt and light in this morally degraded world that we live in. A Believer is like the alabaster box-precious and carrying valuable fragrance to bless the whole world. Many people, however, are not aware of their worth and the value of what they carry inside of them. This book is an eye opener which will help you identify and maximize your "e;alabaster box"e; for the glory of God and benefit of humanity.

The Peace Factor extends hope to anyone who needs wholeness through the only way to receive it: the Lord Jesus Christ.

Whether we realize it or not, God always hears our prayers. And sometimes He answers in the most amazing ways. "With God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26, ESV). Scott Yeager is a sixty-three-year-old man who grew up in a lower-middle-class neighborhood in a far south suburb of Chicago, Illinois, and now lives in Santa Clara, California. He worked through school, put himself through college, and became an engineer for NASA. He had a successful career but went through a tough divorce and now lives alone, retired due to massive layoffs, and is in failing health. He finds himself depressed, with weakened faith. He cried out to God, hoping that his prayers would somehow be answered. God is to answer his prayers in the most unsuspecting way.

Come to Him in your despair and disappointments, not away from Him, and He will meet you right where you are. He promises we will win if we don't quit. You, too, can be victorious without the forty years of learning all this from the school of hard knocks that it took us after reading our story. The trails laid out here are shortcuts for you!

Hear God calling out to you through unforeseen and unrelenting life storms filled with biblical scripture and moving poetry that tell its own life story. Reap the benefits of lessons learned from walking with God on the sandy shores of affliction and from victories won in the classroom, and then revel in God's sovereignty to rescue those tired and worn from the eye of the storm. Bipolar Christians truly exist. Have you ever met someone who proclaimed to be Christian but yet still engages in the things of the world? They go to church, are active in ministry, and are very knowledgeable about the Word of God. However, you recognize that their behavior as a Christian needs improvement. Some might categorize such Christians as a "bipolar Christian," which would not be accurate unless they were truly a bipolar Christian.

The stories presented in this book help parents to gently guide their children into making good life choices. It also shows how the Scriptures apply to their children's lives. The stories create questions that can be discussed between parents and their children. The Adventures of Sam the Terrier is a fun way for parents to initiate "life lesson" discussions with their children. Sam learned his "life lessons" the hard way. He came to understand that everyone makes bad decisions sometimes. He learned to laugh at himself, to accept and include others that are less fortunate, to be thankful, to acknowledge other's contribution to his success, to be forgiving, and to understand how his decisions can affect himself and others.

As I watched games, I saw where the attack was aimed-right at the inside linebackers. I was led to write this book after I retired and looked back at my life. God evidently gifted me to teach and coach and showed me a solution defending the modern offense. Whether it was "that is how we have always done it" that I was taught or just refusing to see another answer, I had eyes to see, but I did not see. Using this information as a base defense or an adjustment will add value and success to your team and life. Writing this book before the 2021 Super Bowl, I wondered if Tampa had seen my manuscript.

  • - The Truth About Jewish Roots and Christian Believers
    av Neil Silverberg
    277

A Comprehensive Study Written About Jewish Roots and Christian Believers Rapidly growing worldwide, the Hebrew Roots Movement promises to help believers (especially non-Jewish believers) discover the Hebrew (Jewish) roots of their faith. However, while promising to bring followers to their Jewish roots, they instead bring them into Old Testament law-keeping and rabbinic tradition. This denies the truth of the gospel and its life-giving power to set captives free. The fifth book written by Bible teacher Neil Silverberg, Shadows and Substance, carefully examines this movement in both its theological and practical aspects covering such topics as: - Did Emperor Constantine make changes to the Hebrew roots of the faith? - What did the Jerusalem Conference establish regarding believers and the Law? - Does God expect believers to keep the Sabbath and the Hebrew feasts? - What is the difference between reconciliation to Old Testament Hebraic roots of the faith and those of rabbinic Judaism? The end result is not only a helpful guide to understanding the Hebrew Roots Movement but also a powerful unfolding of the gospel of grace to keep believers free from any form of legalism. This book was written for three audiences: those already deeply involved in the Movement, those interested in learning about the Jewish roots of their faith, and leaders who are charged with the responsibility of protecting God's people from error.

Cindy questioned every aspect of her life. Living as a Christian shouldn't be this hard, should it? Her mind was flooded every day with thoughts of fear and inadequacy, and it all seemed to stem from great darkness hovering over her memories of childhood. But her connection to the darkness was strong, and her faith felt so very weak. How could she ever truly be free?

  • - The True Power and Impact of Grace
    av Daniel Osagie Erhabor
    287

The Blood of Jesus vs. Sin and Death As the teaching of grace becomes increasingly popular, many now understand, more than ever, that sin is the reason and underlying factor for all sickness, disease, poverty, oppression, and death. Jesus Christ, by His sacrifice and blood shared on the cross, paid for all sin so that the "born again Christian" is forgiven and freed from all power and impact of sin. There are, however, many new questions that arise from the impressions left by the teachings of grace. Are the Law of Moses and other Old Testament laws still relevant today? Is it possible to live without sin on this side of eternity? What have sin and holiness got to do with the second coming of Christ? These and many other questions are answered in this study and revelation of the true meaning, power, and impact of grace over sin and death. God's Word in this book will enable the reader to live a righteous and holy life by the power of God's grace and help prepare the Body of Christ for the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Your life will never be the same again.
