I couldn't get the thought out of my head, so that evening I sat down and wrote a song, which led to a video and eventually this book. After teaching Sunday school for many years, I realized that telling stories or making up videos to show the children was the best way to capture their attention. I'd found a way to reach them beyond just going through the lesson! I was always told to stick to the curriculum, but my way was more exciting to them and got the message out in a way they could relate to and retain! I've always been an "e;out of the box"e; kind of guy and my way was working!Nena the Whale is a story that I hope can open the minds of children to understanding who Jesus is.
