Call it the exuberance of youth or high hopes. We go forward into life with a will, little sense, and the highest anticipation. We get clobbered from behind without the slightest realization.We try to shrug it off. It takes a toll on all.We're told we're just 'maturing' as we throw away our dreams of youth and embrace the insanity and misery of the human condition.We are told that the innocence of youth is just a childish dream we need to get over. (can you feel me beginning to hyperventilate?)Over and over again, through the millennia, the youth has cried for surcease. "Something is wrong, dammit!" "No, no, child. Life is misery. Just accept that fact." We succumb, once again, to the inertia of history, the past, and the stupour of the animal as puberty, disillusionment, and failure take hold. We are welcomed into the fold of misery with open arms.

We hav blinded ourselves. For the sake of our humanity, we must move on to accepting a defining difference regarding the human condition. Its absence unhinges our humanity.We remain only a stunted portrayal of a human being. We turned out the lights. All for the most ridiculous reason.The potential beauty of mankind is concealed beneath a ridiculous fictionalstoryline. Ironically, we have desperately avoided that which contains our sentient ascendence.Once we unleash humanity from the straitjacket of the beast, our progress will be astonishing. We can become human and that is more astonishing than anything one can imagine.The attributes of heightened awareness and intelligence only create the potential for sentient ascendence. That only gives us the keys to unlock the puzzle. Once we unshield our awareness we can, then, utilize our intellect to attain our humanity.

A Sentient Perspective explores what it really means to be human. The fundamental question that needs to be asked is why humanity continues to be irrational, brutal, and violent? The answer will surprise you. We need not remain in disarray. Our perspective is little changed from the cowering animal that crawled out of its cave many millennia ago.Just think on this. Mankind's greatest fear is mankind itself. How strange is that? A rather common belief, reinforced by conditioning handed down to us, is that we are aberrant by design. That is a disastrous misbelief and mischief. The absurdity, the disruptive elements, of our existence are not required. There is a saying that "Perception is reality". A more accurate description is "Perceptions match reality or indulge delusion". Sentient reality is far different from that of a beast. Our conditions fall well short of our potential. We can finally, fully attain our sentience and differentiate ourselves from animals by achieving formidable stability. It is possible for civilization to be civilized, society to be sane, humanity to be human, and the universe to be a challenge, not a paranoid threat. The perspective of a sentient race is tantalizingly within our easy grasp and purview. The reality will surprise you.
