ABSTRACTSince September 11-2001, Western scholars classified the study of Islamic Jihad as one of the most important disciplines to be examined. They began to review the relevant original sources of Islam in depth. Many efforts were made by those scholars to understand The Quran, holy book of all Muslims, looking for evidence that might support existing links between Islamic Jihad and the contemporary terroristic activities, if any. On the other hand, Muslim scholars and politicians have condemned all patterns of the contemporary terrorism, and have repeatedly confirmed the fact that Islam is a religion of peace, mercy and justice. Muslim scholars routinely provide positive evidence from The Quran and other Islamic sources to support the quality of Islamic teachings and guidelines. However, Muslim scholars and politicians have never attempted to comment or thoroughly elaborate such evidence or Quranic verses related to Jihad and fighting for the Cause of Allah as pointed-out by non-Muslim scholars. The dilemma facing Muslim scholars and politicians is not only to assure the quality of Islamic teachings, or to quote Quranic verses, which are not readily visible in most of the Islamic communities of today. The real dilemma is to provide satisfactory explanations and a uniform concept of Jihad or fighting for the Cause of Allah based on such variable sources. The challenge facing Muslim Scholars is adopting a common understanding on Jihad and Fighting for the Cause of Allah. It is urgent to determine whether Jihad or Fighting for the Cause of Allah is defensive or offensive, and to what extent. Whom are the targets of Jihad and fighting for the Cause of Allah? How and who is responsible in managing Jihad and Fighting Affares? What is the responsibility of the Islamic countries in combating Jihad and Fighting for the Cause of Allah, as far as they are obliged by the international laws? Does Jihad and Fighting for the Cause of Allah constitute a threat to International peace and security? This study provides an outline for the concept of Jihad and Fighting for the Cause of Allah from the perspective of the Muslim scholars and non-Muslim scholars. The intention of this study is inviting, or even provoking Muslim scholars to provide well established defense and come together with a uniform response that might create a favorable environment for all Muslims first, and for the human being second. This study is an attempt to: Enhance the adoption of a uniform understanding of Islamic Jihad and Fighting for the Cause of Allah and enforce such understanding among the Muslims first Provide a unanimously acceptable explanation of the Quranic verses related to Jihad and Fighting for the Cause of Allah. Underline available Quranic and Sunna evidence that might nullify any allegations against Jihad and Fighting non-Muslims in the context of the contemporary thinking of western scholars. Finally, to determine how far Islamic Jihad and Fighting for the Cause of Allah is a religious worshipping, and does not constitute any form of threat or terror for non-Muslims. By highlighting the controversial opinions of Muslim and non-Muslim scholars, this study may provide grounds to distinguish between Islamic Jihad and contemporary terroristic activities and political violence.

Owen has been watching Leo closely, but he still doesn't know how he does it. No matter what happens, Leo always seems to make choices that make him feel good, and Owen just seems to make choices that make him feel bad. Owen thinks Leo must have a secret that helps him to make good choices. Owen becomes a detective, watches what Leo does, and tries to discover Leo's secret. Find out Leo's secret-and maybe you can learn how to make choices that make you feel good too. Parents:Our bodies talk to us all the time-when we're hungry, our tummy rumbles; when we're tired, we yawn; when we're thirsty, our mouth becomes dry. Our bodies also tell us yes or no when we are making a choice. From a very young age, children understand the mind-body connection. They can learn how to listen to their bodies and become aware of what a yes feels like and what a no feels like. This valuable life skill can help children to be self-assured, more confident, and less likely to make poor choices or succumb to peer pressure. As the owner of this book colours the pictures, the activity reinforces the likely outcomes of yes and no choices. Read this book often. The more you read it and remind your child to apply the concepts in daily life, the more likely they will be able to make the best yes choices for themselves when presented with situations.

This book takes a look at the Gospel of John and presents the extraordinary claims of Jesus. Throughout the book many questions are raised to encourage the reader to examine their response to these. The challenge is to firstly, uncover Jesus' claims. What are they and what do they mean? Then, like a modern journalist, weigh up the validity of them and the testimonies of the witnesses who surrounded Him. After pondering all the facts that support Jesus' claims, a clear choice opens up to us. The choice involves either accepting or refuting that God sent Jesus to offer forgiveness for our sins. Reading the story of Jesus offers an opportunity to make new discoveries about the most significant man in the history of the world.

During and up to the 1950's the Polio Virus was worldwide, which resulted in many losses of life. Not unlike Corona Virus it struck without warning. Those who survived the Poliomyelitis virus often ended up on crutches, in Iron Lungs and wheelchairs. Lockdown then as now was believed to be the safest way to prevent this virus from spreading. As a fifteen-year-old Ward Helper in an Infectious Disease Hospital I nursed in ward 12 which was the Iron Lung Ward. I began my nursing Training when I turned 17 and continued for 35 years working in almost every area of Nursing. I married a very patient man and together we had three amazing kids who are now Adult Frontline workers. As well as Nursing, I went to University to complete training in Welfare. I then worked in Child Protection areas, Family Violence and Juvenile Justice. I founded Night Squad and worked with young teens with support of others as part of a team, supporting teens within the family environments. I have fostered some kids and now in my senior years I find myself living with and caring for two Women with disability. Retirement does not appear to relate to me. Probably it's a good thing. I have just completed 20 years on air as a radio announcer. And so here we are with another virus with the same concerns that existed in the past. Of course, we have epidemics, however Corona Virus and Delta like Polio, in the writer's view, was and is Pandemic, and we throughout the world find ourselves back in lockdown. Perhaps you will find some hope through these pages.

This is an eclectic set of stories that are designed to give you many different types of insight into the behaviour of men and what may motivate them to do the things they do or say the things they say. The stories can allow someone to think about their own character. What would they have done or said in the circumstances provided and to what extent do they worry about their effect on other people. Men always have the opportunity of choice. Women in particular will read this and think about the character of the man they want to be with. In the meantime they can use it to mess with their man's head. It could be entertaining for them to test his mettle. The book was all done in mostly a light and humourous tone and goes off on tangents sometimes if only to make a point or get a laugh.
