Is There Not A Cause? There are many books written about the Bible, except, this book goes much further. It traces its history to the earliest days. It helps readers to clearly distinguish reliable manuscripts from unreliable ones, all of which were used as a basis for giving us the Bibles of today, and one which has benefitted the English-speaking world as no other. It therefore details how the Authorized or King James Version has influenced English cultures across the globe, including religious revivals, education, science, technology, literature, and everyday phrases still in use to this day. This especially includes addressing the many unsubstantiated claims leveled against it, and remember, it has impacted our world like no modern version, none of which have even come close. Diminishing or even rejecting its One central character, Christ Jesus, is to invite confusion, and/or disillusionment into one's life concerning the Scriptures. For those who reject Him as the only way to access Heaven via salvation is to deny themselves ultimate entry into Heaven. After all, He truly is the GREATEST OF ALL CAUSES.

Sometimes we're so caught up in surviving, trying to make it to the next day in one piece, that we tend to forget what it was to actually live. Through all the grief, euphoria and woes of existence, we have found peace in incessant chaos. Like the spilt ink on once empty papers, we too have taught our feet to dance in between the shallow expectations and narrow lines of humankind. These pages hide the inconsistent words that mirror the uncertainties and instability of living.

Not many people would contemplate a 1500 km barefoot stroll along the highways and byways of France and Spain, but that is what the author did. Why? After a conversion to Christianity at age 50 he felt the Lord was calling him to do it. And he describes the experience along the centuries-old pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela as the foremost experience of his life. It took 111 footloose days. On the way he tape-recorded his journey for his wife in Australia, and he has used the 12 tapes so made as the basis of this account. Pilgrims in the days of his walk were rare creatures, and he felt the need with others to revive the spirit of pilgrimage. He founded the not-for-profit Pilgrims International, and led groups a biblical 40 days from the French Pyrenees to Santiago. Just one year before Covid-19 flattened the world, over 300,000 pilgrims arrived in Santiago. What may lift this book from the pedestrian, so to speak, into the heavenlies, are the dialogues Kosti has with Our Lord Jesus Christ.
