Across multiple ethnicities in Nepal, spices and herbs are used for ethno-medical purposes, which are recognized in the Ayurvedic medicinal system. This book will reveal why Nepalis make spice and herbs a part of daily cooking, where scientific reasoning corroborates the religious and cultural norms of our traditional cuisine, and how we make some of our time-honored tasty and healthy dishes.

Lil and Phil are the owner of two dogs, named Daisy and Pip. They live at a seaside resort in Mollymook Beach. It is a lovely place with lots of wildlife where the geese have found a little bridge to live under. Lil gave the geese names Jessy, Betty, Bessie and Henry. Each day the dog would chase the geese away, but the geese only flew a little way from the dogs. One day the dogs were awakened by the screams of young birds. They all raced out to the street and there before them were the geese with four young goslings in tow. From that time on the dogs did not chase the geese and the became friends.
