On a beautiful sunny morning, Annie's mum asks her to show Colin and Johnny around the campsite while they are there on holiday with their parents and are new to the area. The Peaceful Haven caravan site is on the outskirts of Newcastle County Down, overlooked by the beautiful mountains of Mourne. Johnny and Colin are both delighted to meet this beautiful girl and try to win her affections. They stroll along through the meadow when, suddenly, they are caught in a storm. They shelter under a big oak tree, but as the wind increases, the tree uproots itself, and they find themselves falling through a dark hole. They come face-to-face with King Anthus and the little people. They are angry at strangers entering their village and for interrupting the festivities. The king tells them that he cannot send them back until the two moons become one, so he invites them into his home. The king's brother, Luxbrithe, insists on finding their birth deeds as proof, since he believes he is the firstborn, so he demands the king to search the villages where their father had hidden them.Long ago, when Queen Elliana finds out that her handmaid is also having a baby, she decides to help the handmaid since she isn't married. Sissy agrees to hand over her baby to the queen and tells the king that she has given birth to twin boys. The doctor and Sissy are both sworn to secrecy, and Sissy is delighted that she can be near her son, but when they turned three, the queen tells Sissy that she has to find different employment since the Queen didn't want the boys to be dependent on Sissy. The queen's son is named Anthus, and Sissie's son is named Luxbrithe. The queen is told that she is dying, and she reveals the truth to the king. In order to protect the crown and Luxbrithe from ever finding out the truth, he hides the deeds in three villages. After the death of the queen, the king asks Sissy to come back to the house to rear her son as her own, but she feels the guilt of changing his life, so she decides not to tell him, and she moves away.In the present time, King Anthus goes in search of the deeds, and Annie, who is an expert in karate, offers her help, along with Johnny, a qualified doctor, and Colin, a student at the university. In their search, they fight the Zorries-half-breed of hogs and wild dogs-and the Witches, who are all helping Lizard, Luxbrithe's son, to try and stop the king's army from finding the deeds first.Sissy gets to meet her son when Antana brings Luxbrithe to her home. He knows that she helped rear him when he was small, and he feels a close connection. Only when Antana comes back does she tell him her story, and he is sworn to secrecy. When he hears that Sissy is close to death, he brings Luxbrithe, and he holds her hand as she passes through the world. He has no idea the woman he has feelings for is his own mother.

Billie and Bobby Boggie are sister and brother Boggies. They love to go on journeys around Bogland, which stretches from West Ditch to East Ditch and from the High Forest to the Low Woods. They never can journey too far, at least not as far as Fogland, home to the Fuming Beings. Also, they must be home in time for dinner, and they hate getting their feet wet. Bogs do get squelchy.Together, they dream of what lies undiscovered and beyond the horizons of Bogland. Billie has a magnifying glass, and Bobby has binoculars, things that come in handy for discovering the flora and fauna of the land.Today, something is awry in the peaceful bog. They have awoken to hear the furious whispers of Ma and Da Boggie. The native peat huts are in peril as turf is mysteriously going missing all over the land. Their Boggie homes are in danger, and a strange darkness has invaded the sunny homeland.Billie and Bobby do what they always do-they go on a journey. This one is different. They are on a mission to solve the turf mystery. Bogland reveals some magical inhabitants who help (and sometimes hinder) them along the way. The charm descends when they reach the Tree where they meet a bearded rhymer. Ragword tells them of the Ancient Deal that protects the homelands between the Boggies and the Fuming Beings. He leads them to a mischievous lion, and they meet a ghost who roams the Bog Woods. They escape the Deep Dark Pond, unravel the mystery of the turf, and together with their enchanted friends and the song of the Ghostgirl, reinstate the Deal with the Fuming Beings. And they get home in time for dinner.

  • - The Wind That Found Ink: a Journey of Thoughts Volume 1
    av T Lee-Poet
    241

Mix Pages. On a walk, train, bus, recording while driving or home made, poems, lyrics, thoughts, lessons, life experiences are written in Mix pages, some covert, all enwrapped with an inventive and inspired range of written forms to express life. A constant habit from early 1990's, till today, poetic lines, and feelings spill an inference of patterns, formulating original, no rule, some rules, metaphorically crafting interpretations of existence, seen and unseen, wise quotes to guide hearts. It's all poetry, with many sounds, giving space for thoughts to question, register, or ride waves with. A way to express life perspectives, pain, pleasures, advised solutions to intimate feelings and moments, through the hearts of many, South East London Local Poet, fluid through art, performs this through many creative mediums, a way of emancipation. "How you can recover from life challenges, Lee-Poet has the lyrical solutions." "Limitless thoughts" "messages to unanswered questions"

This book is about a journey-a journey to the centre of the universe-told by an awakened soul, spirit, and master self. We are all spiritual beings of light, walking through life in an organic vehicle to carry us through our lessons on earth. We do not understand the nature of true reality and have forgotten ourselves. I hope that the stories you read help you stretch your imagination to open the mind to the possibility of knowing oneself better and to understand that your dreams can become your reality. Love exists on every step of our journey, and within every step, there''s truth. Understand how to self-realise these truths and know that light shines within every living thing. • - Part 1 of the Andy Mcphee Trilogy
    av Kenn Gordon

The first novel entitled Altered Perceptions is the first part of a trilogy featuring Andy McPhee and Team Seven of the SIS Black Door Operations. SIS does exist, as do Black Door Ops. What goes on at CDE Porton Down is part factual and part fiction. Although this story is fiction, or you could say factional, the enriched uranium and plutonium did go missing from FBR Dounreay. The Secret Royal Navy program, the Vulcan Project, did take place between the RN and Rolls Royce. There were two major accidents at FBR Dounreay, and they were covered up. There is still two miles of off-limit shoreline, where pieces of plutonium are being found near Dounreay. Much of what happened in the first book did happen in real life. Some is, of course, pure fiction. Real names have been changed. The majority of the places exist.Gruinard Island was used by the British Government to test out bacteriological and viral spores of anthrax. The island remained uninhabitable for almost fifty years. The UK has signed up to the Geneva Convention that bans the use of chemical and biological warfare. Yet it continues to make these banned items. The UK is not alone in this. The USA, France, Belgium, Germany, along with the majority of countries in the west, are also part of it. Yet they condemn third-world countries who try to make them, and in some cases, they even supply these countries with the parts required to make them. That is a fact.

Over the ages, Christianity has experienced and endured many hardships, trials, struggles, martyrdoms, persecutions, and all sorts of pain for generations from since the church was born. But the actual fact is that the spiritual war that started at the creation of this present world between good and evil has been raging on over the ages and has never stopped. In fact, as the days go by and the end of the present system of things is coming nearer and nearer, according to the Bible, things are going to get worse and worse. This is what has been written in the Bible about Lucifer, the devil. However, the church still has to go on and not despair or lose hope. And most importantly, the church should not lose focus. Why? Because she believes in the almighty, powerful, and able God, the faithful God, the God of the universe, who is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. The Christian faith and hope is not hope in the human spirit, human goodness, human abilities, human qualifications, human intellectuality, human endurance, human experience, human plans, or human achievements. Rather it is hope in the power and faithfulness of the living God-the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Abraham''s God was and is the God of the whole earth. He is the God of Jacob, the father of the twelve tribes of Israel. Christianity believes in the God, who does not fail. This God is known for his abilities, which are unique and cannot be compared with anyone else or with any other god.

In February 2019, I travelled again to Ethiopia with the Hope for Ethiopia team attached to Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle in Belfast. We met once again with our brothers and sisters in Christ on our one-week visit. To say that our time spent there was blessed would be an understatement. During our time there, we had the opportunity to take part in worship and fellowship with them, but our hearts were again truly stolen by the children there. We took with us on the trip in excess of fifty suitcases filled with gifts for the children, simple and inexpensive gifts-a few T-shirts, underwear, a toy,and some sweets. Our reward was the tears of joy displayed on each little face. Perhaps it was a logistical nightmare in the packing and carriage of the suitcases, but in truth, the smiles on display made all the effort worthwhile. We visited three separate locations-Kuriftu, where we have a school, church, and clinic with over four hundred children attending the Christ Centered School; Bobaguya, where we have a Bible class and kindergarten for around sixty children, allowing their parents to find work; and finally, Ambo, where we have really seen the hand of God moving among his people in a makeshift church the congregation has grown to over three thousand worshippers! Even better was the news that greeted us there. This congregation, despite their poverty, have managed to raise over seventy thousand dollars for the provision of foundations for the newly planned church there. Hearts were melted among us by all we experienced. On my return, I resumed work on my poetry, invigorated by all that I experienced there. The format of Poems of Conviction: Volume 5 remains the same, and once again, all proceeds from the sales of these books will go directly to brightening up the lives of the children of Ethiopia. If you have purchased a copy, I offer my heartfelt thanks on their behalf. God Bless.

As I had mentioned before in my sixth book, I had already started my number 7. Writing becomes quite a habit, which I like very much of course. This seventh book feels rather fresh; many new ideas came up in my head. The poems are generally on handling lots of stuff. It''s not particularly soft like the fifth book, Never Give Up. On the other hand, it''s not as fierce and heavy as number 6, Stay Strong, was. It''s a unique collection of many repetitive poems-a style that I have improved a lot because I like writing like that even though it''s not always easy. The strength to keep on writing hasn''t left me even though bad experiences have been part of my life in 2017 and 2018 due to mistakes of other people who have robbed me in their smiling innocence. Writing makes me forget that many servicepeople aren''t good or willing to help you. But I believe in God.This seventh book, Higher Power, is also being published by Xlibris, as all the aforementioned.

Hi, my name is Aine Rutherford. I am now seventeen years old I started writing my book about my journey with depression in 2016 when I was 15. This book is about my teenage years with depression and bipolar disorder. I am writing this book to hopefully help someone out there and give them a big reminder they are not alone! I myself am a very talkative person when I'm in the right frame of mind. I love all my animals and I love my music. I suffered with depression now 6 years and I had my fair share of unwanted thoughts such as suicidal thoughts and thoughts about hating myself. This book is for helping someone out. Making someone smile or giggle at me and with me a bit and making them not feel so alone.
