Have you ever found yourself in a fight with your sibling that lasted a couple days? Months? Or, even years? Do you feel misunderstood or treated unfairly by members of your family? You are not alone. Thankfully God's word vividly illustrates many sibling relationships gone awry along with lessons to glean from psychological research providing insight, and modern day application. Let's be real- there is no picture-perfect family. Only on Instagram does that exist. And I guarantee you that behind that perfect social media post are imperfect people struggling to love and accept one another. While God created the family unit, He also calls us away from family at times, often to grow us and mature us into the person he wants us to become. His plans do not align with our cultural ideas of the family closeness we see depicted in the media as a reflection of our societal values. So, what happens when our plans and His plans for our families don't match up?

Paul was a firebrand picked up by God for a nebulous mission. He completed a colossal job during a time of great civilizational collapse. During an epoch of uncertainty, Paul came to the realization that the Crucified One was indeed the Immutable Truth. He poured out his life as a libation for the eternal Logos who had visited our cosmos. It was the experimentations in the laboratory of Paul's cerebrum that turned the Judeo-Christian ethics and Greco-Roman civilization into a conglomerate called the "Western Civilization." The mind of Paul was an academy of ideas, and we the lukewarm, shape-shifting people of the postmodern world have much to learn from him. His epistles are read every day, in every church, in every language, in every continent. It is my hope that the sheer energy pulsing through Pauline letters will certainly invigorate us to understand Paul's passion for the Pantocrator. Jacob C. Tony, MBBS, MD, MRCP(UK), MRCP (Ireland) is a practicing neurologist residing in Peoria, Illinois USA. He has authored five books on various topics of theology, metaphysics, and philosophy.

My original intention for this book was to have a series of Mini Lessons. I was actually going to label each lesson ML1, ML2, and so on. But after thinking about it a little while, I decided to go ahead and label each Mini Lesson as individual chapters. The difference about this book is that it has no particular subject flow to it. This is a series of different scriptural revelations I've received from the Lord over my last 40+ years as a Christian. As I received these various scriptural revelations from the Lord over time, I sat down and wrote them out at the time I received them. So I decided to put them into a book format. Some of this just might seriously step on some religious toes, but I hope that you will enjoy what the Lord has given me over the years. I, as the author of this book, absolutely hate religion. By religion I mean, anything any religion or religious organization attaches to the Word of God. One of the problems that I noticed in the church today, is that the majority of Christians don't think when they're reading their Bible. The only two reasons that I can think of, is that they're either told by their pastors what to think about a scripture or set of scriptures, which means they're reading with blinders on, or they're not paying attention to, or thinking about, what it is they're reading, which means that they have the attention span of a rock. This book here will knock the religion right out of some of the favorite scriptures lodged in religious heads. Please pay close attention to what I say here. If you have questions, take it up with the Original Author.

This book looks at the first 18 Chapters of the book of Psalms. Attention is directed to the relationship that God seeks to have with a human being. What is life with God like? 18 drawings are used, one for each of the 18 chapters. Each drawing visually depicts what one chapter reveals. The drawing is then used by a mentor with his mentee to teach the Psalm chapter. The key ingredient to interacting with God is simple: trust. Larry Jarvis is an Adult Sunday Class Teacher and has done so for some 50 years. Presently he teaches at Sanibel Island Bible Study, and substitute teaches at his two churches Sanibel Community Church in Sanibel, Florida and College Church in Wheaton, Illinois. Larry is a lawyer who for close to 50 years practiced intellectual property law, i.e., patents, trademarks and copyrights. He has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering. His law practice took him to eight different countries of the world, often with the task of explaining to a jury a highly complex invention. Larry resides in Sanibel, Florida with his wife Janet. They have four grown children and nine grandchildren.

When the quiet and diminutive Elian O'Connell inherited the mountain he had been born and raised on, his parents didn't tell him it came with a life threatening secret: a small village of winged fairies struggling for existence, hidden from the world in the caverns of a long lost gold mine. It was only a matter of time before Elian encountered a winged being who sought repeatedly to take his life to keep the secret of the fairy village hidden. The young man is forced to consider the implications of God having created winged beings: truly, who is the neighbor Jesus taught us to go and help, when it could cost us our future, our dreams and even our life. Tim Snodgrass is a career electronics engineer; he has designed all types of radios, starting from age 12. This passion led him to design radios for the U.S. military as well as other nations, and that led to an interest in world history, particularly ancient history. Extensive international travel, visiting ancient sites, working on an archeological dig and living abroad led Tim to take up writing Christian novels to express how God moves people in different ways in the world's many cultures. Some of his novels creatively use the lives of realistic characters to show the limitations of what evolution can do and how modern creation research affirms a Christian world view. Tim has written a historical trilogy placed in WWII, and multiple medieval and contemporary novels. Several of these employ unexpected uses of radios in the storyline to build moral strength and character into teenagers facing life's many difficulties.

It was a celebration to remember. A proclamation was sent out in the kingdom of Amira by Sovereign Apatmos for one and all in the kingdom to bring a gift to a celebration in honor of Elovah, the God of the Universe. However, it was the unexpected, simple gifts among the finest in the land that changed not only the minds but the hearts of those in the kingdom toward what it means to give of oneself. Author Daniel Smith provides readers with an engaging, heartfelt story about gratitude, faith, and selflessness through his children's fairy tale, The Most Special Gift.As all were grabbing up the best in the land as gifts for the celebration, many overlooked the two orphaned children who worked hard for what little they earned. Benny and Elvira wanted to also bring a gift to the celebration but between the two of them, not much was available. However, their decision to bring two gifts that meant the most to both of them would prove to be something that would change their lives, as well as the lives and mindsets of the kingdom, forever.Daniel began writing a story about the true meaning of giving gifts for a Christmas party years ago, but wasn't able to complete the story by the party. However, this seemed to entice his interest to write, creating three more fairy tales and a poem, all taking place in the magical land first set out in this story. He hopes that readers gain a stronger sense of the importance in giving gifts with no expectation for a return, which can help in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with someone.Just as Benny and Elvira hoped their gifts would please the Sovereign and Elovah, however meager the gifts might be, we can only hope what we present to God will mean something to Him and help others draw closer to Him.

Cambridge, Massachusetts 1980 Raven laid on the bathroom floor with her flaming cheek pressed to the cool tile. How long had she lain there? It had seemed like hours. Sitting up she looked at her watch, 40 minutes, only 40 minutes. The events of the morning were life altering. She could still feel the sting of the back of Kurt's hand on her cheek. "What did I do to deserve such a miserable life?" she moaned from the pain in her hip and ribs. She ran a washcloth under the cold water then grimaced as she held it to her cheek.Looking in the mirror she could see that the whole left side of her face was already turning a nice shade of blue. "Why does he always pick the face?" she asked.

When the people who were looked upon with the eyes of Jesus realized that those eyes recognized in them their lost and buried sonship, they were suddenly changed. It is His gift of grace that gives us new eyes, and we can see something divine in others. But first, we must be able to see ourselves with new eyes. I developed lie-based beliefs about myself as a child, and those lies had a devastating effect on my life. To the extent that my beliefs were distorted or poorly formed, my discernment and choices were flawed or wrong. We must seek God's truth in place of our lie-based beliefs not only to see the pearl in the mire, but also to recognize the sonship of God in ourselves and in others. "...you will know the truth and the truth will make you free." John 8:32 As Co-Founder and Director of Mount Horeb House, Annette has spent the last 20 years working primarily with women who have experienced abuse or neglect. Her other books include Built with Stones of Turquoise, Learning to Live and Walk in Freedom and a novel, The Hidden Journals of Mathias. As a life coach and conference speaker, Annette has deep insight into the thoughts and emotions felt during the healing process and brings God's truth to light in her writing and teaching. After you have toured and traveled with me through the many chapters of Wilma, it is my fervent hope that you will challenge yourself to take it a step further and share your gift of writing. Petition yourself and encourage others to write their memoires and lift up and promote the value of family history. To keep the foundation of the family alive and thriving, we dig deep within our roots with varied traditions and legacies, both individual and collected contributions. In our rich culture, we're still writing history, even today. And I encourage you to capture treasured oral and written history, especially from elder family members. Wilma was born in 1939 and spent her childhood in a small rural settlement called Caney Well, Texas (near Clarksville, Texas). This setting was void of paved roads, electricity, indoor plumbing, and bathrooms, compared to the conveniences we enjoy today. She is the product of a mother who was an entrepreneur, a freedom fighter, and a loving family. Wilma took these values and graduated from Langston University earning a bachelor's degree. She later earned master's degrees from Antioch of Ohio and National University of California. She is a passionate angler, entrepreneur, artist, insurance agent, and real estate investor. She has lived in Los Angeles, California where she taught school and mentored teachers in the Los Angeles Unified School District. She is inspired to press for maximizing knowledge and spreading historical contributions of life and history. The major thrust of the book is to inspire others to write their story.

A collection of poetry reflecting on themes of faith, family, seasons and life's challenges and victories. The descriptive language provokes the imagination, setting a tone to produce vivid images. The curious rhymes will surprise and delight readers as they move through poems communicating thought and reflection revealing striking sentiments and insight. 1957 I was born in Peekskill, New York. The beginning of my style writing is called simplistic poetry. I began writing at a young age in a children's home called St. Joseph's Village in Rockleigh, New Jersey. It is where my siblings and I lived many years. I am blessed for having been married with two children and grandchildren now. Throughout time the rollercoaster of life events gave way to my simplistic form of writing applied as poetry. It is what I know best in understanding for living and became a form of therapy.

Does your life seem to be under spiritual attack often - your family, your health, your finances? Delay, sorrow, grief: will it ever end? Trials from satan can come in many disguises, and can be very exhausting and heartbreaking to the believer in Jesus. Even when you've done everything right, things can still turn out wrong. My family and I have received our share of trials and sorrows: multiple miscarriages, an almost full-term pregnancy loss, job instability, more than one terrible health diagnosis, moving cross country, and losing friends and family. As we pressed into Jesus through every trial, it seemed the attacks from satan got worse. Looking back, I realized we had become a threat to the kingdom of darkness because of our intimacy with the Father. He was certainly not silent through all of this; as satan raised the bar, so did God with blessing upon blessing from heaven. He graciously favored us with an angel visitation, several miraculous healings, a whirlwind, heavenly snow, and more. We learned to enter God's rest no matter the trial, and so can you (Hebrews 4).It's not about the trials, because Jesus said they will come (John 16:33). It's about how you handle the trials as God's intimate friend that makes all the difference.Katie Lopez has dedicated her life to following Jesus Christ. At an early age, an angel saved her life. The supernatural experiences kept following her into adulthood where she and her family have experienced multiple miraculous healings, another angel visitation and more. She takes God at His Word; no matter the trial, Jesus has the answer. She is a wife and mother of three children (on earth) and more in heaven. She loves children deeply, and has been homeschooling for years. She and her family reside in Yulee, Florida. You can stay in touch with Katie at: You Tube Channel: Homeschooling for His KingdomWebsite: HomeschoolingforHisKingdom.com

This book is a collection of the spoken word in poetry and prose that portrays the passion of God's love for His children. It is also an expression of our response to God's love during times of sorrow and joy, repentance and reflection, triumph and failure. Through all the emotions of our life, He is there for us. It is my prayer that the poems contained in this book will fill your heart with the knowledge of the love He has for you, His beloved child. For aren't we all children of His mercy and grace?
