  • - What Most Preachers Don't Want You to Know
    av M Averial Owens
    181

Brilliant and eye-opening, an expose'' on how most modern-day preachers have been deceiving believers for decades. Many preach false and out of context teachings concerning the word of God, specifically about the New Covenant of Christ Jesus. The author unveils for you how we as New Covenant Christians are not under Old Covenant tithe Law! It saddens me to see our fellow believers every Sunday, like brain-washed zombies in fear of being cursed with a curse, begrudgingly surrendering a percentage of their income to a preacher who says that we are under the Old Covenant Law of tithing. In this book you will learn how to experience the freedom from fear by giving of your first-fruits (or firstlings), as Abel did in the Book of Genesis and God blessed him. This is only one example of the many false teachings the author will uncover for you in this book. After 50 years of studying the Bible, listening to thousands of sermons on tv, radio, and performing in churches across the country-most recently at Celebration Church in North Las Vegas, the author uses his profound experience to enlighten and inspire his fellow believers about the real good news concerning the New Covenant. He will also reveal the two verses of scripture that almost all preachers avoid talking about because they know it would expose their false teachings!A native of Atlanta and a product of the 1960''s, disillusioned by the free-love, hippie counterculture, Averial became born-again at the age of eighteen. He soon began a quest for truth concerning the elusive New Covenant which spanned over a period of 32 years. Becoming an accomplished musician, songwriter, and Bible teacher along the way, his quest ending successfully one day upon hearing a voice on the radio say, "I''m going to tell you something most preachers do not want you to know." It was Bob George teaching the truth about the New Covenant of Jesus Christ.

Few Bible study topics cause as much confusion, consternation or controversy as the study of Dispensational Theology. Because of this struggle, the study of Dispensational Theology is often, avoided. And if it is studied, it is only given token attention thereby forfeiting a grand opportunity to understand and celebrate the gracious, continuing work of God among His People Israel.Occasionally, a Bible student will answer the Lord's call to document the results of a study of this important topic. Discovering, understanding, organizing, and communicating the gleanings of their study, these students offer a unique opportunity to grow in our appreciation of God's revelation of this important doctrine.Ted Pestor is one of these students. After spending years of studying and teaching the important aspect of Dispensational Theology as a pastor/teacher, Ted offers us an opportunity to grasp the fundamental elements of this important doctrine. His systematic, comprehensive, and persuasive teaching in this volume provides us an opportunity to grow in our own understanding of this Bible doctrine and to prepare us to help others learn as well.Choosing to read and study this book will reward a learner with an unusual blessing as they dig deeper into the Bible doctrine of Dispensational Theology.Charles Gaston M Div.In a day of theological ambivalence, it is refreshing to read Ted Pestor's theological treatise, The Essential Criteria of Dispensational Theology for the Professional and Layperson, which while bringing a renewed understanding to the historical/grammatical interpretation of the Bible, emphasizes God's great unfolding drama of redemption as developed through the various dispensations. Especially of interest are his thoughts on the threefold rejection of the Godhead by the nation of Israel (rejection of the Father in the Old Testament Kingdom, rejection of the Son at the Cross, and the rejection of the Holy Spirit at Stephen's stoning). Any true student of eschatology ought to give serious consideration to the details reviewed in The Essential Criteria of Dispensational Theology for the Professional and Layperson.Rick Bloom MRE. Do you ever look around at what is happening in the world or read a scripture passage and wonder, "What in the world is going on and what is life's meaning?" This book emphasizes God's great unfolding drama of redemption as developed through the various dispensations. God's desire is for you to discover more of the dispensational symmetry and His works through the major seven dispensations and seven operating criteria found in the Bible since creation.Theodore Pestor BTH.

Strength and training are key words in our society today. We need to apply both of them in every area of our life. One area that lacks in most people's life is the spiritual aspect of strength and training. This Boot Camp will help develop a spiritual regiment in strength and training. Through daily discipline your spiritual muscles will grow and prepare you to face every conflict and adversity. Come and grow with me. Follow your daily exercises and enjoy the growth. Pastor Barak went through a major life altering moment where he lost everything that was important to him including his family, his ministry and his friends. After that moment in time he went on a journey to find a deeper spiritual walk and experience. The strength that developed in his heart and life helped create this book. Pastor Barak understands a new deep intimate relationship with Jesus that developed from this failure. A new found strength was found in Christ as Pastor Barak went through a new training in his life. Today Pastor Barak wants others to find new strength in Christ.

This little book makes some stunning observations: that the Transfiguration Scene is a visual prophecy, equating the future ministry of Elijah with the former ministry of Moses; that another Exodus is scheduled to happen, prophesied, and directly stated, in Ezekiel 20:33-44, in the NKJ version of scriptures., as well as supported in other OT and NT verses. It also disproves a teaching that Israel sees the Person of Jesus in the Zechariah 12:10 prophecy, but it points to "the spark will ignite the explosive End Times events" we know will happen, and that God will begin to directly interact with the Hebrew nation again! This not a scholarly study but calls on honest students of scripture to prove or disprove its thesis of the equivalency of the Elijah =Moses thesis, as it disrupts common teachings/understandings of the sequence of Last Days events. The study is presented to help clarify our view of God's plans for Israel through Elijah's ministry.J. F. Kennedy has loved Jesus and the Scriptures ever since he was 'awakened' to them in 1984, where his 'ears were opened ' to hear the Word, and ever since, has read and studied the scriptures via live and broadcast sermons.. He knows and values scripture's instruction to 'eat the Word and ' chew on it' with belief and digest it to receive the spiritual nutrition it offers to 'those who believe.' He has BS and MA degrees in business subjects from Temple U, 1987 and 1972, and worked as Business Manager for three nonprofit organizations. Afterward, he was blessed to be a painting contractor for several decades in a little green valley in north central New Mexico.

When researching for his previous book "Seventh Son, A Northeast Texas Boyhood," Roy found numerous anecdotes and testimonials in local newspapers across the South and Texas about his grandfather. The stories motivated him write about the Stuttering Preacher. The book details the traumatic personal losses of Rev. WHAT IS IN YOUR POCKET? It is no secret that there is a "Silent Majority" in America who are reluctant to share or act on their personal beliefs. Even many people say they are more afraid of public speaking than death. While we all have the "right to remain silent," Jesus, however, has commanded His disciples to love others, as He has loved them and share the Gospel Story of love and grace. This means at times, sharing one's own personal witness of their faith and what the Lord has and is doing in their own lives. This is not "A Disciple Book For Dummies," or considered "politically correct" by our present culture standards, but pages filled with encouragement for Christians to be faithful servant/witnesses and cheerleaders. When Jesus is truly the "Lord of our Christian life," His disciples will grow and mature in the Faith and be able to engage others through a personal ministry with boldness but yet gentleness to win them for the glory of the Lord. "WE WITNESS IN TWO WAYS; BY LIFE AND WORD....GOD'S PURPOSE... AFTER WE HAVE BEEN CONVERTED IS THAT WE BE WITNESSES TO HIS SAVING GRACE AND POWER." Billy Graham (Talks to Teenagers, Wheaton Miracle Books) In "The Little Cross In My Pocket," pastor and author, E. Wade Gregory and his wife and ministry partner, Onda, share their life of being servant/witnesses for over fifty years. The little pocket cross which says, "God Loves You," has been shared over hundreds of times with people from all walks of life, including even criminals. Amazingly, the responses were mostly positive and often miraculous. From Wade's long career journey from trading in his badge and gun for the Cross and the Bible, both he and Onda learned that an opportunity to share God's love often came out of the blue and right to the front door. This book is a series of true stories that is a reminder of the call the Lord Jesus has placed on the hearts of those wishing to be His faithful servants. Retired pastor and author, E. Wade Gregory and his wife, Onda, share their life of discipleship and ministry for over fifty years. Wade was called to pastoral ministry after a long career in the criminal justice system, first as a police officer and then as a juvenile parole agent working with delinquent youth. He was also a certified social worker who after almost fifteen years, traded his gun and badge for Calvary's cross and the Bible. He also served as a chaplain and an EMT. Wade and Onda still continue their personal, team ministry to this day sharing God's Love and a little pocket cross which says, "God Loves You!" THE ENTRANCE Into The Kingdom is an invitation to experience the joy and strength obtained through being filled with the Holy Spirit. The author takes you through scripture detailing the work of the Holy Spirit from before the new birth through the resurrection. The book offers an invitation to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit, an experience beyond description. The journey includes details from scripture in obtaining greater intimacy in your relationship with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The church today has fallen far from the New Testament Church living and witnessing in the power of the Holy Spirit. Be prepared to encounter: - God as an extravagant lover of all people - How to return extravagant love to God - Biblical assurance of salvation - Receiving the Spirit and the power of praying in the Spirit - The necessity of the baptism in the Holy Spirit in end times - Joy and peace in challenging and uncertain times The Holy Spirit is moving around the world, restoring the bride of Christ to no less than the original church where the gospel is both seen and heard. Will you be a part of it? Wayne Vermeer is a retired math teacher, where he was director of Youth for Christ. His career was followed by seven years as director of visitation ministry in his local church. He is currently active in HOME (House of Missions and Equipping) ministry, where he is active on intercession and healing teams. Wayne is also on the board of Katelyn's Fund Orphan Ministry. He has always been active on many mission trips, teaching, and speaking, primarily on the Holy Spirit and the second coming.

A gift of a journal was given to her as a graduation gift, but not feeling she could be a writer, the journal was placed on a shelf and forgotten for a while. However, the unexpected happened one day to author Candice Wilson, as she felt the urge to put pen to paper in her journal and write everything down: her thoughts, her feelings, and her perspective on the world, especially as a young, Black woman. Eighteen years later, she made the choice to share with the world these writings and her relationship with God, resulting in this book, In My Own Words: Thoughts From a Pretty, Brown Girl Who Loves the Lord. The poems and short stories depict the ever-changing experiences of the author, from struggles in understanding men and relationships to being socially aware as a Christian woman living in a fallen world. Ranging from comical to thought-provoking to heartfelt, Candice leaves everything on the pages as she opens up her heart and faith to readers. Her hope is that those reading her poems and short stories will be inspired to do the same, in picking up a journal and writing their thoughts to be shared with others. Writing can stir up others' faith and understanding of who God is; that He is a God of love and grace, not a genie who gives you anything you want in an instant. They may be Candice's own words written on paper, but they are the thoughts, emotions, passions, and beliefs that she shares with other brothers and sisters in Christ. Just as God created Candice special and with purpose, He has done the same for every one of us. Candice is a native New Orleanian whose interests and passions are quite diverse. Her interest in mathematical and health sciences are utilized in service to her alma mater, Xavier University of Louisiana, as an assessment director. Her passions for music, mentoring and dance are regularly on display at her church home, New Hope Baptist Church. Candice considers herself, not only a Christian, but a follower of Christ. She intends to continue documenting words of encouragement and life lessons to edify God's people. As Matthew 5:16 instructs, she will let her light shine before men for God's glory.

Prophetic Diary of Prayer Pioneer is full of supernatural encounters that span decades of the authors life. These encounters began at an early age and increased in diversity of divine visitations, spanning from visions, dreams, audible voices of supernatural beings. It also shares prophetic words voiced by men and women of God who were used as vessels to relay his message and or confirm what he had already spoke to her. Then it takes you into her personal life stories, that encompasses the timeline of many of the encounters that she experienced as an adult. Are you new to the Christian faith? Do you wish you could easily find the people, stories, events and places in the Bible that everyone talks about? Do you feel unsure when called upon to answer a Biblical question? Then this book is for you. It will give you an overview of Scripture to familiarize yourself with the overall layout and placement of the books. It will give you brief bios of many main characters along with the Scripture reference where they are found. It will give you summaries of events, places and things also with references. And, finally, it will give you an easy, yet comprehensive, guide on how to study the Bible, so that you can continue your wonderful journey to unlock the incredible truth found in God's Word. Author, Rich Jensen, came to trust in Christ later than most. Realizing his lack of Biblical knowledge, he felt led to write a book which would give anyone basic knowledge of Scripture. That idea took a back seat while he began writing devotionals which became the basis of his first book of devotionals, "WOW Weekly". After some years, he developed what would be the right format and content for "A Primer for New Christians". His hope is that it would foment a deep desire on one's part to continue studying Scripture.

They were a hard-working family that wanted to make an honest living for themselves and their future generations; yet, for the Aplin family, their desire to live out the American Dream was anything but times of happiness. In the new book, Prey for the Enemy, author Annie Aplin recounts the tragic saga to befall her family when they took part in the seafood industry in small town, Seadrift, Texas. After a tornado devastated the family farm in Georgia, the Aplins and their eight children decided to enter the seafood industry in Florida. Noticing the seafood market was better in Texas, the family moved to Seadrift and saw their investment in the market thrive. That is until they dealt with the massive influx of Vietnamese fisherman after the fall of Saigon. Tensions continued as the family noticed, and even caught, the fisherman stealing out of the family's traps, but the struggle took a fatal turn when six fishermen shot and killed Annie's brother, Billy Joe, after he confronted them about their threatening actions toward the family. Six months later, after even more threats were sent to the family, Annie's sister and brother-in-law, Josie and Dale, turned up missing and were later found dead. One would think that such clear, malicious actions would be properly punished by the government, but the Aplin family found the opposite happen, as the local government said there was nothing they could do and the media portrayed their story with lies and deceit. Prey for the Enemy is Annie's call to action to the government and American citizens everywhere that what happened forty-one years ago, in 1979, shouldn't continue to happen today. Yet it still does, and Annie still fights for justice and change to happen for immigration laws and regulations so her family didn't die in vain.

    av Damian L Boyd

Suffering is unfortunately something we must endure in this life, even if you are children of God. Suffering comes in all forms, from minor disappointment to major hardship, and no one is spared from it. Hardship was also part of author Damian's upbringing, growing up dealing with poverty, homelessness, and a father who wasn't there. Such situations could have anyone bitter about life and God. Even as a father he must continually wrestle with discouragement while raising a son with complex medical needs who requires full assistance for daily living. However, as he demonstrates in his new devotional, The Hope Challenge Devotional, suffering can actually lead to spiritual growth in a person, if he or she sees that God is there and leading them through the trial. This was made evident to him through the creation of this devotional, which he calls a "culmination of prayers, tears, lessons, and a refusal to give up." With the fifty days of devotional messages, Damian offers keen insight into ways the Bible shows us how to be uplifted in the midst of difficulties. Readers will see how we should view pain in ourselves and others, why it is important to learn from our mistakes, and the all-important understanding of why forgiveness is necessary, among other topics. Daily challenges are combined with the messages to prompt readers to take practical steps in putting theological understanding into their circumstances. Through this devotional, readers will find encouragement and renewal in their hope in God to help them overcome life's circumstances.

This book or rather group of short stories/homilies are written from a viewpoint of how God has provided truth in the scripture to apply to the many situations that life presents and gives us guidance through pain, fear, failure and success. The reflections that play out in these stories show the truth of Gods promise to be with us and show Himself in life as it happens and that God is the breath and wisdom of our lives, not just a Sunday morning visit to a pew. In whatever we face and in whatever we experience, whether we view it as good and wonderful or painful and trying, God can be found directing us, counselling us and holding us upright in the journey. Jesus is the great friend and the Holy Spirit the great companion as we face the challenge of whatever fires are before us. Through addiction, trauma and life God has not altered, never given up on me and has been faithful to show himself through the greatest storms and during the greatest times of peace. Jesus is hope. Born in Austin Texas the youngest of 7 children I grew up in the central Texas area as the son of a roofer. Dropping out of school to join the navy at age 17 where I spent two hitches and traveled the world, got arrested often and drank too much. Began a firefighting career in 1985 and served 22 years with a large metro department and then serving as a fire chief for smaller departments until 2020. Serve as pastor of a small Texas town church. Married, 1 son, 2 daughters, 3 step daughters, 14 grandchildren. Saved by Jesus 1982.

With the tap running there is uncontrollable release because of the pressure from God. Burden of His grace, goodness, mercy, kindness, joy, blessings, peace, help, healing, strength, love etc. Whatever we want from the Father is given already. We just have to take, receive, and experience it. God is intentional in releasing everything good into our lives whether we like it or not, whether we accept it or not, whether we use it or not. He is still releasing it. There is constant supply of whoever and whatever God is and has. Supply is only cut off when there is a debt owed. For mankind there is no debt to pay. Jesus has already paid the debt for our sins forever. There will never be another debt to pay, ever. Therefore the supply running from the tap is constant. Linda Ozoemena, began her first eight years in the UK, before leaving for Nigeria. There life was new, but at times was bleak. However, it was in these times that the basis of many questions was formed, many of which began with, 'why'. Linda, at this point of questioning, had to believe and trust that there is something more to receive and give in life. With little left physically and mentally, Linda turned what remained of her hope in life towards God to satisfy her many questions. She has since developed in and recognised her relationship with God, which has led her to some of the most significant times in her life, including changing the narrative of her story. She writes to help readers understand and accept who they truly are, to begin living the exceedingly abundant lives, only through Jesus Christ. She says, we have been restored to the image and likeness of God, and to everything mankind had in the beginning of creation. She is peacefully married with two children.

Has anyone ever told you that you were worthless, lazy or would never amount to anything? Human beings don't often realize the power of their words, but they are very powerful indeed. At times, our words can unintentionally scar people we love; other times, the attack is intentional. Even though, deep inside, we know these sharp words aren't true, it can be very hard not to internalize them. "You are worthless," quickly becomes, "I am worthless," and the more we think that way, the more likely we are to believe it. Regardless of what people say, the Bible tells us over and over again what God thinks of us, and His thoughts are full of love and hope. Learning to internalize these truths can undo the damage of negative talk and help us understand our true worth. That's what this book strives to do - undo the negative thinking we've picked up over time and replace it with healing promises from the Word. Jim is a new author who felt compelled to write a book documenting verses in the bible that confirm how much he and every one of us is loved by our Heavenly Father.
