  • - The journey of two souls and how they both heal together in the most unusual way.
    av Eli K Anyadi
    186,-

Many Christians nowadays have preconceived ideas about the Lord and how He works. They believe that He should show up and move on their behalf using certain methods, and when He doesn't do as expected, they become disappointed. These Christians have put God in a box, not realizing that their belief system can cause them to miss out on the blessings that God does indeed have for them. Blessings in Disguise: The Journey of Two Souls and How They Both Heal Together in the Most Unusual Way by Eli K. Anyadi is an inspiring story which describes how God used unexpected circumstances to impact the lives of two people who were desperately in need. Based on true events in the author's life, the book follows the journey of Kwami, a Ghanaian international student who is searching for a job in order to provide for his basic needs, and Bailey, a troubled four-year-old girl whose parents are trying to find a way to help her overcome her crippling fears. Weaving together the two narratives until they collide into one, Eli shares his powerful testimony of how the Lord ministered to him in an unfamiliar and unexpected way, showing readers that God is always working behind the scenes on our behalf, even when we do not see it. In these current times of uncertainty and difficulties, Blessings in Disguise is a welcome reminder to us that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts truly higher than our thoughts. Eli K. Anyadi, a husband and a father, is a Christian author based in Maryland, who was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa. He moved to the US permanently after pursuing an MBA degree in healthcare management and is passionate about shepherding young adults to be better Christians.

  • - My Story of Resolve and Restoration
    av Ava Grace
    270,-

When you met us, you formed opinions - and that's okay. From all outward appearances, we were living the good life; but, like so many of you, we had a family secret. As young adults, we make plans. As mature adults, we look back and ask the question: "How did we get here?" Sometimes we forget that during life's journey "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12). We try to navigate the challenges of life on our own. When our efforts are not successful, we may fall to a place of helplessness and hopelessness. In that place, God can show you that He restores. This book is for those of us who have suffered and continue to suffer from the behavior of an addict and our response to that behavior. This book is especially for those who thought their beliefs and faith would buffer them from the difficult challenges that this type of life would bring and is a reminder to us all that it is possible to move forward and mature into flourishing human beings despite difficult circumstances.

The Battlefield of the Workplace is about maintaining a Christian lifestyle by balancing work and faith. It is not about a particular company or job. It is about letting down your guards and trusting God's Word to lead you on the path to your purpose. It can sometimes become a war between what we think or feel like we should be doing versus God's Plan. This 30-day devotional outlines scriptures in the bible followed by journaling that will serve as a guide into the purpose God has for you. Tawana Michelle Williams, M.B.A./HRM grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. She is the single mother of two daughters and owner of Williams HR Consulting Group, LLC. The purpose of this book is to show young Christians how God is directing his life. When a young Christian is growing in his faith, he will grow to maturity in knowing God's will for his life. He will learn how to love his neighbors. He will learn how to forgive always. He does not keep grudges to anybody. He confesses his sins daily without reservations. He prays unceasingly because without prayer he cannot connect with God. The process of maturing in Christ takes time. It's a lifetime journey.Always remember that a Christian has two natures, the new and the old.The old nature is the original sin of man inherited from Adam and Eve.Every time man sin, it comes from the old nature. The new nature is the new birth given by God when a person is born again. Every time a person is Godly and sinless, it comes from God. Therefore, the same person has these two natures. Even though Christians have the new nature, the old nature never leaves us. Whenever we sin, that comes from the old nature. Always confess our sins without reservation. Leviticus 11:44 says, "I am the Lord your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy." I was born in the Philippines on January 8, 1941 and lived there till I was about 27 years old. In 1965 I applied for the Third Preference Permanent Residence Visa and on April 19, 1968, I immigrated to the United States and arrived in San Francisco, California. In my early 30's, I started reading and studying the Bible daily. When I turned 50, I was baptized and became born again. Now in my 70's and with God's help, I wrote my only book, "The Days I realize, when God was directing my life".

  • - (Jerusalem, AD 70 & the Parousia)
    av L D Swift
    290,-

The eschatology of the Christian era has been grossly misconstrued in modern books and movies. It is outlined by the Lord in his Olivet Discourse. In Part I (Mt. 24:1-35) Jesus describes the tribulation period and the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70 in significant detail. In Part II (Mt. 24:36-25:30), he describes an undefined period like the days of Noah preceding his coming (Gr. Parousia) at the end-time to judge the world. Part III (Mt. 25:31-46) describes the final judgment. Beyond what is revealed in the Olivet Discourse, the New Testament provides few details of the Christian era beyond the fall of the Roman Empire. The Apocalypse is a trope of the Christian era from c. AD 66 or 67 through the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70 (ch. 18) and the fall of Rome and its false religion (ch. 19). Beyond these two events, the Revelation mentions briefly only the millennial reign of Christ, the loosing of Satan at the end-time and the final judgment in chapter 20. In chapters 21 and 22, John sees a vision of man's eternal home with God. After earning a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from New Mexico State University, L.D. Swift worked for Motorola Government Division in Scottsdale, Az. designing microwave circuits and antennas. He then attended the Bear Valley School of Biblical Studies to prepare for the ministry. This led him to full-time and part-time ministerial work in Missouri and Texas for many years. During those years, he worked for an engineering firm in Abilene, TX that designed power plants, electrical substations, power lines, gas and oil refineries, and waste-water treatment plants. He later completed a M.S. degree and Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) after which he taught physics at UTA, electrical engineering at Lamar University and New Mexico State University and physics at the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, NM. During this time, L.D. continued to serve in the ministry, teaching and preaching whenever possible. L.D. counts himself truly blessed to have influenced the lives of many students and to have served the Lord in ministry. Now retired, he continues to study God's Word, devoting his time to writing and teaching home Bible studies. He has been married for 53 years to a beautiful lady, Dana L. Swift, and he has two grown children, Melissa and Michael. He also has a wonderful son-in-law, Roman Mayo, married to Melissa.

  • - Biblical Guide to Building a House of Prayer
    av Audrey Church McIntyre
    250,-

Could it be that the Tabernacle is a rough blueprint of Heaven? God's Master Plan is buried deep within the Tabernacle. The blueprint given to Moses from the finger of God all points to the Great I AM. After His people were set free from bondage, the LORD called them to build a Tabernacle, a House of Prayer so they could dwell in harmony with HIM, the Creator of the Universe. That assignment never changed. Through the Tabernacle the Lord gives us the right, as well as authority and power to become sons of God. (Galatians 4:6-7) So, where is the Tabernacle today? "Don't you know that you are God's Temple and the Holy Spirit resides inside you?" I Corinthians 3:16 This book is a guide using the Biblical Tabernacle format to show you how to build a House of Prayer...a Tabernacle where the Spirit of God dwells...in you! AUDREY CHURCH MCINTYRE is founder and senior leader of House of Good Hope-Hartford House of Prayer, a transdenominational house of prayer in Connecticut's state capital. Over the past 20 years Audrey served in many leadership roles, both in local churches and across the New England region. It is Audrey's vision to see every believer know his authority in Christ through establishing a deeper intimate relationship with the Lord. A few years ago the Lord revealed His plan that Audrey is to teach the people how to connect with the Lord using the ancient pattern of the Tabernacle, which was the original House of Prayer. Since then, Audrey has taught on the Tabernacle and Tabernacle Prayer in prayer retreats, Bible studies, Tabernacle Prayer encounters, and in Bible schools around the world. Audrey can be reached through her website: hartfordprayer.com or by email: hartfordprayer@gmail.com. "Nothing happens except that which is in answer to prayer" (John Wesley)

  • - A Study of Psalm 120-134
    av Dr Byron Allen
    260,-

The fifteen Psalms, 120-134, are given a basic metaphorical interpretation. The metaphor is of a group of people on a spiritual journey from a life of problems to a lifestyle of praise and fellowship with God. Three important annual feasts of Israel, Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles required every male of Israel to appear before the Lord. (Exodus 34:23). These Psalms may have been sung by a company of pilgrims traveling to Jerusalem to attend the feasts. (Psalm 42:4, and Psalm 122.) The word for pilgrimage is used to describe the journey up to Jerusalem. The word may refer to the fact that the city of Jerusalem, with its twin hills of Mt, Moriah and Mt. Zion, became the site of the Temple of God and the throne of David. Each Psalm has the heading A Psalm of Degrees. There are many explanations for the significance of the heading. The word translated degrees can also mean ascent. Jerusalem is geographically elevated above the surrounding area. The journey starts in Mesech (Psalm 120:5-7) and ends in the house of the Lord, or Moriah. (Psalm 134.) This being true, the journey starts with problems in Mesech and ends in praise in Jerusalem. Dr. Byron Allen, Jr. is retired after serving for about sixty years as pastor of churches affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. These churches have been located in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard Payne University with studies in Bible, English, History, and Greek (1951). He received a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1968) and a Doctor of Ministry degree (summa cum laude) from Bethany Divinity College and Seminary (1986). Dr. Allen is familiar with the biblical languages (Hebrew and Greek) and uses them to glean fresh and meaningful messages from Bible words. Previously published books by Dr. Allen include Pray Like This: Nine Modes for More Meaningful Praying; His Excellent Name: A Thirty-Day Devotional Study of Names of God; In His Presence: A Study of the Presence of God and a Fresh Insight into Worship and Music; In the Garden, A Book of Devotional Studies with special emphasis for caregivers; and The Praying Prophet, A Study of a Conversation with God About Prayer based on the Old Testament book of Habakkuk; From Problems to Praise, A Study of Psalm 120-134. Dr. Allen's purpose in publishing these books is to help Christians develop a close personal and meaningful fellowship with God and grow in the art of worshipping God.

  • - Resolving Mankind's Cosmic Debate
    av John Dayton
    310,-

Do you recall gazing into infinity on a star filled night and wondering how all those celestial bodies came into existence? Since the beginning of recorded history, mankind has theorized and debated, not only his placement and significance in the universe, but also whether the universe was the result of a great creation or was it always in existence. This book is about resolving mankind's cosmic debate. In the last two centuries a great divide, fueled by a supposed expanding universe and evolutional theories, has separated the camps of scientific based evolutionists and religious theologians. This book analyzes relevant historic theories about the universe and draws some startling new fact-based conclusions that dispel several of the current popular theories about the Cosmos and formulates a new theory about everything. It appears that cosmologists should have paid more attention analyzing assumptions behind their theories and less time trying to support their own perspectives. This new factual based revelation formulates a nexus between scientific evidence and religious teachings, which bridges the great cosmic divide. A native California, he graduated from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo in 1975 as a Mechanical Engineer with a Nuclear concentration. He worked 36 years in the electrical utility industry within Power Generating. He learned how to resolve complex technical problems by gathering and analyzing factual information, challenging assumptions, analyzing the many variables, and finding workable solutions. He also used these same problem-solving techniques to debate and distill the truth about various subjects outside of engineering. Married to Christine, they have raised two lovely daughters and are now enjoying being grandparents. For many years he pondered the genesis of the Cosmos. As a Christian, he searched for the nexus between science and creation, hoping to provide an explanation that would unite science and religion. Being retired, he has put his energy into one of his passion to write about what he has uncovered in the science of cosmology. He believes that how we grow and learn to question and solve complex ideas, is essential to helping us unlock the truth behind unresolved questions, and even help us to sort out the origins of the universe.

The United States is on a shocking pathway to totalitarianism; Socialism is just a milestone. Growing numbers of conservatives AND liberals have publicly warned of the numerous, increasingly conspicuous signs. Lethargic, apathetic, largely silent Judeo-Christian believers and their leaders have been among the most profound enablers of America's modern flight away from God. The common refrain, "I keep my politics and religion separate"is a powerfully deceptive delusion. America's freedom, greater than any since the Garden of Eden, is a gift from God, not a grant from government. His great gift must be actively protected by believers, who are the conscience of the nation. When believers are silent, the nation has no conscience. A nation without a conscience is on a suicidal path. Nearly four centuries of seamless observations, by the most prominent American leaders have compared America to the Biblical Promised Land. God's overwhelming blessings have been historically unprecedented. Until recently, love of God has sustained a United States envied worldwide. As America increasingly runs away from God, His hand of blessing is slowly withdrawn. The coming collapse can only be prevented by energized, fervently praying, awakened and fully engaged believers; without them America will collapse. Lloyd H. Stebbins, Ph.D. has been a lifelong Christian having extensive experience in a broad range of ministries. His private work spans several industries and included over 20 years as an environmental consultant. Since then, he has taught both science courses and MBA courses in several universities. His publishing experience includes a doctoral dissertation, hundreds of articles for periodicals, and four recent books: 1) America: Dark Slide-Bright Future, 2) Target America-Target You! 3) Wake Up America or Die! The Undeniable Crisis, and 4) Wake Up America or Die! The Awesome Remedy

Geraldine was born in St. Louis, Missouri; lived briefly in Fayette, Mississippi after her unwed mother became ill; then returned to St. Louis to live with a great aunt and her abusive husband. At age ten, her mother returned and rescued her. Up until age fourteen, she believed her name was Geraldine Maxine Sullivan West, only to find out it was really Geraldine Jackson. It was a time of much pain and confusion. Geraldine's mother never discussed any of her failed relationships including the one with her father. Watching her own mother fall in and out of love with two different men, affairs that produced four younger siblings but no marriages, Geraldine met and fell in love with her future husband when she was just 17 years old. He was a married man and father. Soon she became a mother and bride of a divorcee who continued to be Mr. Romeo. When her husband was called to the ministry she took on the role as a pastor's wife despite the added challenges. As a working professional, Geraldine endured extreme racism and sexism within an organization that could not block her path to greatness no matter how massive the effort. Her mother's love child and father's rejected child, Geraldine lived a life determined to prove that she had value. All the time believing she had to prove it to others, in reality she was proving it to herself. She became a master at hiding her real reaction to the insensitive and sometimes cruel world that surrounded her. At age 81, Geraldine decided it was time to introduce herself to her children and grandchildren who question who she really is as well as those who may find interest in reading her story, UNAPOLOGETICALLY ME. Geraldine "Geri" Smotherson is a retired Manager of Training for the United States Postal Service. During her Postal career, Geri developed the first National Diversity Training Program and the National New Employee Orientation. She is proud of starting her own business called Training Options Plus, earning her GED, a bachelor's with an emphasis in Training & Development, and a master's in Adult Education. She was married to her late husband for 57 years and is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In contrast to her many accomplishments, Geraldine considers herself to be an extreme introvert, however, many whose lives she has touched would beg to differ.

Staying Sane While Loving Someone with a Mental Illness ----- Loving someone who has a mental illness can be as difficult as having the illness itself. It is even possible for those who love someone with a mental illness to suffer even more than their loved one who has the diagnosis. Their pain is your pain. Their struggle is your struggle. You are their mental health coach, life coach, and advocate. And yet, who is caring for you? How do you keep from being 'done in' by the roller coaster of mental health recovery? How do you find hope in the midst of what seems to be a hopeless situation? How do you as their loved one hold on to hope for them and yourself? How do give them hope much less hold onto hope yourself? That's what this book is about. It's about giving you hope. This book will empower you to hold onto hope while offering hope to your loved one who has a mental illness. This book is for you, the loved one. Our intent is to empower you to live well, give you hope and the strength to hold onto that hope in spite of the ups and downs of your loved one's recovery journey. We hope to provide you with practical insights, cause you to think, encourage you to find healing, and most of all to assure you that you are NOT alone. You can become the hero against the villain of mental illness in your life. Brad and Donna Hoefs are college sweethearts who have been married for over 40 years. They are blessed with two children and four beautiful grandkids. They have served in the ministry of the church for the past 35 years: Donna as a worship leader and teacher, Brad as pastor. Carolyn is just an average person like yourself. But what inspired Carolyn to write this book was the journey God took her on because she felt something was missing, and she asked God the question, "Is there more to this thing called Christianity?" Her journey to find the truth took her to three states and three different churches, and each one gave her more insights into her question. Those answers also gave her a deep understanding of who and how to be the Bride of Christ. But those answers also revealed shocking revelations and truths that the Christian church has been clueless about for many generations. Since the return of Jesus, for His Bride, is fast approaching, Carolyn felt compelled to share these revelations with her Christian brothers and sisters. This book is the church's wake-up warning. Carolyn Glass grew up in New York state. Being an only child, she developed a love for reading and grew to appreciate the tranquility of being by herself. She now lives in a rural setting in Tennessee with her husband of forty years, four cats, and three dogs. Surrounded by the serenity of nature, her soul soars to new heights as she listens to God's quiet voice in her daily living.

  • - Purposefully Living Out the Character of Christ in Our Marriage and Family
av Tim Webster & Lara Webster
    350,-

We were young, and we knew little about marriage and parenting, but we knew that if we didn't have a plan for keeping Christ in the center of our homes, we'd soon be like most couples around us. We'd be floundering as we ran the rat race of life, simply trying to make it through each day. We wanted more. We wanted a marriage where there was intimacy. We wanted to impart crucial truths to our children. We wanted to build our homes with purpose. We wanted Christ at the center. With this goal in mind, we came up with seven core character qualities of Jesus that formed the structure for our pursuits in our marriage and our family: passion for God, unity in our family, responsibility, purity, others' needs first, stewardship and excelling in gifts. This book describes what we did to develop these character traits of Jesus in our personal lives, in our marriage and in our home. Tim Webster has been a pastor for 35 years. He graduated from Washington Bible College with a BA in Bible, Capitol Bible Seminary with a MDiv, and Catholic University with a MA in biblical languages. He was married to Lara for 15 years until the Lord took her home to heaven at the age of 39 from glioblastoma cancer, leaving behind Nathan (12), Rebekah (11), and Mark (8). Tim and Lara taught often on marriage and family before her homegoing. It was always their dream to put the lessons God taught them into book form. This book is the realization of that vision.

I am someone who never learned what the meaning of true love was until I was grown. What does the word love means is it something we just say or feel . You will learn what real love is and what it means to truly love someone else but first love yourself. There are many different types of love. Which do you want in your life. As you read place yourself in the book and see if that's the love you want. I'm just a young woman with a family that wished I would have learned about this amazing love at an early age. Now all I'm trying to do is share with others God's beautiful love.

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." - Martin Luther King Jr., "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" In this life, we will face injustice at one point or another. The question is, what format that injustice will take. When our time comes, what do we do? How do we stand up against injustice while remaining hopeful and encouraged against pressure and pain? Persevering Under Pressure: Patiently Pursuing Justice by Pastor Brian Watson and Minister Renee Watson is a powerful book which takes readers on the authors' years-long battle with injustice from a former employer that led to forced unemployment and the difficult ordeal of fighting for their rights. Contrasting their personal life experiences with those of several biblical characters who also suffered injustice, such as Joseph, Abraham, and Job, Pastor and Minister Watson share wisdom and insight with readers on how they gained strength from Scripture to overcome their own battles and walk away stronger in their faith, marriage, and ministry. A timely topic in today's world, no matter what type of injustice you are currently facing, the authors are here to remind you that it is not too big for the Lord. Come along on the journey with the Watsons and be encouraged while you patiently pursue justice, learning strategies you can implement to win with the Word. You are an overcomer, and you will persevere! Pastor Brian Watson and Minister Renee Watson are native Washingtonians. Both were educated in the DC Public School System. The hills of the Osage lie within an area of transition between the eastern deciduous forests of the Ozarks and the tallgrass prairie of the western high plains. This region, known as the "Cross Timbers," was largely shaped by the effects of fire. The history that resonates here has been written by the Native American, rogue outlaw, Civil War soldier, and the early pioneer. These hills were once covered by a shallow sea and were tread upon by giant mammoths followed by grizzly bear, wolves and bison. From this rich history has arisen the legends and lore that still today follow those that walk through the hills of the Osage. Greg Bersche was born in 1960 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma where he was raised until attending Oklahoma State University in 1979. He graduated in 1983 with a degree in Wildlife Ecology. The author worked as a Federal Park Ranger for 35 years in Montana and throughout Oklahoma. He also served as director of the Royal Ambassadors (RA) Program from 2003 - 2020 at Lakeview Southern Baptist Church in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Based on his RA ministry, the author has previously published another book titled Christ In Wildness, an instructional manual for teaching young boys primitive outdoor skills as a Christian ministry.

This is my journey, from consciousness, to being born, and how God delivered me through all the things that life throws at us. I share my first thoughts, and how I survived abandonment, sexual assault, and health problems from cancer, drug abuse, two strokes, and severe depression. God brought me through it all, with His Word, and my guardian angel. I hope that it will help someone else be an overcomer, and allow God to guide them, as He has led me. I am a mother, a Christian, and a retired RN. I have four sons, about nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. I worked as RN for about 13 years, until I had cancer and two strokes, which ended my nursing career. After the first stroke, something happened in my brain, which stirred up my creative side, and I wrote this book. After I wrote From Eternity into Time and Back Again, I wrote Storm Warnings, and Caught Up In the Storm. Now I am working on the third book in the "Storm Warning" Series, Fire Storm.
