Through my relationship with Christ, I was able to allow Him to really deal with the matters of my heart. • - From Darkness to Light
av Leah Bickel & Christina Della Nebbia-Arevalo Ph D
    250,-

This is a book about the amazing love, mercy and healing that is available to us from our Heavenly Father and his beloved son Jesus Christ. This book highlights the role of the Holy Spirit in our connection with God, and how the gifts that are bestowed upon us can help others and glorify God. Through the trials of 3 women all connected by God's hand, testimonies of love, forgiveness and healing are told. The message is simple: God is love and he wants to lavish his love upon us, His children. Turning to him earnestly can change our lives on this earth and beyond if we allow Him to become a real part of our lives. The book talks about miracle healings, but also suffering and why some who ask for prayers to be answered in a certain way do not get their answers right away or in the manner they desire. Trusting in God to answer each prayer perfectly and within His time frame allows us to receive special graces and blessings from God which helps us grow spiritually and become closer to the Lord. The testimonies in the book are real people and are true. God's lessons are illustrated in this book and are meant to open up the hearts of those reading the book and assist them on their own spiritual journeys which can shine the light of goodness on all of God's creation. Leah Bickel was born in London Ontario Canada. She migrated to the United States as a child. She was married to Nick Bickel 48 years ago and converted to Catholicism at that time. She was raised in a Christian Baptist family. She had her own business and designed jewelry. She is an artist and enjoys painting. Father to the Fatherless is about fathers. It is about children growing up without a father, and the impact it can have on a person's life. It entails the importance of a father's role. It is designed to encourage absent fathers to be a part of their children's lives regardless of their relationship with the mother. Its about mentoring and being mentored, about being in the right place at the right time. In this book I, share my personal journey of being fatherless, not ever knowing my father. I also reveal how God was preparing me to be the man I am today. I talk about God the Father of all fathers being there for all of us when our biological father is not around. It is about, despite not having a father to help shape my life, against all odds and statistics I succeeded and became a father to 4 children. This book is a prime example how a person can succeed in life, despite the odds being against them. I did it with the help of my Heavenly father and So Can You!!! - How Historic Moves of God Happened-and Will Happen Again
    av Bob Griffin
    170,-

Firestorms of Revival is the outgrowth of my doctoral work on historic moves of God, revival. In my research I discovered ten characteristics of revival that can be observed in twelve moves of God in the Old Testament, eight in the New Testament, and in five major post-biblical revivals. It's how revival always happened and will happen again. It is how revival fire will ignite across nations and the world. I have documented my research, included a major bibliography on revival, and chapters on the strategic nature of prayer and the Word of God, as well as inspiration to follow God's revival instructions. The appendices include tips on Prayer, help for breaking spiritual strongholds, a brief study on the nature of the Gospel-the message of the Church, and a considerable list of helpful biblical texts for spiritual growth and understanding. It is my hope and prayer that Firestorms of Revival will inspire you, the reader, to seek God for revival in our time. Dr. Bob Griffin and his wife Connie have served in ministry for over fifty years. Their first full time calling came after Bob graduated from Denver Seminary. It was to a 10,000 member congregation in southern California. Bob became the pastor for College and Career young adults. There were 600 involved. The Griffins have traveled abroad encouraging pastors, leaders and missionaries. Bob has served in a variety of ministries including youth, counseling/mentoring, lead Pastor, and for nine years, as the Campus Pastor at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana.

  • - Transforming Family Medicine is Key to Healthcare Reform
av Robert T & MD Bailey Pharmd
    250,-

In the United States, family medicine and primary care are on the verge of extinction. The biggest problem that has defined this issue is the lack of time physicians must spend with their patients, which, on the average, is only seven minutes. Since the resources and reimbursement for primary care doctors are so razor thin these physicians must build up panels of patients reaching into the thousands so they can run 30 or more patients through their office daily. This is an unsustainable vicious cycle, as more resources are required for these large numbers of patients, dramatically increasing the doctor's overhead. In Membership Primary Care: Transforming Family Medicine is Key to Healthcare Reform, Robert T. Bailey, PharmD, MD, shares revelatory wisdom that offers solutions for our dysfunctional and expensive healthcare system. Dr. Bailey explores a successful model to restore family medicine to its former days of glory and prominence, so it can play a primary role in reforming our healthcare system, improving the wellness of US citizens, and substantially reducing the high cost of healthcare. Written to both patients and healthcare thought leaders, Membership Primary Care clearly identifies the major problems in the medical field and provides a blueprint for improving family medicine. Putting into practice Dr. Bailey's teaching can result in a win-win-win situation for the patient, the doctor, and the healthcare system. With more universal acceptance of Dr. Bailey's model of care, primary care will draw more of our brightest medical students into this incredibly important field, while greatly improving patient care and decreasing utilization of the most expensive doorways into healthcare. The practical methods Dr. Bailey shares will reform our current system of sick care to one of wellness and prevention. The powerful truths within Membership Primary Care will change your understanding of all that healthcare can be. Dr. Bailey is a recognized thought leader in family medicine, primary care, and clinical pharmacy. He was inspired to write this book to offer an effective solution to reform family medicine and healthcare in general for the sake of the health of our citizens and to dramatically reduce our healthcare expenses as a country. Dr. Bailey is founder and president of Bailey Family Medical Care, in Scottsdale, Arizona, since 2003 (www.baileyfamilymedicalcare.com) and is a specialist in the BaleDoneen Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention Method. He is an expert in the integration of pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. He has received numerous patient awards, including Patient Choice Physician Awards, America's Most Compassionate Doctor Awards, Phoenix Magazine Top Doctor Award, Top 10 Family Doctor and Medical Practice in Scottsdale, Arizona, and the NCQA/ADA Physician Diabetic Recognition Program Award. Dr. Bailey is a board-certified family medicine physician and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. His background is broad and diverse. He has served as a tenured associate professor of surgery, family medicine, and pharmacy at Creighton University and an associate professor of family medicine and Director of Family Medicine Research at Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale. Dr. Bailey has an illustrious academic career spanning more than forty years and has been awarded numerous large research grants from the National Institutes of Health and the Health Futures Foundation in esophageal disease, pharmacology, and left ventricular heart assist devices as a bridge to heart transplant. Dr. Bailey is a Christian physician and minister and was ordained as a full-time Christian minister of medicine by William Standish Reed, MD, who pioneered the healing of the whole person through the spirit, mind, and body. Dr. Bailey serves as president of a nonprofit organization, Prophet's Reward, Inc., (www.prophetsreward.org) to further positive health care reform in primary care and to advance whole person medicine.

  • - Why I Believe
    av J Lynn Currie
    180,-

Mr. Currie discusses how it can be difficult to share the reasons he believes in God, which is what motivated him to write this book. The main thesis is that it makes as much sense scientifically and logically to believe in God as to not believe. He accepts that you may disagree with his choice, but hopes you will consider that belief is not necessarily a delusion or something that ruins everything. With some discussion about what we mean by belief and God, he presents the reasons and evidence that support his belief. Some reasons to believe are based on things he doesn''t believe. He doesn''t believe that nothing produces something, that matter has always existed, or that intelligence, consciousness, emotions and a sense of morality arose from inanimate matter. He believes that there is evidence of design in creation and life that points to God. These things require an autonomous, intelligent, external to our time and space entity, God. He also believes that the arguments against God are not adequate to negate the plausibility of sensible belief. He believes in free will. A person can choose to believe or not. Either choice is based on a person''s understanding of the evidence along with faith. Mr. Currie did undergraduate studies in philosophy and theology at Lincoln Christian University. He received a B.A. and M.A. in psychology from the University of Illinois - Springfield with an emphasis in social psychology and research design. His master''s paper was a review of research on religiosity. Lynn taught at the community college. He has worked as Job Training Counselor, Research Analyst, and Program Evaluator with various government programs. He''s served in the church as youth group sponsor, deacon and teacher. Lynn and his wife are members of the Episcopal church in Decatur, IL.

    av Daryl J Minor
    180,-

This book "Hell is Real, A Diary of Visions & Hope" is about many of the true to life and factual experiences that other individuals and I have had since 1974, in regards to visions, stories of hope, and most of all, about God''s precious gift of eternal life that we can all have through his one and only son Jesus Christ our Lord. It is my hope that after reading this book, and the many passages of scripture from the Bible that are written within it, that you will come to understand that we are indeed living in the last days right before Jesus returns for his Church, that Heaven and Hell are not some fictionist or made up place but rather are very real, that Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Angel''s, Demon''s, and the Devil do also exist and are very much real, and that man does indeed have a soul that will feel, think, and live forever once a person''s body ceases to exist in this temporal world of ours as we know it. I also pray, that your life will be touched, and that you will come to understand that in spite of all we go through on our pilgrimage through this Earth, that Jesus will always be there to help as well as save all of those who call upon his precious and wonderful name.Daryl J. Minor currently lives at home with his wife and two daughters in McAllen, Texas. He is retired from the military and has worked in the social work and education sectors for over 30 years. He holds also a Bachelor''s Degree, two Master''s Degrees, and numerous other titles as well. Daryl and his family are also current and active members of Liberty Temple Pentecostal Church in Pharr, Texas, where they continue to attend and have done so faithfully for more than 28 years.

This nonfiction manuscript discusses self-issues that are common among people and what to do to master those self-issues. Using realistic examples to display how these issues can affect lives, the author encourages readers to see that managing our emotions and understanding our intentions can make the difference in the ease and peace of our lives.Discussing issues that we have with ourselves that can be illuminated by our efforts is an important topic to cover right now due to current situations in the world. The author provides readers with tips to care for themselves without the need for medication or doctors, and in a safe manner, so readers will find these tips helpful and appropriate for what they are going through.Using realistic examples in some of the sections, the author paints a picture for readers of what can happen when the wrong actions are committed and lives are changed forever. The examples show the pitfalls that can happen and the importance of making better choices not just for yourself, but for those you love. My name is Denzel Luckett and I was born in Tacoma, Washington on October 10th 1991. After a short time in Washington, my family moved to Virginia when I was one-year-old. I am a father of three boys, engaged, and I love my fiancé so much. I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and great humans who inspire one another. I enjoy going to the park and meditating, listening to the birds and the sound of the water. Nature itself brings great joy to me. What inspired me to write this book was my depression and having difficulties growing up. I was struggling to identify myself, trying to fit in with the world. I battled with depression and I felt anxiety, guilt, hopelessness, sadness, loneliness and had suicidal thoughts. Those feelings overtook me on a daily basis. Once I recovered from depression, I was inspired to help others who might be experiencing the same thing. I always tell my mother that it can be 100 years from now when I''m no longer here, and if my book can save people from self-destruction, that is all I need. I hope the information in this book will help you become better with yourself, letting you know that you are a divine, beautiful human, capable of activating your higher self and letting go of low self-esteem. This book will help you change the way you think; help you get over the hard times in life. You are in control of you, your higher self does exist in you, you just need to acknowledge it. Understand the change starts with you, become the change for the better!! Thank you for taking the time to read this book. May God bless you! My second book is coming soon entitled Letting the Ego Go.

  • - and what does He want with me?
    av James Hoffman
    330,-

Who is God? is a spiritual exploration of the nature of God as it relates to biblical support. It is not this authors attempt to suppose to know completely who God is, but what becomes consistently confirmed through primary evidence of the Holy Spirit" living within the chosen servants of God, the power of prayer and unrehearsed or collaborated testimonies, an transforming power of real, tangible change, healing and stature, inside and out. The concluding results will undeniably show God as both real and directly relevant with regard to the criticality of salvation and peace-filled, purposeful life here and now.Just noting a few of the characteristics (of God), we concluded that God is Love, in that before (and in spite of) our sinful nature, which He knew, He loved us..First. God is peace, God is truth, God is Sovereign, God is faithful, involved and so much more. Imagine living your life every day not being consumed by stress, worry and fear, not being a slave to any and every adversity. We see quite the opposite in succession actually. God knew we were all going to suffer setbacks and physical and emotional hardships of every level. And He knew we were not going to be able to handle them..alone. That''s why he appointed an antidote named Jesus. The peace of Jesus frees us from being burdened or buried by any of life''s troubles, because we know each outcome. By His faithful attribute, our faith in Him arises and confidence stomps out fear. The facts we unfold in this book depict clearly what God is interjecting progressively, personally, profoundly, systematically and conclusively for every aspect of our life, now and for the day we go home to Him, because as hard as it is living within the tangles of life here, without Him, it''s far greater a blow fading away, unsure of what comes next. Look at the faces of those in passing. Many are not just labored in expression by the physical pain they suffer. They will even admit, "I don''t want to die."
