Distinctive and notable aspect of the Book- Allowing the Holy Spirit work in us and understanding that without Him, we are unable to conquer our weakness or subdue the flesh. Loyalty in this Journey with Christ is inevitable. As God's children we need to pledge allegiance to God. If I perish, I perish but the will of the Father for my life must be done. The Holy Spirit has taught me that it is almost impossible to receive anything from the Father outside the place of prayer. I was in the middle of prayer when these words were dropped in my spirit- The Mastery of subduing the flesh. I immediately knew it was a book, but I had no idea where to start. But by the grace of God, I picked up my pen and a book and began to write whatever came in my thoughts, miraculously even I was amazed at certain mysteries revealed in the book. Subduing the flesh is something we have to continue to do for the rest of our lives. The only way to master the art of subduing the flesh is by giving the Holy Spirit a chance to express Himself in us. Jesus Christ saw me through this Book. I am from the South South side of Nigeria, Delta state, I was born to a family of Five children and I am the first of them all. I love to read my Bible, inspirational books, listen to sermons from a select few of preachers and I love to watch movies at my spare time. The decadence of morality in the world today and how the world is rejecting the sacrifice of my Savior Jesus Christ inspired me to write the book. My website is www.childoftheking.teachersden.org.

Merlin's Magic Mission Trip is an exciting novel of adventure, missions, and intrigue, as the author tells the story of missionaries who discover wonder and magic deep in the heart of the Venezuelan Amazon. Inspired by true events, the story will captivate and thrill readers as the journey introduces them to talking animals, unforgettable characters, and an encounter with the power of God. Talking birds, a Jesus lizard, a jaguar, and others describe their amazing creative design and appear as friends, while others represent evil forces who oppose the advancement of the mission team. Deeper life issues, such as why there is evil in the world are also discussed as a part of the narrative and challenge the reader with a theological perspective. • - How to Cope with Infertility (and Help Those Who Are Experiencing It)
    av Blair Parke
    181

You can't wait to look at the test; you just knew for sure you were pregnant. Clothes seem to fit tighter, your appetite increased, and you can smell anything. But when you read the negative pregnancy test, the reality of your situation sinks in: you are still dealing with infertility. And you are not alone. One in eight couples struggle with starting a family, watching others see their parenting dreams come true as theirs seem to crumble. However, your infertility is not a punishment, but a journey that God has placed you as a couple on to learn and grow from. It is a chance for not only a husband and wife to endure together, but a chance for those around them to aid in that growth. The new book Empty Hands Made Full delves into infertility, from biblical times to present-day, as author Blair Parke discusses a topic many know about but few talk about. Having struggled to start a family with her husband Jeremy, Blair shares with readers their infertility journey to instill important truths about childlessness and how others in the Bible experienced the same dealings with infertility until God answered their prayers. As a secondary part, the book also focuses on helping those closest to couples dealing with infertility, advising ways they can help a couple best during this difficult time. The additional testimonies of four brave women are offered here as well to illustrate how infertility has affected them and ways people reached out to help that demonstrated God's presence in their lives. Infertility is not something anyone wants to experience, but the hope is that Empty Hands Made Full can offer a little encouragement and reminder that God still has plans for your parenting dreams.

"You're brainwashed... that's all. There is no God!" Jack shouted at Chris. For Jack, creation is a myth. Evolution is true. Science has proven it. The earth is over four billion years old, not six thousand and if Genesis is not true, the rest of the Bible is not true either. The problem is, Jack knows better. And Charlie knows he knows better. Jack can't reconcile what he has been taught to believe, and what God has revealed to him. All of us face the same dilemma. At some point, we must take a step of faith. When a Paleontology team in Montana discover the impossible, Jack may have his chance to believe. But there are obstacles in the way. The Paleontologists are running for their life. Not everyone is happy with their discovery, and will kill to keep it from coming to light. Jack is still in a wheelchair waiting for his broken bones to heal. And there is a murder at home to solve.

Pondering of a Soul by Patricia Walden is an inspiring collection of poetry that addresses different themes of life and details the author seeking the Lord to help her through it all.The author writes with descriptive imagery that draws readers in to the poems. Readers will be able to relate to her words as she describes the ups and downs of life and crying out to the Lord.I was born an Ozark's, country girl, transplanted to the urban environments of St. Louis, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. God blessed me with the people He brought into my life. He provided opportunities, as well as mentors and those who challenged, tested and encouraged me.As a woman, I quickly learned to approach any situation as a peer and not an underling. I always held to my godly worldview while respecting the other person's right to their own for we will all stand before the throne. My faith is what carries me through this bramble bush of life. In the past 20 years I have known the loss of a father, a brother, a brother, a husband, a sister, a mother, a brother and many others my heart grieves. Life has taken me to my knees. I hold them all dear and within. He gives me hope of being with them again. I have written this book to say, don't place your hope in this world. Patricia was born in Missouri but raised in an urban environment. She attended Drury University but graduated from the "school of hard knocks" after surviving 40 years in the corporate shark tank of America. Although her vocation was business management, her avocation was helping others achieve their best. This is from the humble beginning of file clerk, then supervision, human resources and upper management. She has diverse interests including model railroading and World War II aircraft and history. It's all about people.

  • - The life and ministry of Reverend Alexander I. Siczko
    av REV David A Siczko
    391

I wrote this book to share with you the life of my dear late father, Rev. Alexander I. Siczko and all those wonderful people together who helped to make the ministry of Good Shepherd Bible Church possible. My father was an old-fashioned pastor who lived for basically three things in his life. He loved the Lord. He loved his family and he loved God's people. He would get up in a rainstorm in the middle of the night to go and pray for the sick, because he cared for them. He had opportunities in his younger days to be successful in business, but he loved the Lord more, reasoning that he had only one life and it was better spent ministering to the needs of a suffering sin wounded world needing Christ. I am in the ministry today because my Dad and Mom were the same persons at church and at home. They taught me the love of Christ by living for Him in our home and in public. This book tries to depict an honest portrayal of the spiritual victories and trials of a pioneer Pastor.

Seth's kite has two beautiful tails, but it also has two wonderful tales. A young girl named Annie is also visiting the beach with her family as they heal from the loss of her dad. Seth and Annie have never met, but the kite draws their stories together until they finally become entangled, much like the tails of the kite.Whether we are children or adults, God has a miraculous way of bringing others into our lives at just the right moment. Gary Henry blends Seth's and Annie's tales in a very unique and heartwarming way as he shares a story of family and fun, and of giving and healing. After enjoying this book you will undoubtedly want to "go fly a kite and send it a message of your own."

I came from nowhere with no particular talents or gifts. Then, the Holy Spirit touched me. Now there is nothing I cannot do through our Lord Jesus Christ! He gives me gifts daily to do what Abba asks me to do, along with miracles and wonders, He provides when needed. We all go through tests and trials, but if we endure, trust, seek, and obey, He is always faithful. The journeys we are on are designed by Him to give us wisdom and grow our faith. He teaches us discernment and how to apply our gifts in every situation. Through the faith and trust we have in Jesus, He fulfills each prayer we ask of Him.The doubt diminishes and the miracles and wonders increase with our trust, obedience and seeking. Because HE is ever faithful. This book tells of my prayers to Abba beginning with giving me the faith to believe Jesus is my salvation, to the faith of knowing the Father loves me enough to teach me unconditional love (which is an ongoing lesson). Knowing I can do nothing, absolutely nothing, without the Father. This is the story the Father gave me. I know there is not another like it in all this world because each of us is very different and very special. All glory to You, Father. It was approximately fifty long years of corruption, destruction, and ignorance before I let the Holy Spirit come into my life. Now my friends and family call me a Jesus Freak-defined in the Urban Dictionary as someone who displays an unusual or embarrassing amount of enthusiasm for Jesus. I am generally a quiet introvert-but let the Spirit in me take over and there is no shutting me up. Giving our Lord all the glory!

  • - Reflections on Caring for Mom
    av Donna Olivia
    177

Are you currently caring for someone or seriously considering it? Do you desire to be the one to take on this act of kindness, but wonder if you have what it takes? Such a challenge can be quite rewarding, with each day presenting unknowns resulting in unrehearsed outcomes. Grateful for Grace is a collection of anecdotes and reflections, shared by the author to encourage and inspire the caregiver. It serves as a reminder that the endeavor of caregiving is not a solo act, but rather a selfless act of love, requiring an intentional dependency on God. In all things, one must hasten to seek God's guidance and direction for wisdom throughout the journey. Donna Olivia, a native Floridian, is a retired teacher with over 35 years of experience in education, having taught dance, gifted education, and reading. She has also served over 30 years collectively as a liturgical dancer, working with several dance ministries, and is impassioned about using her artistic gifts to glorify God. She feels that working with children, by teaching through the arts, is her calling from God. Olivia resides in Georgia with her husband, Theodore, son Joseph, and mother, Ms. Grace.

  • av Walkup James Walkup
    177

A Walk with God will show you that you can have "A Brighter Tomorrow," as we have "A Moment of Joy" here and there along the way. The words of the poems contained within these pages display a walk with God through years of growth. They begin with an acknowledgement that Jesus is truly a man who was "Fishing for the Wasted Few". If you feel you are one of the "wasted few," this collection will ease your heart and show you that walking with God daily can be done. If you feel God is searching for you or "fishing" for you; or you are looking for God in your daily life, be ready to jump onto Jesus' hook. He loves you, he will put a smile on your face and give you contentment. As you turn to pray, and as some of these poems talk about, God will be there with you, quieting the distant flapping of outside distractions and guiding in words he longs to hear from you. "A voice said listen to me, my dear child and learn and grow in knowledge..." God loves you as His dear child and wants you to listen to him and grow in the knowledge that he is always walking with you. He is your Savior. He is loving and guiding you whether you have a "Sad Face" or are on your knees. A Walk with God is not a "how to get to God" book. It is a book of poems written from the heart. And that heart has stayed closely filled with God's love throughout the 40-plus years of poems that God has given the author throughout many, many different phases of his life Perhaps they will speak to you as well and help you have a richer, fuller walk with God. James Walkup has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and family for 45 years. He is an accomplished artist having graduated with Honors from the San Francisco Art Institute. In addition to his BFA, James has received a Certificate in Computer Electronics and during his final job as a Senior Quality Technician, wrote numerous instructions for the other technicians. One of James' dreams has always been to express his faith in God through his art work. Writing poetry is one way he has been able to do this, expressing his love for God throughout the 43 years he has walked with God.

My personal journey within a dark season affected my outcome and choices along the path of development to adulthood. The residual of such season left me in a broken fragmented spiritual, emotional, and physical dilemma. The vision of hope was so blurry leaving me to question my faith in God to the point of unbelief, a period of uncertainty and hopelessness. My nursing career became a flickering light as it kept my mind focus and away from the existing problems. Caring and serving others provided me with diversity to culture, ethnicity, values and belief on a magnitude of authenticity words cannot express. It opened my eyes to death, pain, suffering, illness and miracles while at the same time it mirrored my physical emotional and spiritual bleeding within. The entire process was instrumental in my ability to navigate through the valley, ignite my faith, erase doubts and experienced God's amazing Grace. God has definitely proved his faithfulness in my circumstances, provided restoration and miracles throughout my journey."May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13 NIV Yvonne M. Nelson, a mother of two, born in Kingston, Jamaica to a nuclear family of love. Graduated 1974 from Gaynstead High School and migrated to the United States of America to study Business. However, after years of studying she proceeded on adventure in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. She proceeded to fulfill an education in Nursing, gaining a Bachelor and a Master's degree. This experience provided her the opportunity to see life through the eyes of others, adapt to their culture, ethnicity and exposure to religious beliefs that solidify her faith in the Lord Jesus.

  • - The Blood of Yeshua
    av Ima Arnot
    371

This book reveals Yeshua, His activity and Blood shed, from Genesis through Revelation. The covenants are explained, including the Marriage Covenant which is yet to be fulfilled. Hebrew custom is explained regarding betrothal and the requirements placed on both partners. This opens up our understanding, giving depth and meaning to portions of Revelation. In addition, Father's Feasts are explained, with the pertinent scriptures grouped for easy reference. Those feasts which are already fulfilled are explained, as are those awaiting fulfillment along with the prophecies of what we should expect. This book also contains the migratory history of the tribes of Israel beginning during the time in Egypt, and ending with their current locations. Finally, the progression of the Rock of Jacob to the Stone of Destiny (over which all Davidic Kings and Queens have been coronated through Queen Elizabeth) is traced. This book will bless you as you become acquainted with our history. Having been an outspoken believer for 60+ years, and growing spiritually all during that time, I felt a need to have instructional materials which I could share with family and friends. Being Messianic, I began to write my own. This book has been used in my home Bible study with friends. I had also written regarding the Spirit Realm which, Lord willing, will be published following this book. I had begun work on the book of Revelation, but stopped when my computer crashed. Then the Holy Spirit stepped in with great urgency, and the Book of Revelation preempted all the rest. Now, it appears these two instructional books need to be published, also. It has been my greatest joy to serve my Master. May He receive all the glory.

  • - God's Proven Resource
av REV Dr Anthony F Cleare
    181

The book is about tithing- Its blessings and cursings. Tithing: God's Proven Resource is a compelling book which tackles the subject of tithing and how readers can see their financial and spiritual lives transformed when they honor this biblical principle. The author writes with boldness about a crucial topic to the Christian walk, showing readers the importance of tithing and that we are robbing God if we do not tithe. He includes many Scripture references for readers to reflect on, showing what the Word says about the subject. - The author emphasizes that the tithe is ten percent of our gross income, rather than our net income. This is an important point to make as some readers may not realize this as they come into the book. After clearly defining what the tithe is, then readers can grow in knowledge from there. The author talks at length about the blessings and curses involved in tithing and not tithing respectively. Finally, the author includes examples from history of individuals who tithed and were blessed with prosperity, such as William Colgate, John P. Rockefeller, Sr., and Henry P. Powell. This will be inspiring to readers to know that these well-known figures tithed and how God used their giving to help others. My name is Rev Dr Anthony Cleare and I was born in Nassau, The Bahamas. My hobbies are cycling, weightlifting and basketball and reading. I believe I was inspired by the Lord to write this book as an evangelism tool to prevent souls from going to hell. Robbers of God's tithes go to hell! Hell is a place of intense fire and torment, unquenchable thirst, gross darkness, and most regrettably eternal separation from God. I do not want to see my worst enemy go there.

Every real and imagined wall of hostility is resolved in Yeshua, the Christ. • - Affirmations for Self Care Self Worth Self Value
    av Dr La'vel F Hardy
    181

I wrote this book to give people the tools needed to shape their lives by the words they speak. While on this journey speak these affirmations daily, and the words you speak will soon transform your life. The affirmations in this book will speak wholeness, wellness, and healing over the body, mind, and heart. No one needs the validation of others to have a fulfilled life, but all must recognize the importance and power of self-care, self-love, and self-worth. Every affirmation spoken will empower and encourage all to live better, while traveling the road to best. When declaring these daily affirmations, it will be in the forefront of their mind and every word will have a positive impact on their life. I pray this book encourages all to understand the weight and power of their voice. No one will lose their voice, but have the power to reset their mind and heart. Everyone who has been afforded the opportunity to read this book will be encouraged to keep pressing, pushing, and persevering. Giving up is not an option. I want this book to empower all to live a better life as you travel the road to best. Everyone's life is worth living, and every person has the power to change the placement and assignment of their life. I encourage people don't put off for tomorrow, what you can speak today. It is time to SPEAK IT NOW.

What would you do if you were faced with one of the largest challenges of your life? How would your family respond and what would you want your path to be? Irwin County High head football coach Buddy Nobles was faced with a diagnosis and a path that led only one way- to be there with his family, for his family, and for them to face the challenge as one. The challenge led them down a path that would lead to the ultimate victory on the field and the ultimate prize off the field. An entire community and extended family would walk the path together with a family and they would all learn and remember what it takes to be "Nobles Strong." Jon Nelson is an award-winning television journalist for thirty years based in Atlanta. He graduated from Lakeside High School in Atlanta and Florida State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Political Science. He has also covered high school athletics for Georgia Public Broadcasting for twenty-six seasons as a host and correspondent for its high school coverage. Thiis book tells of the great exhibition of faith coming alive, trials of the seasons, and the ongoing transformation of life events that never ends.
