Even though I was raised in church, I was not taught a lot about tithing. I knew my parents tithed, but I didn't really know the reasons. It was not until I was in my 30's, living in Macon, Georgia, that I began to hear about the benefits of tithing. At the same time, I started a new job at a church across town. A big part of my job was to enter the contribution information into the computer system each week.....and I began to notice a pattern. I had "inside information" about those that tithed, those that gave occasionally, and those that did not give. This, along with the teaching I was hearing at the church I attended, began to convince me that I needed to tithe! There were so many areas in my life where I had desired change for years, but it never seemed to happen, until I began tithing consistently! Tithing was the key! Tithing was an outward demonstration of trust. It changed my life. This is the story of my tithing journey. "The Tears that Flow into the Kanawha River" is about a man named Leon Breckenridge who relives his life about his experiences as an African American man living in a segregated community by the Kanawha River, before advancing to desegregation. Leon recalls the people who set the foundation for his trials, pains, failures, triumphs, and success. He writes about his younger years in the 1960s and thereon when his father put a 38-pistol to his head, and his mother suffering from mental illness. He takes us back to the 1960s when black and brown people protest for equality. People riot and hurt each other while vandalizing properties. Leon shares stories about living in Massachusetts and the people he met along the way that made an impact in his life. He gains strength due to his faith in Jesus Christ. Leon Breckenridge is a Vietnam Veteran who resides in Massachusetts with his family. After he retired, he decided to write an autobiography to share his life stories living in Montgomery West Virginia as a young boy during time of racial tension. One of the many concerns Leon carried over the years are the demolition of Simmons High School that was a historic Black school and the destruction of the African American cemetery where the bones of the slaves had their last resting place.

The Epistle of Romans is the theological cornerstone of the New Testament, the greatest of Paul's epistles. Задачи Высшей Школы Лидерства - помочь христианским лидерам понять феномен лидерства и способствовать эффективности их деятельности. ВШЛ СПбХУ делает акцент на целостное преобразование человека (лидерство и духовность); мотивирует слушателей к служению Церкви и обществу; и, наконец, побуждает искать инновационные подходы в различных обстоятельствах лидерства и управления. Just missing the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Team as the number-one athlete in her weight division, she became the first alternate for the U.S. team. In Jesus - Our Great Samurai, Sorg shares how, through Judo, Jesus changed the course of her life forever. While Tammy trained for the 1996 Olympics, she lost at the Olympic Trials again, but worse things were in store for her as she left judo competition and began studying for her Master's Degree in Sports Management. In her first Semester, Tammy learned she had a devastating disease called Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.). She has learned to trust in Jesus, her Great Samurai, to get her through the daily physical, emotional and spiritual battles. Jesus gives her the strength she needs every day to put on the Armor of God and pick up His Sword and fight. Sorg has worked with at-risk youth for 10 years, and she also worked as Adjunct Faculty for Indiana Wesleyan University for 10 years. She has taught in Elementary through High School. She has also worked as a Children's Pastor and currently volunteers as a Teen Bible Quizzing Coach. Tammy enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, two teenage kids, and her niece. They enjoy video gaming, puzzles, swimming, baking/cooking, and studying scripture together.

Messages from the Soul is a compilation of poetry by the author, Vinoa-Ebron Wilson, which also contains poetry written by her daughter, Ivana Monique and her mother, Dora Lee Ebron-Keyes. Vinoa's poetry will put you in the heart of Brooklyn, NY and the Brownsville area, where she grew up as a teenager witnessing the changes taken place in her hometown. She is a native of Brooklyn, New York who now resides in Houston, Texas. Vinoa started writing poetry at the age of 13 after being traumatized by an incident that almost ended her life. Due to the incident, Vinoa found it difficult to verbally express herself without stammering or stuttering, but very easy to share her story and life in writing poetry. Vinoa is the daughter of Dora Lee Keyes-Ebron and the late, Robert Lee Ebron. She is one of five sisters and nine brothers; the wife of Pastor W. Frank Wilson and the mother of two children, Benjamin Preston and Ivana Monique.
