Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth" (Genesis 1:26-28). We were created for intimacy, we were created to rule and love with Him. There is more to us than meets the eye. We were meant to live for so much more than we realize. To be able to understand our identity, we need to dig deeper into the beginning. What happened? Where did we come from? We were created in the exact image and likeness of the Ancient of Days. Justin was born in Kuwait several days before Saddam Hussein's invasion in 1990. After escaping to India, they were able to come back to Kuwait a few years later and then moved to the United States after that. Justin grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles and had a radical encounter with Jesus that took him on this journey of understanding his identity in the One who created all things and revealing the Heart of the Father to those he comes across. In the process, finished his Bachelors in Christian Studies in Global Ministry at Grand Canyon University.

Her account of her perseverance in the face of adversity and her finally having a spiritual awakening that changed her life and allowed her to change it for the better will serve as an inspiration for all those who read it, women and men alike. We can only hope that this current volume will be only the first book of many that she writes."James A. Lynch, PhDIndiana University, Bloomington Gifty Annobil is a Ghanaian broadcast journalist with over a decade of experience in television news casting and reporting. It was culturally expected that every girl should know how to cook. It was an expected prerequisite to being able to serve your family in the future. It is rather amazing, how this cultural influence upon the author have ignited a creation of rhythmic taste bud delights. So, if your taste buds are bored, or if you have been infected with the 'urge to cook' virus, this compilation of recipes will be an effective antidote. Dive into it as often as needed. Unshackle your creative imagination. Turn up the heat. Applaud the waltz of the ingredients. Smile and 'chill' with family and friends as you 'lick your mouth' with the savory creations of your hand. She is the eldest of her mother's three children. From the earliest of age, it was obvious that God had blessed her in the area of the 'arts'. She is as energetic and busy as a bee; sings like an angel; performed in ballets; designer of wedding invitations; stared in a television show; creator of educational display boards; trained educator; a librarian; sketch artist; a wife worthy of praise and a phenomenal mother.Today, we see her debut performance (Lick Your Mouth - Island Cooking) as an emerging and formidable author from the 'baby boomer' era.

A place free of worry and fear embraced by the serenity of knowing Gods grace through Jesus Christ. The words in this book will set you free as you enter a new way of life. You will be surprised what you will find there if you join me and learn to Pay Attention. I was an average American living an average life mixed in with an above average appetite for alcohol. Addiction had taken my wife of 24 years and ruined all my hopes and dreams leaving me at the bottom, the very bottom. Then these events cracked the door open to a better way, not knowing what it all meant I took the leap of faith and now I want to share this testimony with you in hopes you will also take the leap and join me.

  • - Marks of A True Disciple of Christ
    av Talabi Ade A. Talabi
    251

Being a young Christian, I am constantly reminded that ministerial assignment is not showing and tell adventure. My calling requires training and mentorship in discipleship and leadership. Paul, an Apostle of Christ, recognized that every Timothy must learn the art of becoming a good soldier of Christ. The focus here is to rectify the deceptive mindset prevalent within contemporary Christianity. Young men and women are launching into the vast ocean of ministry life without thorough preparation and consequently making a shipwreck of not only their destiny but also of those who follow in their footsteps. Ministry is not a bed of roses, get rich quick expedition, but a calling fit for a good soldier. God sends us to proclaim liberty to the oppressed and freedom to those in captivity of Satan. A true disciple of Christ is the one whose life's vegetation has been pruned by the cross and mowed clean by training and mentorship of seasoned leaders. It is required that good soldiers of Christ pleases Him who enlisted them. Apostle Paul warned of the consequences of failure to do so. In I Timothy 2:1-4, he reiterated the four cardinal marks of a Good Soldier of Christ. They have been "ENLISTED" as Soldiers of Christ and his kingdom. They must "ENDURE" hardship as a Good Soldier of Christ. They are "ENGAGED" in spiritual warfare-the battle between good and evil, light and darkness. They must not be "ENTANGLED" with the affairs of this world. If they do, the one who enlisted them will not be pleased. A good soldier bears impeccable testimony like Apostle Paul, who said in 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Pastor Adegboyega Talabi was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He graduated from college with HND (an equivalent of BSc. Applied Science) in Quantity Surveying 1985. He migrated to the United States of America with his wife, Pastor Mabel Talabi, in 1988. Pastor Talabi went on to bag a Master of Arts degree in ministry from Moody Theological Seminary Chicago in 2005. In 1993, Pastor Talabi and his wife, Pastor Mabel Talabi, led a pioneering effort in church planting in Chicago and established more churches in the United States of America and Canada. Pastor Talabi is the Regional Overseer of Christ Healing Evangelical Church in North America and the Lead Pastor of Christ Healing Evangelical Church South Holland, Illinois. He is the president of One Night with the King Crusade Ministry, an inter-denominational ministry reaching the lost for Christ. He is passionate about discipleship and equipping the saints for effective ministry. Pastor Talabi loves travels and adventures. He is married to Pastor Mabel, and together they have four beautiful children, Ife, Faithful, Tutu, and Michael. Adegboyega A. After taking over the world with death and mayhem, the coronavirus has caused the world to shut down with no mercy. Poetry is in my bones. Love to travel and experience different cultures. grew up on the island in the Caribbean called Jamaica and then travelled to different countries, I realized that putting words on paper was a gift from God.

Even though I was raised in church, I was not taught a lot about tithing. I knew my parents tithed, but I didn't really know the reasons. It was not until I was in my 30's, living in Macon, Georgia, that I began to hear about the benefits of tithing. At the same time, I started a new job at a church across town. A big part of my job was to enter the contribution information into the computer system each week.....and I began to notice a pattern. I had "inside information" about those that tithed, those that gave occasionally, and those that did not give. There was a huge difference in the lives, the lifestyles, the attitudes, and the level of faith in the tithers versus the non-tithers! This, along with the teaching I was hearing at the church I attended, began to convince me that I needed to tithe! There were so many areas in my life where I had desired change for years, but it never seemed to happen, until I began tithing consistently! Tithing was the key! Tithing was an outward demonstration of trust. It changed my life. This is the story of my tithing journey. Lyn Johnston Taken was raised in Opp, Alabama and was brought up in a caring home and active church. She left Opp for Troy to attend college, then moved to Montgomery, Alabama, and later to Macon, Georgia, where she met her husband, Don. "If you are over 40, single, and desire to get married, God has not forgotten you! I often felt He had forgotten me! I was 48 when we married!" She says though this book is about tithing, "it is really about so much more. Tithing is key to so many elements in the Christian walk."

"With this new book, Robert Waggoner, a highly respected Christian scholar and writer, has proven again his love for the truth regarding Christianity. His passion is to share the basic elements of the Savior's salvation with the multitudes of the earth. This book, An Introduction to Biblical Christianity, is a product of his years of study, teaching, and preaching the everlasting gospel of the New Testament. We need to read it with thoughtfulness and prayer. It will bring us closer to the truth that God has sent to the world through His Son, Jesus the Christ." - Eddie Cloer, Harding University Professor Emeritus of Bible and Preaching, also Director, Truth for Today - World Mission School. "Dr. Waggoner has packed a lot of information in a relatively small number of pages. I can promise the readers that their knowledge in several biblical and biblical-related areas will increase significantly in spite of the book's size. It is obvious the author loves the Bible and wants to share with others what he has learned through many, many years of studying, preaching and teaching about it. Robert has a unique gift of making An Introduction to Biblical Christianity much more than just an introduction." - Rodney Eugene Cloud. PhD, Chairman of the Turner School of Theology, Amridge University, Montgomey, AL. Dr. Waggoner is a rare gem among those who seek to be biblical in their thinking and in their actions. The Primary Chronicle of Kyivan Rus' was authored by the early Christian monks of the Caves Monastery, and other monasteries, in today's capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv. It has been known by many different names including, "The Tale of Bygone Years", "Chronicle of Nestor", as well as other names. The Chronicle covers many centuries and was added to by many different monks. It tells about the founding of Kyiv and the origins of the Ukrainian people. This translation is based on the original Laurentian and Hypatian texts and is intended for the general reader who is interested in learning about the early history of Eastern Europe, in particular Ukraine. This modern English translation of the Chronicles of Kyivan Rus' will give the general reader and the student of Eastern Europe a good understanding of the times in which the two East European countries of Ukraine and Belarus and the Eurasian country of Russia were formed. It was a time of great change and major social upheaval, political, religious and cultural. This new translation of the history of Kyiv will give clarity to some of the misconceptions that are still prevalent in many political and academic circles around the world about Ukraine and Ukrainians. Dan Korolyshyn, born in Austria during the War, came to the States in 1947. Attended Public School in NYC on Manhattan's Lower Eastside. After school he went to Ukrainian school and studied Ukrainian history and culture. • - Exposition of the Epistle of Romans
    av John H Walker
    177

The Epistle of Romans is the theological cornerstone of the New Testament, the greatest of Paul's epistles. Romans focuses on relationships between Jew and Gentile, deals with tensions in this church by showing that Jewish and Gentile Christians require a righteousness that can be obtained only as a gift of God and must be lived out in personal Christian life. RIGHTEOUSNESS IN ROMANS Gospel Righteousness (Rom. 1). The Gospel is about a righteousness which comes from God "by faith." Need for Righteousness (Rom. 2-3). The Jew with the Law and the Gentile without it have sinned and desperately need a righteousness neither possesses. Righteousness and Faith (Rom. 3-4). God always accepts faith in place of the righteousness human beings do not possess. Jesus' sacrifice of Himself makes this possible and is the basis for the forgiveness freely offered to Old and New Testament saints. Righteousness realized (Rom. 6-8). Faith unites the believer with Jesus in His life and His death. The Holy Spirit within gives us the power to live righteously here and now if we live by faith. Righteousness in history (Rom. 9-11). God consistently operates on principles imbedded in the Gospel in Old Testament as well as New Testament eras. Righteousness in the faith community (Rom. 12-16). Believers are to live out God's righteousness in relationships within the Christian community. Paul gives a beautiful description of righteousness as God's character finds expression in the way Christians live together in the Lord. Pastor John H. Walker: married to Cynthia, is the father of two daughters, was called to the gospel ministry in October1982; ordained as Minister of Christian Education1990; Assistant Pastor, Faith Memorial Baptist Church, 1986-2014 Educational Preparation: Wayne State University, School of Social Work, -1978, MSW: Dallas Theological Seminary, 2004, MACE degree.

Mission Eurasia. In Jesus - Our Great Samurai, you will learn to put on the Armor of God and fight with the Sword God gives you to win every battle you face: physical, emotional, and spiritual. Jesus Christ has more in common with the Samurai warrior than you can imagine. Join the author on a journey exploring the History of the Samurai Warrior in Japan and the History of Jesus of Nazareth. Explore Biblical as well as other historical accounts on how God's Armor and Sword can help win each battle. Be encouraged as you discover how you can have the All Mighty God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in your corner of the ring fighting with you. Also, learn how Sorg fought a living Samurai at the Imperial Palace in Japan and lived to tell about it. With forty years of experience practicing, competing, and coaching Judo, Sorg found respite in Jesus Christ, who helped her through the emotional turmoil of defeat and emboldened her to be a witness for Him. Just missing the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Team as the number-one athlete in her weight division, she became the first alternate for the U.S. team. In Jesus - Our Great Samurai, Sorg shares how, through Judo, Jesus changed the course of her life forever. While Tammy trained for the 1996 Olympics, she lost at the Olympic Trials again, but worse things were in store for her as she left judo competition and began studying for her Master's Degree in Sports Management. In her first Semester, Tammy learned she had a devastating disease called Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.). She has learned to trust in Jesus, her Great Samurai, to get her through the daily physical, emotional and spiritual battles. Jesus gives her the strength she needs every day to put on the Armor of God and pick up His Sword and fight. Sorg has worked with at-risk youth for 10 years, and she also worked as Adjunct Faculty for Indiana Wesleyan University for 10 years. She has taught in Elementary through High School. She has also worked as a Children's Pastor and currently volunteers as a Teen Bible Quizzing Coach. Tammy enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, two teenage kids, and her niece. They enjoy video gaming, puzzles, swimming, baking/cooking, and studying scripture together.
