Hopefully, this book will help you understand better how to serve our Lord. I am not saying this will all you will need but maybe a starting place. I have read several books that have helped me and maybe this one will help you. The books I have read are listed in this book. The best you can do is to read the Bible repeatedly and this book is not in no way to replace that. Any book you read needs to agree with the Word if it or this one does not meet that then toss it into the trash. Every servant must be prepared to serve, and this is the reason I wrote this. There is no need for us to make the same mistakes that others have made. The biggest mistake I made was thinking I had to do the work hopefully this book will help you understand who does the work and how to allow Him to use you to do His work. Was called to preach at age 36. 40 years later I still pastor a Church. Went to college at Southern Baptist College and Seminary at New Orleans Baptist Seminary. I received a Associate Degree in Theology. I have pastored eight Churches. They have been in Mississippi, Arkansas, Illinois, and Indiana. I have made many friends in Churches and have been married twice. Lost my first wife over ten years ago to a heart attack. Re married to another wonderful woman for the last five years. I have three kids and six grand kids and one great granddaughter. I live in Cherokee Village Arkansas at this time. I Pastor Grace Country Church in Sidney Arkansas. Hopefully this book will help some pastor or Christian in some way.

This book was written at the insistence of my mother-in-law and my sons. I write inspirational poetry and at times I would write about the events that happened in my life. My mother-in-law was my sounding board and after she read something I wrote, she would say to me "Son that was beautiful, have you ever considered publishing any of your poems? You really should." So, I started writing more poetry. In closing, being a black father is a difficult job, but it''s a job I would do all over again. I was able to navigate many different life situations and put them in a positive frame in an effort to help me to not only see the problem but to look also to the best solution possible. If you look at things with a positive prospective and with love, you will be amazed at the good in life that you can do. I hope that this book will be as much of a blessings to others as it was a joy for me to write, and that it inspires people to be the way God in his wisdom created people to be. David L. Dollison, Sr. was born in Muncie, Indiana. He went to Southside High School in Muncie, where he met his wife Phyllis in the 10th grade. They have been together 51 years and have had six children, five of who are now grown. They have fourteen grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.In 1970, David joined the US Navy and served aboard the CVA-19 USS Hancock (also known as The Hacking Hanna). David served his country till 1974, when he was honorably discharged. After his return to civilian life, David attended Laney College in Oakland, CA. He graduated in June 1977 after receiving an AA in General Education, while simultaneously employed at the Alameda Navy Rework Facility. David worked at the naval facility going from a clerk to an aircraft sheet metal journeyman mechanic until the base closed in 1995. David and his wife are retired.

  • - A thought-provoking and scriptural examination of the most difficult and controversial topics in the book of Revelation.
    av Cathy R Howe
    270,-

This book is a passionate call to fellow believers to prepare for the Church''s final hour. God''s faithful saints need unshakable faith and "lamps full of oil" to get through "a long, dark night" before the bridegroom comes. It''s almost prophetic midnight, and Christians have starring roles in the Revelation of Jesus Christ! According to Jesus'' parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins, half of those anticipating the bridegroom''s rescue made inadequate preparations. This is a warning for us, the Church! We''re all waiting for His return and rescue, but only half of us are truly prepared for the dark and difficult night! Genuine belief is strongly connected to preparation. This book answers important questions, such as: Will Christians be deceived into taking the mark of the beast? Is the United States in the Bible? Is there an early harvest, secret rapture of the Church before the Coming of the Lord? This book may be a strong wake-up call, and a bit unsettling for some Christians. Hopefully, any fear or controversy created will bring the reader into positions of repentance, revival, and readiness for all that God has in store, to usher in the new heaven and earth! Cathy holds a bachelor''s degree in education from Western Michigan University and served as an educator in the public schools for thirty-seven years. She served as a mentor and small-group teacher in the faith-based prison population of Polk Correctional Institution in Florida for 12 years. She volunteered as a facilitator for Family Integrity Training to the inmates at PCI, and served as a volunteer mentor at the Polk County Jail as well. Cathy, with her husband Bill, has participated in the ministry of the Christian Motorcyclists Association for the past 15 years. She enjoys studying the Bible and biblical commentaries.

The Marriage Institution describes marriage as instructed by God in the bible. The book sets out the origination of marriage from the garden of Eden when God made Adam and Eve and blessed them in a matrimony and then HE empowered them, and for that matter mankind, to rule and dominate the earth and multiply. And there was no mention of same sex marriage from the origination. The Marriage Institution goes on to illustrate marriage from different world cultures portraying a beautiful picture of the marriage institution from different ways and styles but all in accordance with biblical perspective. The book goes on to mention how some African marriage cultures were dominated by the European marriage culture due to the introduction of Christianity to Africa and how that led to so much controversy and misunderstanding. Hence the Marriage Institution sets out what went wrong in the African church marriage when it comes to the two cultures, which are the European and the African cultures, and how the errors could be fixed. The Marriage Institution is good for teaching, marriage counselling, can be a study book for couples and even good to read by book lovers and added to collections. Pastor Joyce Nyante is an ordained reverend minister, evangelist, and teacher of the word of God. She is a mother and a wife, and her hobbies include writing, cooking, shopping and being with family. • - Our Final Warning
    av Ima Arnot
    430,-

Notified by the Holy Spirit in late December, 2019, that this book was to be written, it was begun in early January, 2020, and completed by the end of April, 2020. The Holy Spirit was present to guide and sometimes correct.Pieces of portions that were not understandable would come during sleep and would present a clear picture the next morning as that section was typed.Being made to gaze in one direction, and one direction only, the cry of the Holy Spirit, page by page, became increasingly clear: It is time for the nations of Israel to learn who we are.The main theme of this book is that we have broken covenant with our Husband/Redeemer. We must repent and change our lifestyle accordingly. Yeshua is standing at the door. The time is short. Ima Arnot is an 80+ year-old, Messianic great grandmother. Having become a believer in Yeshua after the birth of her second child, she became a Bible-thumping Christian. From that time to this, she has had a personal, intimate relationship with the Living God. His Word and His Presence have sustained her through many difficult years, including the loss of a husband and a daughter. Yeshua''s promise, "Lo, I am with you always" has proven true. He is faithful.

  • - Restoring your children back to God Life and Death is in the power of the tongue Proverbs 18:21
    av Kymberly Tahirah Johnson
    186,-

The purpose of this book is to give you a tool to defect the enemy over your children and in you''re house hold. This is not a tool to make every problem go away; walking with God will always make the devil hate you. Life happens to us all, but with God all things are possible. The bible says that the thief (devil) comes to steal and to kill and destroy, but I (Jesus) came that you may have life and that more abundantly (John 10:10). The devil is always going to be after you and your seed. But Jesus came and defeated the enemy on your behalf and has given you who are His, the authority to apply the living word of the Lord over your children and every situation that you face. It''s time to take back your God given right and war for your children until they are able to war for themselves. Don''t hear what I''m not saying. I not telling you if your children are grown and have a disrespectful spirit, rebellious or not following the rules that you have to allow this behavior to continue in your home. No if it''s time for your son or daughter to move out than do that, you can still pray for your children when they are outside of the home for Gods hand to be on them. This is a tool for you to use if your children reside with you our elsewhere. I pray that this book will bless you and your family as you learn to speak life and not death over your children. Be careful to consistently watch your words before they form out of your mouth. Proverbs 15:28 says, "The heart of the Godly thinks carefully before speaking". Their use to be a saying when I was growing up that said, "Sticks and stone may hurt your bones but words will never hurt you". This statement could be no more father from the truth. The truth is sticks and stones hurt but words have a more damaging and lifelong effect over your psyche. People all over the world have been affected by something some has proclaimed and or misspoken over their lives. These effects can lead to the inability to make sound decisions, low self-esteem, anger management, lack of empathy, and many untreated conditions such as mental illness, drug and alcohol abuse, depression, ineffective coping skills and much more. Words are powerful, just like words have the capability to tear you down, words spoken over your life that encourages and supports, have the capability to uplift you and make you soar to higher heights. Psalm 19:14 says, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to your sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer. Let''s get ready to take back our children in Jesus name. It''s your God given right to war for what God has placed in your pathway. To whom much is given, much is required Luke 12:48, It''s time to war and I have news for you The fight is fixed! You WIN... My name is Kymberly Johnson I am a bloodline breaker for my children/family and for whomever I meet. I am a seeker, a seer and hearer of God''s word. My deepest desire is to please my heavenly Father with all my heart. The Lord has blessed me with four amazing kids. Three of whom I have adopted (James, Jquan and Jayla) and one that has been graphed in (Michael). I have been a teacher of children for over 20 years with many degrees. I have always felt the Lord calling me from an incredibly young age. So, I sought the Lord at the age of 5. Jeremiah 29:13 says, ''You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all of your heart". Although I did not utterly understand all of God''s word and his amazing Love for me at the time. I felt His call and at the age of 5 I was filled with the Holy Ghost.

  • - How to develop a mindset for a triumphant life
    av Phillip Woods
    180,-

Victorious living is about a mindset one must have in order to bounce back after a setback in life. It is about the courage to try again after an apparent defeat, or the refusal to give up no matter how great a challenge may seem. Or how to handle; traumatic occurrences, disappointments, emotional hurts, rejections and how to pick up the pieces after everything has fallen apart. Every experience we have in life, good or bad, leaves an impression upon our subconscious mind, especially the traumatic ones.In this book I not only share with you some of my own personal experiences and challenges but also the methods and principles used to rise up in victory by renewing my mind. I trust that you will be blessed. Be Fruitful & Multiply. Phillip Woods grew up in the projects of Columbia S.C. At the age of nine years old he developed a habit of viewing pornography. At twelve he was introduced to drugs; marijuana, popping speed and intravenous activity which included heroin. Because of a poor environment, he grew up with a poverty mentality and the fear of speaking in front of a group. He was born again at the age of eighteen and now dedicates his life to holding seminars, authoring books and developing study material to help others live a successful, victorious and prosperous life.

  • - 183 Devotionals to Plant in 365 Days: Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they sprouted, grew, and produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted! (Mark 4:8 NLT)
    av Demario L Rollins
    250,-

In today''s busy world, it is so important to stay grounded in the Word of God. With our busy schedules and hectic lives, we can sometimes reason with ourselves that we don''t have time to do a devotional or read the Bible. But this couldn''t be further from the truth.Destination Heartland: 183 Devotionals to Plant in 365 Days is an inspiring collection of succinct devotionals by author Demario Rollins. Written out of years of experience and his personal relationship with God, Demario has created a devotional that poses scriptures to meditate on each day and challenges readers with applications to put the scriptures into practice. Each entry is brief enough to be done in a few minutes while still allowing readers to devote time to hearing the Word of God and creating the mental and spiritual framework to "do" the scripture during the day and following days, all while underscoring the truth that the entire Bible is God-breathed and inspired.Inspired by his time as a small group leader and seeing the fruit produced by sharing his devotionals with its members, Demario is now bringing the same opportunity to the world, inviting readers to come along on the journey with each devotional able to be reflected on and applied twice in the 365 days. If you are ready for spiritual transformation and want to be a doer, not just a hearer, of the Word, this book is for you! Make this next year your spiritually best yet! Demario Rollins has regularly enjoyed serving in numerous roles of ministry including teacher, jail minister and youth group leader to name a few. He has a doctorate degree in Pharmacy from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and is a practicing pharmacist. Demario''s inspiration for this book was a deep desire to provide the reader a succinct publication to pursue God through daily devotion. This unique presentation provides a daily "Scripture" and a daily "Application" to be covered twice in one year. Demario and his wife and three children make their home near Little Rock, Arkansas.

    av Eric Folds
    260,-

The book is about the historical proof of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead based on verifiable ancient history. The book is also about the 150,000 hours of research done on the ancient relic known as the Shroud of Turin, but also how the information studied proves the resurrection based on the science explained by particle physicists. This treatise identifies the cause of the existential crisis in man which leads to despair and the common issues of anxiety, severe depression, insecurity, and fear. This book provides hope for all in an existential crisis through understanding the meaning and purpose for their existence, God''s eternal plan and purpose for individuals, and the in-depth theology of atonement which brings man into a relationship with a loving God. • - Based on Real Events
    av Lorraine Theresa Austin
    250,-

She was terrified, an unwilling captive. Snatched from the sanctuary of her own home, she agonized that she would never see her loving parents and her high-spirited, energetic siblings again. She and her abductor had travelled countless kilometers in the torrential monsoon rains. The hour of darkness descended upon them and she panicked because she had never been away from home after dark. She had stopped begging him to turn around and take her back home because her pitiful pleas fell on deaf ears. An unfamiliar sense of dread staked a permanent place in her heart as he hurried to some unknown destination. With confusion and fear occupying her mind she was unaware of the plans playing out in his evil mind. She had cried her eyes out during the rain-drenched ride, not that her tears would have been visible with the rainwater pouring down her face and dripping off her already waterlogged clothes. She was exhausted and chilled to the bone. Her mind searched frantically for a means of escape, but at six years of age, her inexperienced child''s mind didn''t have the ability to strategize her way out of this quandary. To any discerning adult, the reason he had kidnapped her was obvious, but innocent child she was, she had no understanding of the dark side of the man''s thoughts. There were three things she knew for certain: she was terrified, she had to escape him, and she had to find her way back home to her family. But therein lay the problem. How could she find her way home when she had no idea where in the world she was?

  • - Hope and TRUTH for Today
    av Nancy Hollywood-Leamer
    310,-

The engaging concept, "Why Go Anywhere Else?" creates common bonds with readers; plainly answering profound questions. This book reads like a down-to-earth conversation, while confronting the subject of TRUTH without exception or apology. What is truth? In today''s world, the word truth has become ambiguous - embracing new "woke" terms, like "my truth" or "your truth." With an easygoing and relatable style, reflecting on the uncertainty of life itself, leading readers to the only truth that really matters; the TRUTH about where they will spend eternity.Exposing the battle for every soul, the spiritual warfare in the world today, and Satan''s mission to destroy us through deliberate diversion, distraction and deception. Taking a flash tour from the beginning of time to the end of the world; clearly laying out God''s eternal plan, the options of our destiny, and the gravity of the choice that belongs to each of us. Addressing the weighty topics of eternity, death, heaven and hell; yet lifting them up with optimism, and a glorious hope that shines through like a beacon of light. Ultimately, offering to those seeking truth, a compelling case for Jesus, who stunningly claimed to be "The way, the TRUTH and the life." Nancy Hollywood-Leamer, began her journey of faith nearly 40 years ago, on a rocky road of blessings, trials and many tragedies; most recently, the death of her beloved daughter, Nichol. By the grace of God, she''s still walking, and now, with a strong desire to lead others to the place of forgiveness, fresh starts and happy endings. That place is found where her journey began; at the foot of the cross. She offers us hope, as we consider the frailty of life. The hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ - the one who conquered death and lives forever.

The purpose of writing this book, is to encourage readers to not give up on their dreams and aspirations that have been put into their spirit by God, Himself. You are predestined to succeed in your life. But that doesn''t mean that you won''t have some vicissitudes and challenges to contend with. Once the dream or aspiration is in place into your spirit or heart, it''s left of to you to make the effort of bringing it to pass by faith. Remember you have the God of the universe on your side. What are you saying to yourself? Are you looking at the challenges with doubt and fear? Saying to yourself, I''m not worthy of what I see in my future, or I''m not able to accomplish dreams. because of my back ground and where I was raised. Stop speaking defeat, and start speaking. "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." You should be able to see by my testimony, that it does not matter how you start out in life. What matters is that God has His Hands on your life, and you are determined to achieve certain goals in your life. You can accomplish all of your goals with the help of God. He will protect you from all dangers and help you with obstacles, when you are a part of His kingdom, having received Jesus Christ as your personal savior. He protected me from, abusive relatives an abusive parent and the war in Vietnam. He protected me from an drug overdose and alcoholism. He gave me the spirit as a child to start speaking over my own life, what things that I would accomplish in my life. Even with all of the challenges that I faced, and all of them are not mentioned in this book. God allowed me to achieve goals in my life. That I know for sure. Start speaking!

The tree in my front yard has green leaves, if a voice is telling me they are blue; the voice is lying to me. The rose bush has pink flowers, if a voice is telling me they are brown; the voice is lying. The lilac has lavender flowers, green leaves, the stems are gray; if I am told anything different; the voice is lying. If I go to God in prayer, and a voice is telling me something contrary to what God''s written Word says; the voice is lying and it isn''t God speaking to me.Even Jesus when His ministry started, being tempted by the devil, had a voice telling Him something contrary to what God''s Word says. In Luke 4:4 Jesus responded to the devil, "No! The Scripture says."Please don''t just listen to any voice. What does scripture say? If it is God''s voice you are hearing, it will have God''s Word as its witness. God doesn''t lie, God will not tell you it is okay to do something contrary to His Word. This is how we know what God is saying, which will be different from what the devil is saying. God''s written Word confirms what we are hearing. The Lessons God Taught a Simple Man, comes from moments like this. I spent time listening to God and aligning it with His Word. Then I followed His direction and put it to pen. This book was written with a desire to share what God has taught me. I wanted you to know that you are not alone. God will speak to you, as He spoke to me.May the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christcause you to abound unto every good work. Those that have ears, let them hear. Richard Durdel loves Jesus Christ, the Son of Living God, who is his Lord and Savior with his whole heart. In the 1980''s, Richard went to college but didn''t graduate. He has some education, however, he by no means is a theologian. Richard considers himself to be blue collar, as many of you that read this book may be. The words written down may not always flow fluently but they are the words that God has given him. Richard prays you understand as he has understood.

"In You Alone", the book''s title and lead poem, was inspired by Andre Rieu''s violin rendition of "You Raise Me Up". The other poetic endeavors were inspired by God Who has been most generous in handing me the words to my poems. For each poem I offer due praise to Him for His Gift.In 1988 I suffered a heart attack in Anchorage, Alaska while on a job assignment there. That event got my full attention. Disabled by the heart attack, I began writing novels and poetry, reflecting on the many gifts God had shared with me over the years. This attention-getting event has led me to publish three novels and seven books of poetry since that date.Poetry, in my opinion, is to be shared and should a line or two touch someone''s heartstrings, I am delighted. For my effort, God receives the honor and the glory which He so richly deserves. As you read the poems, perhaps in your daily devotionals, I trust that a line or two will touch your heartstrings as you meditate upon God''s Love and His Grace. The 84-year old author resides in Herriman, Utah. He was born in the tiny farm community of Ace, Texas, the ninth and youngest child of a sharecropping family. He graduated at the top of his class in Huntsville, Texas in 1955 and attended Sam Houston State Teachers College and Rice Institute (both now of University level).Other than his love of writing, he is an avid duplicate bridge player, having attained the rank of Ruby Life Master in January 2020.Though he now resides in Utah, he has remained a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas, his home before moving to Utah three years ago.

"Life is largely a matter of expectation." Roman poet Horace (Quintus Horatius Flaccus), who coined the phrase "Carpe diem" or "Seize the day," seems to suggest that from the moment we rise each morning to the moment we lay down to sleep, we are filled with expectation. Yet, others would disagree asserting that it is best to live without expectations in order to avoid painful disappointment. I submit to you that we can neither live without expectation or disappointment. So, that leaves us with the need to learn to manage our expectations and minimize disappointment. That''s what this book aims to do. At the completion of your reading, you should understand the essence of expectation; the levels of expectation; with whom you should place your expectations; and when to stick your neck out in expectation. Further, if at the outset of your reading you subscribed to life with "no expectations," perhaps at your completion you will be free to more safely expect again. Stan Rayford has over 20 years of experience as pastor of Restoration Fellowship Tabernacle of Detroit and as a licensed professional counselor. He has earned an MA in Theological Studies and a second MA in Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. He holds a BA in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.

If you want to know if there are other prophets out there who, this is the book for you. If you are a prophet and you are discouraged about your gift and your work as a real prophet, this the book for you. If you know someone who is struggling with the prophetic gift, this is the gift for them. If you are not a prophet but you want to know about the character of a prophet, this would be a good book for you. Learn how GOD can guide you with colors, how he can guide you with smells and other encounters.I was born and raised in Washington DC. I received the gift of the Holy Spirit as they refer to it today, at the age of 11 years old. My mother said I prophesied to the whole church while being filled with the HOLY GHOST. I started off in church in the children''s choir. I then been became an usher, later a missionary in the church after I graduated from High School. I played the drums for the church and then I started prophesying to individuals while I was a teenager. I moved to Virginia for 15 years, Later I moved to North Carolina where I reside with my husband Bobby and where I started preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have 5 children, Tony, Abel, Heather, LaJoyce, Malcolm and a godson Andrew.I started preaching in 1995. I starting pastoring in 2005. Today I pastor a church, work a full time job and love on our 11 grandchildren. I am a shouting, preaching, loving, teaching and prophesying servant of the Lord.
