"Knowing God should be our greatest pursuit. That is why I am really excited about Walk with a Limp. Ryan Noble, one of my sons in the ministry, has written a powerful book that brings you face to face with knowing Him. With captivating personal testimonies, Ryan takes you on a journey of what it means to truly pursue God.As your perspective of God changes, you will find yourself wrestling with Him.But that''s a good thing because wrestling with God will change your life forever."Dr. Tony EvansSenior Pastor, Oak Cliff Bible FellowshipPresident, The Urban AlternativeThe world is full of the unknown. Will I find a new job? Will I ever meet "the one?"Is there really a God out there who loves me? If He''s there, why does He seem so distant sometimes, and why doesn''t He answer my prayers?Walk with a Limp shows us that God is not angry when we ask these questions. He is not afraid of our doubts, and He isn''t offended by our intellectual showdown between human reasoning and faith. Instead, God is teaching us something-we might not know or truly understand who He is.With powerful stories from his own life and raw admissions of his own struggles,Ryan Noble leads us on a journey of discovering who God really is and howHe operates in the world. Instead of running from God, what if we paused and asked Him our unspeakable questions? Sometimes it may seem like He''s not listening. Sometimes we may not like His answers. But we often see God best when we stop and wrestle with Him over our doubts and concerns. We get stronger, and we sometimes bear scars that come with growth. And that''s okay. In fact, it''s a good thing. Ryan Noble is a teaching pastor at The Rock Fellowship Church in Miami, Florida. He is the founder of Ryan J Noble Consulting, which helps ministries and organizations achieve greater impact through traditional media. His background in performing arts and his M.A. in Media and Communication from Dallas Theological Seminary allow him to authentically communicate Biblical truths in a unique way. • - preparation precedes promise
    av Boniface Burton Shonga
    177

In the Gospel of Mark, chapter 1, verse 17, the Lord Jesus made a profound statement, "Come, follow me and I will make you to become fishers of men." He was speaking to rough Galilean fishermen who He intended to raise to become the very first pillars of the Christian faith. The bottom line is that these men had to be prepared before they could become leaders of the early church. Christ makes it clear that He was going to "make" these men, like a master sculptor who brings the best out of something that had no form. In this book we look at the preparation that makes a person fit for the task. Boniface was ordained to serve full time as Pastor at Kabwe Chapel in January 1991. After years of an illustrious career in education and industry he resigned to answer the call to serve the Lord full time. His immense gifting in teaching, preaching and motivational speaking inspired many at Kabwe Chapel and beyond which resulted in the growth of the congregation from a couple of hundreds to well over a thousand at the time he was being consecrated bishop, in December 2006, to oversee not just the local assembly but the whole family of churches planted under Rock of Hope Assemblies. He has been a frequent speaker at many church meetings and conferences in Zambia and abroad, including in South Africa, Congo, Malawi, Tanzania, England and USA, to mention prominent ones. He has recorded messages which were broadcast on several television and radio stations which have been blessing many. He also has a huge crowd of "disciples" on a popular social network. He has authored a book, "When Kings Dream" which has encouraged many readers. In a declared Christian nation that Zambia is, with many evangelical churches and anointed ministers, BB is considered a voice to the nation and a role model to many believers and non-believers alike. As a service to the community, he has chaired different boards of management both statutory and parachurch. He is married to Ethel who is also a gifted teacher of the word of God. They have four adult daughters.

  • - With Questions Aligned to State Exams
    av Dr Monica Barnes
    271

Father to the Rescue illustrates the thoughtfulness, consistent love, and wisdom modeled by God, our father, through the eyes of both the people and the animals on the journey. God was stirred to action when his children, who were being harmed by their cruel masters, sought His assistance. He came to their rescue with loving arms wide open and many ingenious and miraculous tactics in his bag to relieve their oppression. Father to the Rescue stimulates a reminder that God is available to us and that He will respond generously, in His time and manner, to our needs as we prayerfully seek Him. The text includes vivid illustrations of a portion of the Israelites’ journey from Egypt through the wilderness. Children will be exposed to Biblical lessons which enhance life and develop their intellect while completing independently or with an adult the questions which mirror those on state exams. Monica Barnes Ed.D. has spent over 17 years in public education teaching students from all exceptionalities as well as adults. She is passionate about Christianity and the encompassing influence it has on all aspects of the human condition. She believes all children can learn but most importantly considers education to be at its best when it contributes to the development of the whole person. She infuses Christian principles into education for cognitive and spiritual development.

Wouldn't you like for your children, and theirs, to avoid making the mistakes you made? Don't we all want future generations to be able to begin where we left off? This book was written for you, to those who hold the future, to give you keys to replicate the successes of godly men and women who have gone before you, and to go yet further. Each chapter is composed of three sections: accounts of a life of God-adventures, a short Biblical study based on those experiences, and personal exercises geared to help you discover and relate to God at a deeper level. The ultimate goal is to help you uncover the treasure God has hidden within you, the dreams He has placed deep in your heart. Then you can respond to the Lord's call to help Him design the future of your family, city, and nation. Thana Rolph grew up in rural Kansas. She taught high school English while raising three daughters. After the youngest daughter left for college, Thana and her husband Dick embarked upon a God adventure that has never ended. • - A Journey into His Presence
    av Deborah A Logan
    177

The question I ask myself is "how did we get here?" How did we get so far away from the things of God? Why do we celebrate Easter instead of Passover? And where did the other traditions and holidays that we as Christians celebrate come from? I have discovered that much of what we do as Christians in the form of celebrations are not found in the Bible. Celebrating the Lord's Feasts: A Journey into His Presence outlines the answers to my questions. As Christians we have gotten away from our Jewish roots, and this book is an attempt to reconnect us. As you take this journey you will discover how the Feasts of the Lord are for Christians. You will discover Jesus in Passover, Pentecost, Trumpets, and the other Feasts. The information is presented in an easy-to-read format and directs you to the Word of God. Take the Journey into His Presence and be blessed by what you discover. Deborah A. Logan is a native of Philadelphia, PA. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in business from St. Paul's College. The mystery of the Godhead is indeed a mystery, and there is not enough material written on the subject. In my search I found some material written on God, the son and the Holy Spirit. It was not enough to answer the questions in my mind, proper understanding and knowledge was missing. This book is written with much fear of the Lord, in a prayerful way to Honor the Lord Jesus Christ. Some much needed Honor, since God elected the nation of Israel to be his witnesses in Isaiah 43:10, they failed God because of rebellion and sin. The Church is now given this task Ephesians 3:10 "To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God."I am a simple minister in the church and by this revelation given me by the lord do declare the manifold wisdom that there is ONE God and three manifestations of this true and only God. Hosea 4:2 "Hear the word of the Lord, Y children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land." I pray that you the reader, will find the knowledge of God to be a teacher of this mystery.
