They called him Teacher this book is an attempt to analyze the teaching strategies, methods, approaches and philosophies of Jesus. It is not an effort to measure the teaching methods, approaches, and/or strategies of Jesus' teaching against secular thinking, theories and philosophies regarding education. It is not a step by step how-to manual on the means to transfer learning from the teacher/professor's brain to the student's brain. It is designed to portray not only what Jesus taught, but also how He taught it. He knew what to teach and how to do it in ways that are comprehensible to man. It is an attempt to help dedicated teachers understand the high calling they have because the Son of God allowed himself to be called, "Teacher". Carol P. Ramsay is Professor Emerita from Lake Erie College, OH.
