A humorous tale for children, with characterful illustrations. The story revolves around the small world of a humble garden snail who has the most extraordinary thing happen to him!
Norm couldn't have guessed that one day he would turn into a monstrous, whacking great beast - he thought he was ordinary! His mum had no idea either. Worse still, the beast seemed uncontrollable and bent on mischief and destruction. How will he manage these transformations?
Another event he did not think possible was meeting the (rather unconventional) girl of his dreams. They will both need to overcome obstacles - both mental and physical.
The narrative touches lightly on social themes to do with being an outcast. Essentially, however, this is a chapter book that will be an enormously fun read for any child (or grown-up).
