He is the author of many articlesand nine books, this one being a revised and enlarged edition whichincludes a new section of his thoughts on what it means to be ateacher. His wife is a licensed social worker and artist, onedaughter an acupuncturist, another a therapist, and a sonfinishing his doctorate in philosophy at the University of Texas,Austin.
