Adventures of Piers Surcastle and the Blue Scythe

The stories in this book involve the experiences of Piers Surcastle and how, in his dreams, he met a superhero called the Blue Scythe. Their special friendship lasted for four years in the early 1950s, beginning when Piers was eight.
