She's starting grade six, and her best friend Jemima doesn't want to be friends anymore. Ali Jackson doesn't know why.Bouncing back, she finds that focusing on little fix-it projects takes her mind off Jemima, and stops her feeling sad.While trying to help the teachers change some things she thinks need fixing, a series of misunderstandings makes Ali feel like no one is listening.
