Based on Lewis Carroll's classic children's story Alice in Wonderland, this play reframes his beloved narrative in the feminist lens of a young artist finding her way through the world. Come with Alice, as she explores Wonderland with her loyal Rabbit and a fiercely independent Hatter. Discovering the beautifully cryptic Absolem, a rather forward Cat, and an unforgiving Red Queen, Alice takes you on a poetic journey through her own mind. Transitioning from the worlds of her childhood to the stark reality of adulthood, Alice confronts her new-found fears and obstacles in the friendly faces of Wonderland. Winner of Best New Play & Best New Writing at The Greater Manchester Fringe 2022 Contains adult themes, suitable for ages 12+.
