Ancestral Geographies of the Neolithic

The causewayed enclosures of the neolithic era were the first monumental structures in the British Isles, but their use remains unclear. The authors raise issues of archaeological interpretation, and use the walkways as case studies in the development of an arcaheological interpretation.
