The study aimed to characterize the behavior of Acute Appendicitis in pregnancy at the General University Hospital "Vladimir Ilich Lenin" in the period from March 2018 to March 2022. A descriptive observational study and prospective character was conducted in cases of appendicitis in pregnancy. The non-probabilistic purposive sample 47 pregnant women operated on for appendicitis. Prevalent complications were maternal, with the threat of premature delivery and pneumonia standing out, while surgical complications were infection in the surgical wound and hematoma, all in the predominance of the conventional approach.
